Well, the 2nd episode of this show that I just don't understand. This is supposed to be some super secure weapon depot, but half the team can just get let in an unguarded back door? Also, the armory was only guarded by 1 guy, who wan't even paying attention? My primary question is, why is there some weird nightclub thing going on? What it this militia or whatever it is trying to do? Just a "the world is ending, so let's go out partying" kind of thing?

Then, to make matters even better, they decided to kill someone, which we know by now, turns them into a zombie even if they hadn't been bitten, so the whole place pretty much gets wiped out.

Maybe I just have no clue what's going on, but I can't say I liked this episode.

This episode just really didn't make sense to me. First the premise of these kids somehow controlling an entire school building, and what looks like making traps for people and robbing them. Pretty sure I saw they had a huge stockpile built up and it looked like kids were sorting through it. I'm not sure how long this is after this zombie apocalypse started, but seems it would take a while for children to get to this point of insanity. Unless for some reason the show makers were trying to make a social comment on today's youths? I don't know.

Also, I know this has been mentioned in other reviews, but how does Spears not realize he needs a head shot to kill the zombie? Of course, maybe he is trying, I'm guessing it's hard to hit a head sized target that is moving while also running around.

But, overall this episode just made me scratch my head and wonder where it came from.

Not as good as the U.K. version. I could be wrong, but it seems like there is a lot more staged scenes in this than in the U.K. version. For example, there are a lot of "fights" and cooks/owners/Ramsay himself "walking out", but then coming back. Also, how can every single dish in every single restaurant be disgusting, overcooked or under cooked? I mean I can understand a lot of them being bad or even most of them, but all of them seems unlikely. Of course, on the other hand, his palate is probably super amazing and sensitive. On a related note, most of the owners think that he will love their food. I guess they haven't watched any of his shows!

It's also kind of amusing to see the waiters/waitresses start running from his table after they have delivered the 3rd or 4th dish. Even though, he does try and joke with the waitresses to make them more comfortable.

In later seasons, it also seems to be a lot more dealing with dysfunctional families, and Gordon Ramsay becomes a marriage/family counselor or something. I am more interested in watching Chef Ramsay, rather than Dr. Ramsay.

Also, kind of annoying to me, the several "previews" and "coming ups" which often are the same exact scenes shown 3 or 4 times in one show. Maybe this is a common thing to do in "reality" shows, I'm not sure because I don't usually watch this type of show. This, and the UK version of kitchen nightmares, are the only "reality" type show I have watched more than 2 or 3 episodes of. This show is worth watching though, Gordon Ramsay is awesome.

I enjoyed the show, which is the main reason for a person to watch a show; and would recommend it for a watch.

When this movie showed up in my Netflix recommendations, I figured that I would like it based on the synopsis and other movies like it that I have enjoyed. Still, it sat in my queue for months because of work and time restraints.

I finally got around to watch it and I enjoyed it even more that I thought that I would. I thought all the actors and actresses did well, and I thought the story was interesting. Also, I finally understand why it is called Bird Box!

To me this type of horror is more scary and suspenseful than the monsters or whatever who just kill people or rip them apart or eat them. There is something just super frightening about an unseen presence that makes you want to kill yourself.

Only problem I really had with this movie is that they never really explain what is going on and why/how it happened.

Gordon Ramsay has to deal with an extremely arrogant chef/owner. She is self taught, which is fine by the way, Gordon has run into other self taught chefs who did fine. The thing that doesn't make sense, is that she will not listen to his advice. He is not some guy just coming off the street, he is a world renowned chef, so I would say that he knows what he is talking about!

It's kind of funny that she is surprised that he is harsh. If she knew anything about him, she would know that is how he works. Not to mention, the before mentioned statement, that he knows what he is talking about.

Seemed to me like he was a lot nicer to CeCe than many of the other chefs he has dealt with in his shows. He still didn't hold back with what needed to be said, but he is a lot more gentle about it than he usually is.

I really enjoyed this one. Chef Ramsay goes to help a Japanese restaurant. The owner, who is a former chef, is completely crushed emotionally. It is obvious in his responses, that he has just completely given up and doesn't have a clue what to do.

His family is great, quite clearly they care about him, his 2 children helping in the restaurant, and his son even having lent his father a rather large sum of money.

Gordon Ramsay fixes a huge problem by getting Akira back in the kitchen. That is how Akira came up in the world and he seems to enjoy cooking, wearing a big smile as he cooks, rather than just managing.

Very enjoyable to see the family get closer together and for Akira to be doing something he seems to love.

An interesting episode. Chef Ramsay has to deal with a chef who refuses to listen to any feedback, whether from Gordon, his staff his customers or even his wife! Apparently, this chef also has similar training to what Chef Ramsay did.

Seems not to have much staged materiel in this one. Restaurant makeover is probably one of my favorite ones so far. Especially love the blue, since it seems to mainly be a sea food restaurant.

It's also very nice that Gordon manages to convince the owner/chef to let his Sous chef to actually start cooking. From what little I know about cooking, Hendrick, the Sous Chef, actually seems to know what he is doing. He just needed to be given the chance to actually cook.

Gordon eventually gets through to Andy, the chef/owner, and re-fires his passion for cooking and gets him working with his Sous Chef to make the restaurant a success. Andy is apparently a great cook, Gordon just had to break him from trying to cook everything himself.
