Relevant theme, good story, great actors - all undone by stops and starts. So stiff and uninspiring. No sense of direction to move the whole thing forward. Almost like a job that no one wants to do.

One of the top ranking worst period dramas.one can understand literary license, but its practically an insult to that art form and historical accuracy. A wonder why such great actors (eg: Laura Carmichael, Andrew Buchan) are in it.

This is television for NOW. We are lucky to have people like Michaela Coel share their creative genius with us. Flawless script, performances and production.

Superbly crafted and acted. I'm surprised people were expecting a follow up to the first series. Natalie Dormer's many characters are interpreted seamlessly and daringly. Adriana Barazza a dream as always and the dance scene with Daniel Zovatto is pure delight.
