I don't see why this movie isn't well known and up there known as one of the greats. I mean, the acting, filmography, the story and the film score. I loved the way poker was used as a metaphor for different things like life and a relationship. Its a movie that I can't stop watching because it toys with your emotions and finally rewards you as a viewer whos been there when our main character is at his low points in life but also at his highs. It makes us feel attached to Mike and his feelings about other people. And also what a great poker movie, growing up playing poker makes me wanna find the old poker set and start playing. Great movie

After watching this movie for the second time I still fell the powerfullness of the ending and the downfalls of our main character. I really think that even though Andrew success in the end there many storys like this in the real world where the stars have had rough teachers who have been teaching in the way Fletcher does. An inhumane way in my opinion. And this movie showcases how a teacher can change someone

Being 16 and watching this movie there's nothing more I would like currently than walking down some train tracks with my friends in the summer light. This movie is every Childs/teens dream feeling free and away from their parents. Thats what I think this movie showcases and succeeds in. Its a beautiful story which shows us the "utopian life" of life as a 12 year old in the 1980s and makes me in 2020 want to be there.

This is clearly a one of a kind movie from its time. I know many movies made after this one have drawn inspiration and this is one of the most important cinematic milestones ever. The effects in this movie and the sets are amazing and truly outstanding from their time. The story of course has been retold in other worlds and many children today will know of this story. Its legacy has definitely held together for 81 years this year. Amazing.

An iconic line from this great movie where we really get to see friendship and trust in play. Things that you need in the gangster world. This movie really shows the highlights of the mobster life but definitely also shows the downfalls that follow. Theres consequences to your actions which can't be dealt with as easily as you think. Besides the story and its moral Al Pacino's acting is as always fantastic without a doubt. The other actors definitely deserve a praising too.

A daring movie that shows a perspective that many of us dont see or even acknowledge. It makes you think about the future and how people have been feeling in the past about their sexuality. Nothing special about camera work or special effects but the music included in the movie and its story was very touching.

This movie had humor to an intelligent extent and was one of the most entertaining "older" movies. The story was told nice with cuts from the war room, mandrakes story, and the flight. A very linear composition but filled with humor and action. I still love the iconic scene where "yee haw" is being screamed while riding nuclear weapon. ICONIC!

This movie is crazy magnificent. From recognizable Kubrick-shots to amazing acting this movie had one of the best storys ever written. The way the movie and story worked together with the music made the movie feel so whole. Like others this one also includes the Kubrick stare which I love so much. Not much negative to say about this movie. It also looked very beautiful and colorful for a 1971 movie. Very good

This is a very good plot and a story that gets shifted into almost a game of truth or lie whereas the viewer is playing along. Norton makes this movie very interesting because of his excellent acting. He understands the character and knows how to act as them. The tension this movie creates unfolds in the best possible and expected way it could.

This movies includes everything. Comedy, action, drama and I would also say thriller. Its a movie you can enjoy even though you're not in the mood for watching a movie. Its also a movie that I don't think many people dislike because there's so many different things to like. And also so many different characters to find funny. The characters are very well written and are successfully casted and especially Brad Pitt. An excellent actor. Very good movie

I saw this movie with high expectations. The story was good and the whole idea of this living "theme park" is good. Im not a big fan of anime type movies but still I thought this movie would be an exception but I was proven wrong. It felt like I was never really pulled into the movie and I blame the animations for that. The artwork is amazing but not I wouldn't say for this type of movie

This is a movie that has a storyline that always keeps you waiting for what about to happen next. I left the movie with some questions I would've liked to be answered but none that ruined my experience. Something else that kept the movie going was the amazing acting the film includes. Especially Michael Shannon, Leo and Kate. The chemistry between Leo and Kate drives the movie. Really good movie!

I just finished watching this movie and I am completely blown away. Im sat here wondering about life and feeling just like I did after watching Interstellar. I dont think there's many movies this perfect but the ones that are are clearly a mixture of great acting, amazing directing, a perfect soundtrack(Hans Zimmer as usual) and overall an amazing story. The whole idea of the movie is of course to leave you thinking about life and wether or not everything real and it definitely succeeded there. 10/10!
