Great musical!
18 November 2020
That's a great film. With perfect musical scenes and remarkable characters, The Sound of Music is magnificent, but sometimes a little bit forced; this bad point don't change the fact that this movie has the power to emotion people through all the ages, and surely will continue doing that. The fantastic direction by Robert Wise won deservedly the Academy Awards, with great camera shots and epic development. A film to remember.

Bad movie
18 November 2020
Bad direction and terrible narration, the movie forgets of very important elements. The movie is predictable, and the only good point of the movie is the good development of the relationships between the characters.

Great surprise
22 June 2020
In one of the best pictures released by Amazon Prime Video, the director knew how to use the extremely low budget in his first picture. The movie has a very interesting thread about aliens based basically on the power of dialogues and monologues. In the first act the movie don't looks so attractive but from the beginning of the second act on the picture holds well the attention, and leaves clear the inspiration on Steven Spielberg movies. Surely one of the best threads of the year until now.

Great farewell for Sergio Leone
22 June 2020
This masterpiece by Sergio Leone starring Robert De Niro is surely one of the best movies of the 80s. Amazing as a character study is nearly perfect until the third act, when sometimes is too melodramatic. The perfect soundtrack by Enio Morricone is an amazing factor of the movie which helps amazingly to tell the story. The powerful direction makes the almost four hours of movie feels like one. That's one movie which all the cinephiles should watch.

Expected more
22 June 2020
This remake of the 1933 classic based on the H.G. Wells thread surely isn't good as the first picture. The direction have high and low points: in some points is interesting, but in some points is silly. Sometimes the director look for inspiration in the pictures of Alfred Hitchcock movies, but unfortunately don't work.

Nearly perfect
22 June 2020
This movie is surely one of the more innovative pictures of all the time. Even though it's a silent film, you can feel the emotions very strongly. The critic of the movie still very actual and it's showed in a amazing way. A nearly perfect film, in all the senses.

One of the best war movies of the century
22 June 2020
Surely this is one of the movies that showed in the most perfect way the tension of war, showing the drama and at the same time the cruelty of the nazi party during the end of the Second World War in a point of view rarely showed in the cinemas. One of the best war movies of the century, which deserves the attention of each

22 June 2020
Thats amazing story about heaven, hell and the duality of the human being settled in the poorest region of the Brazilian northeast is a great portrait of the human in the most comic way possible. It isn't the most famous Brazilian movies around the world, but it's surely one of the best.

Silly
22 June 2020
This romantic comedy deliver a good performance that open many doors for Heath Ladger, but don't have many good points. The movie is full of empty and silly elements that turn this movie sometimes shameful. Saving rarely good elements, that's a movie for twelve year old girls.

Last Bergman's masterpiece
21 June 2020
It seems to me that nobody can express the human drama as the late Ingmar Bergman. In Fanny & Alexander, he treats magically the suffering of two children in a situation of tragedy and cruelty. This is Mr. Bergman last masterpiece, and surely one of the best.

Masterpiece
21 June 2020
Based on the classic book by Harper Lee, To Kill a Mockingbird still extremely actual. A great movie to reflect about racism and bad judgements by the point of view of three kids. One of the best social studies ever made. One of the greatest points of the film is the acting of the protagonist Gregory Peck; other spotlight is the delicate way the film treats this very delicate and important subject: the racism.

Exceeded my expectations
21 June 2020
Lady Bird is starred and directed by some of the most promising Hollywood stars. The director portray the end of adolescence and the beginning of the adult life stresses very naturally, almost perfectly. The main actress Saoirse Ronan currently with 26 years old already have four oscars nominations, and how expected delivers an amazing acting with this movie.

Empty movie
12 June 2020
Sometimes it has the atmosphere of a comedy movie. The movie has good actings, good edition and photography, but it felt like empty critics without fundament were more important than a good story for the director. The thread had a big potential, but surely the director couldn't reach it.
