The Boys (2019)
Gritty
Lol this show is something else. It's gritty, dark and insane. Not my type of show tbh but honestly it kept me entertained throughout the seasons. It's get crazy every time.
Great cast!
First Kill (2022)
Something different
Honestly hate that Netflix canceled this show. I actually enjoyed it. I thought the cast were great and the music. The music was what kept it going.
Anything with vampires keeps me hook. So to see what kind of story was being told really kept me intrigued. And to see that it represents the LGBTQ+ in a way I never thought would happen in any type of show or movie like this. I love that.
Would I watch this show again? Yes. Absolutely.
Motherland: Fort Salem (2020)
A great show
I really enjoyed it. I thought the first season was brilliant. As it went on to the second and third, yes I thought the story was a bit random. But towards the end, it all make sense. I'm really going to miss this show a lot and it's definitely a show I can watch again.
The cast were great, the music, the end of another great show. Freeform honestly has some of the best shows on there. It's sad to see another one come to an end. So much has grown from season 1-3 and all of us fans can see that. We will never forget.
The Sandman (2022)
A show I thought I wouldn't like
I binged this in a day up till episode 10. I really didn't think anything of it. One I got halfway, it really went dark. Not the type of show i would watch but I finished it. It did entertain me and I would of given it a higher rating but some of the episodes were a bit hard to watch for me ngl. I think any after episode 5.
Would I watch the series again? Probably not.
Paper Girls (2022)
Got me hooked!
First thought that came to mind was Stranger Things. It gave me that vibe but I know it's not the same. I never even heard of this show until I attended SDCC. Thought I check it out and was immediately intrigued. I want to see more and I want to see if the girls will ever get back to where they were.
Great cast, great story. I like seeing girls taking the lead :) I hope this story can continue and give us what we want to see.
Titans (2018)
THIS SHOW IS BADASS
Okay so like I started watching because I'm a fan of one of the actors. Also because I did watch Teen Titans. I really didn't expect this show to be so good. It's dark, gritty, and just badass.
I would of gave the show a 10 but I felt that some of the episodes were unnecessary. Like it filled in the gap for stories that aren't that relevant. But overall, it made sense in going to the next episode.
Thus, I loved it. Can't wait for season 3!
Too Close for Christmas (2020)
Soo...
I mainly watched this movie because of CMM and Jessica Lowndes. This was an okay storyline. I wasn't expecting much from a Lifetime Chrisfmas movie. Everyone that watches these already know what will happen and such. I still loved it regardless and it kept me entertained.
The Grinch Musical! (2020)
It was good
I loved the movie with Jim Carrey. When I heard there was a musical for it coming out, I was hesitant. I love musicals and I'm pretty invested in the music part of it. I watched it all and there were some parts I wasn't too in to mainly because of how it was played out. There was nothing wrong with those parts but it was just a bit boring for me. Overall, great cast but this is a musical I will not watch again.
The Queen's Gambit (2020)
Never thought I watch a show about chess
I loved it. Binged the whole season in a night. What got me hooked was the star. Anya Taylor-Joy was stupendous playing Beth and it really showed. I normally don't watch shows like these but I gave it a shot and I was impressed with the whole cast and the storyline. It was great. Definitely a show I can watch again.
The Wilds (2020)
It kept me hook
Never heard of this show until I saw it on the front page of my Amazon Fire. Never watched the trailer but once I saw it tending on my timeline on Twitter, I had to give this show a try. Halfway through the first episode, I knew it was going to be great watch. Any show with a group of women is always a fun watch.
I didn't know what to expect other than it gave me Survivor/Lost vibes. I practically binged watch the whole season in one night and it did not disappoint. I did love the plot twist (was not expecting it at all) and I am hopeful for a second season.
Solar Opposites (2020)
I LIKED IT!
It took me a while to get use to like it did with R&M. It's not terrible but I enjoyed it. I look forward to season 2 (:
The Half of It (2020)
I loved it.
Another great rom com about love and friendship. Great cast, great story. This is a movie I can watch over and over again for sure.
Amazing.
Tiger King (2020)
Insanity
The most craziest documentary I have ever watched. I couldn't binge watch it but it was a bit too much for me to watch. But overall, it was great to how everything unfolded with Joe and his zoo. I had no idea what was going on and I was shocked every episode.
