Watched this with my wife and daughter, we all loved it. Easy watching, feel good film that makes you smile. A nice way to spend a Saturday night. What more could you ask for.

Tackling difficult issues is a good thing on TV and this show used to do it well, showing both sides of the argument and allowing the viewers to make up their own mind.

This episode failed miserably in that, so much so that it's pretty much like watching a propaganda film based on what I assume are the writers/directors views.

In this episode the cops are corrupt, protestors are saintly and are victims or police brutality, depending on the colour of your skin you're either a victim or a perpetrator (even though you may not realise it and need training to show you the error of your ways ).

Just an appalling episode and, though I hate to say it as I was such a fan, time to close the book on this series now before it loses all of its credability.

I've recently watched this with my daughter who'd never heard of the film With this being a 1994 film i wondered how it would be viewed by a new generation She loved it There are so many reviews on here explaining the story by people far more eloquent than me so all I will add is that if you ever want cheering up, to be put in a great mood or just watch a fantastic film this should be top of your list:-)

I started to watch this with low expectations seeing that the average score was 6.1 What I found was a very good action film - I haven't read the book as it feels like the bad reviews are often from people saying Cruise is mis-cast Watch it with an open mind, Cruise gives a solid performance, the story is good and it's never boring so just lock reality outside for a couple of hours and enjoy

I've just watched this again for the first time in years, a good idea for a film and Arnie and Danny are perfectly cast for their roles. Some classic lines and great fun

Firstly if you're looking for high brow, intelligent humour to watch with your Grandma then this probably isn't the film for you. However if you want to escape all that's going on in the world for a couple of hours, listen to some amazing music and laugh to childish, un-PC humour then this may be for you. I have watched this film countless times - more than any other - and it still makes me laugh and the music helps to put you in a good mood. As I say a marmite of a film but give it a try if like things like the Inbetweeners films etc .

I've just finished watching series 2 and signed up to IMDB for my first review as I was left feeling so frustrated by La Casa de Papel ! I won't repeat the story line as others have already done this but the story is sound and the acting good for the most part but the massive problem with this is it is sooooo drawn out and overlong. The first few episodes drag you in then there are overly long, often unnecessary scenes that seem to be just "filler" and by the end of series 1 you question whether or not to continue. I did and by episodes 3-4 of series 2 considered stopping watching but persevered. By episodes 7-8 I found myself fast forwarding the inevitable long, drawn out scenes to get back to the story line. The last 2 episodes of series 2 were excellent and what things should have been like all along with a good ending (in my view). Will I be watching series 3 & 4 ? Not a chance - even if I'd not read the already poor reviews of these my time spent watching this have come to an end. Bottom line is would I recommend this to a friend and I'm disappointed to have to say no - as I say it could have been sooooo much better but could I recommend someone spent 20 hours of their life watching this ? I'm afraid not. Such a shame !
