I'm o my halfway through this series. It's fun. There's animals in this that I didn't know existed, different species of wasps etc. Yeah it might not be original, and maybe a little staged, but it's what you'd expect. I would suggest it's probably not for the squeamish though

Is this the Star Wars finale many of us wanted? No. Is this the Star Wars finale we got? Yes. We can't change that. I enjoyed it. Yes, most of it makes little to no sense, but it was a fun flick, which is what Star Wars is to me, a bit of fun and real world escapism. There's things I wish they did differently, but with a film of this magnitude and significance, you're going to get your cry boys who just don't like it (and those who just outright avoided it because of The Last Jedi) Some moments in this film are in my favourite Star Wars moments, other parts dont get such nice things said about them. I liked the return of some characters, as well as the inclusion of some new ones. Some things could have been explained a little better, but it's Sci-Fi and fantasy, we can just accept them. Ultimately, we could (and maybe should) have had something better, but it could have been worse right ??

So everyone says this is the worst of the Star Wars saga. At first I too jumped on this band wagon, and whilst it is certainly not the best by any means, there are some good things about this film. Firstly it's beautiful. The film itself to look at is mesmerising, full of stunning scenery, and beautiful shots. Secondly, there are a few (and sadly only a few) amazing scenes. The opening scene with Poe, as well as the whole section on the salt planet Craig. Most of the film I will admit, is not what you'd expect (or want) from a Star Wars film. Confusion, too many plot holes, and a real feeling like the makers didn't know what they actually wanted to do. Overall, by no means the best film, and yes it probably is the worst of the Star Wars films, but it's not all garbage

What if the original Star Wars was made in 2015? The answer to that question is The Force Awakens. Quite similar in many ways to A New Hope, I really enjoyed this one. We get introduced to some great new characters (Poe is the best) as well as seeing the return of some of our favourite older characters, who are certainly older now. Different enough from ANH to stand on its own, this was a great entry in the series in my opinion that tries to recapture some of the magic from the originals
