The Gray Man (2022)
Fun ride!
I enjoyed this action movie. A fun ride, totally over the top action. Some scenes reminded me of the Borne movies, well executed / coreographed fighting etc. I recommend this!
X (2022)
A joke
This movie is a joke. I am so disappointed. The buildup with the 70-ties wibe is great, but the scary/horror part is abyssal. Crap! I was crying of boredom instead of being scared.
Bull Shark (2022)
Shark flick with almost no shark action
Watched this with my wife because she loves shark movies. We have seen a lot of bad ones and this one is in that category for sure. Bad acting, almost no shark action and an attempt to throw in some non shark drama. In a shark movie. Go figure. Its just awful.
Jimmy Savile: A British Horror Story (2022)
Cut to the chase
A good documentary with loads of archive footage and an atempt to deep dive inte Saviles life and persona. But its simply too long, the content could have been cut by 1/3 and still come out with the same result.
CODA (2021)
Emotional
Simply put, this movie put me through the full register of emotions. Amazing film, great story and acting. The creator really knows how to pull the right strings to get the most out of the story. Well done!
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)
Shallow
As expected this movies had a really shallow story. There is a lot of gore and bodies piling up, but zero suspence or excitement. Its not really a horror movie in that sense, more of a gorefest. The production itself is however really good, with nice effects and classic rural texas environment. Well done productionwise.
Pam & Tommy (2022)
This show is abmyssal
This was really bad. I feel sorry for everyone involved. I turned it of when Tommy started to talk to his limb. This show is abmyssal, but a good excuse to show tits, dicks and what not. Crap in my opinion.
The Lighthouse (2019)
Great acting and production
The story of this film was somewhat intriguing, but not enough to keep me engaged in following the story without eyeing my phone alot during the film. However acting, production and photography is top notch. Well worth a watch for the acting alone.
Nomadland (2020)
Great acting and fantastic scenery
This movie is burstfull of great acting and wonderful environments. But I found it kind of dull and boring. Usually I enjoy slowpaced and well acted films, but this one did not do it for me.
The Stand (2020)
I acctually like this
I read the book in the 80s and saw the other TV series in the 90s. I dont really remember them besides some of the characters names. So I am not as bothered as many other reviewers about how this relates to the source material. I think this is an exciting and interesting show, well worth watching.
