A Beautiful Woman
13 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Hatidze is really a beautiful woman.

She lives in a poor and isolated life, the only possessions are her mother and bees.

She has no husband, no kid but a merciful heart. Her motto of "ONLY TAKE HALF" represents an idea that human race lives with nature in harmony. Every movement she takes indicates that she is Madonna to other creatures of that place. That's is the right way to deal with the conflict between mankind and wild.

The nomadic family is just the opposite. They exploited the resources that god gives them. They seek for benefit of their own recklessly. This is what we are now.

The film is a short one, biography alike. It criticizes the reality with a Macedonia woman. She is lonely because no one came to her heart. Back to movie, it's quite amazing, giving people peace and passes on right concept towards the nature.

Not everyone's taste SLIGHT SPOILER ON PLOT
12 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The story is not in order!

The switch of pictures, which are in the form of translation, cuzand the use of wide angle lens, along with the view, angle of them is just innovative. And intros of every single plot of each chapter are also attractive, let alone the Russian doll like mysterious plots.

The two chapters are like two sections of a circle, and they are containing each other. It persuaded you to finish the hole film.

As a matter of fact, I am not a fan of suspense movie. But this one gives me a haunting feeling. In such a slow pace, the stories mixed hysteria, horror, blood, psychological complexes, sham, love, separation, all these things together. That's why it is so wired and hard to understand.

The absurd ideas are quite "interesting" though.

I consider it's a good and ridiculous film. I really enjoy it, but it depends on people actually. Be cautious to see this!

P.S. the last story of chapter 2 contains the secret of the plot placement. PAY ATTENTION

The Attorney (2013)

The attorney of conscience
12 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The storyline is literally heart-striking, each plot following one by one tightly just like a chain. And it sharply criticizes a political persecution, which strips the civil rights undoubtedly. However justice never came to the persecuted students and citizens, what fell on them is brutal brainwashing and physical torture.

Based on real political event initiated by Chun doo-hwan, the film vividly revealed the social condition at that moment. And the main character is adapted from the story of Roh Moo-hyun, the former president of Korea. And the main character, Song Woo-seok, was a normal person who earned his bread in the city to raise his family. He was once a brick carrier. But he picked up his motto and struggled to be a lawyer. By handling cases which were easy but high paid, he became rich, just with his senior academy. But he was involved in a political persecution just as the restaurant woman's son was arrested because of reading "banned books". Song rose his dignity, his conscience, his justice, he devoted himself to the case controlled by the military government.

Song is a great man. He is just like all of we ordinary people. He is a little greedy, a little vain, likes a drunken man at times. But when the ordinary person did extraordinary thing, he was a legend.

It is literally a "dark" movie under suppression ,full of the dark side of political conflict. But just BRAVO.

Amazing but not my appetite
11 December 2020
From my perspective, it is not a movie that bad. In this period of global crisis, along with all sorts of social problems, this film passes on turning energy indeed. Echoing the situation of discrimination that does happens in our world, the film instantly acquire a broader moral lesson and that's the very aspect which touches me most. It wants to teach people, who live in a isolated and self-centered people, to love your neighbor, to be inclusive, to show more humanity concerns.

However, just a personal view, the film is a noisy one for me. And it's too happy. That itself isn't wrong, but not my piece of cake. Performance is awesome, but it seems that the main characters hasn't changed into a better version of themselves, although getting through so many things, their inherent lacks just hide under the mask of the cheerful atmosphere.

It's literally not a bad film, but not a good one either.

Funny Critics

A Positive classical comedy, Chaplin performed literally GREAT, in such a flourish way. The film is also a blue romance with obstacles on the path. Chaplin and Goddard played roles representing the poorest, lowest class of the society. It's literally hard to survive in a capitalism society commanded by big corporations, but on them, hope reflected on them, so "dynamic and naughty", just like two kidults. Okay, I like it because of its old-fashioned humor, which combined critics with it.

So strong realistic significance
15 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Racial discrimination is still here all over the world. "Green Book" just illuminate such a horrible situation and the way it gets all of this is impressive. On plot, it is properly concise and detailed, it's how a biography goes. The movie is excellent because it comes to "change". From Doc. Shirley bending down to enjoy fried chicken, to Tony respecting Doc. not for payment but for friendship. From police come to find trouble, to a gentle "Your tire is flat" "Merry Christmas". Everyone of us should put down discrimination, for all god's children are born equal. Racial segregation happened, and it's still happening. But not just for that, interactions among people is what counts either. And, with a happy ending, it sheds a light on the road for humanity equality. It deserves to be a "Great" movie.

With all these deep stuff, in my humble opinion, should be one of the greatest in my list. 9*

Taxi Driver (1976)

Drown in the sea of Desperation
14 November 2020
It's a awesome kinda old-school It's like Blade Runner. In such a slow pace, with massive details, repeating saxphone, it creates an atomosphere: a deepening sorrow of an ordinary taxi driver. The movie means a lot but not anything positive, like Norwigan Wood by Murakami. I really love this feeling. However it didn't touch me in any way. I watched in a peaceful mind. That's why I give it 8. Despite my stupid judgement, it's worth watching it!
