When can all animated features be this great?
10 June 2002
I first saw Plague Dogs when I was about 4 years old, right after I first saw Watership Down. I did not understand much of the film then, but now I do. This movie is not about happy endings, zesty lines, or colorful musical scenes. This is about the hardships of life and the ever growing errors of man's interuption in the animal kingdom. You will walk away depressed, but at the same time be more aware of how important respect towards animals is. If possible buy or rent this movie as soon as you see it. I do not believe it has ever been re-released in any form. The acting and direction feels very much like a live action film. Many things about Plague Dogs will stick in your mind for years.

Moulin Rouge! (2001)
A change in the drone media
19 October 2001
There are many who complained about the Moulin Rouge having no original score. Well my friends, the reason BAZ used pop culture tunes was to tell a story. Why is anyone scorned so much for telling a story in a different matter. This movie delivered exactly what it set out to do, a completely different way of telling a story with superior visuals. No acting some say? Where was there time during the movie for truly deep acting? The characters were exactly what they were supposed to be. No plot? It seemed straight forward to me. Poet falls in love with the star of the Moulin Rouge, she is loved by another man, she is torn between the show and love ect. I guess if it does not have explosions, teen stars, and tons of sex it isnt worth the american viewing audience. If you want a movie that is void of acting and class watch Planet of the Apes or the Final Fantasy movie.
