Did not find the following and, while I usually add to the IMDB, right now I do not have the time, so to at least mention them:
- Affordance by Hayato Nove (short, to be found on Vimeo, very nice music!)
- Float Talk by Kiyoko Nakai (short, loved the animation)
- The Last Observer by Daisuke Nagaoka

Gravity (2013)
Nice images only
*Spoilers* Every IMAXX documentation on space is more thrilling than this flick. I was soo happy when it was over and I didn't have to listen to Sandra Bullock's wheezing no more, and Clooney was as boring as usual. I can give only
- one point for the Earth images
- one point for the ISS crash
- half a point for space floating - half a point for the dream (the only realistic action of this movie) And that's it.
And then I go on and wonder: a. Why the astronaut did not learn techniques to calm herself? b. Why the commander did not try to rescue himself as long as the chance was given and pull himself in when they were tangled in the ribbon of the chute? c. Why didn't the other one, realizing that the ribbons start to loosen, use her other leg to wrap them around? ...
Hidalgo (2004)
An entertaining adventure
This was quite a nice movie offering good entertainment: an adventure in an alien world, a beautiful horse, a rough character, slight views into the old west and the experience of a true story. Here and there the story is a bit superficial. I especially want to praise Peter Mensah who's performance as Jaffa was really stunning. A very impressive presence. I hope he will get the chance to show more of his abilities in future movies. All in all a good movie to get from the video store but not necessarily for children under 12 years of age. It is a pity that you get pressed to blabber here. Sometimes one sentence can be more informative than a hundred words.

Great fun! Super Kung Fu!
This movie is a lot of fun. The story is simple but the martial arts presented is really worth seeing. A crew of masters was teamed up for this hit. And there is also this wonderful woman dancing at He Sao's birthday party - fantastic! Different than in his recent roles, where he is just keeping quite and looking cool all the time (which he does), Jet Li is allowed to show his talent as a actor in this film. His performance is very good. He brings this movie to life. The Kung Fu performances are (mostly) realistic and people who practice Kung Fu will tend to try some of the movements. They show different takes from the mantis.
Scooby-Doo (2002)
Matthew Lillard is Shaggy
Matthew Lillard's performance is brilliant, he is the star of this movie, his interpretation of Shaggy is extremely good. I also like Linda Cardellini as Velma, even though I do not feel that the movie characters really match the comic characters (except of Shaggy). It is a nice movie for kids age 8 and up.
