Jojo Rabbit (2019)
Heartwarming and Heartbreaking
One of the few films that made me cry. The tale of a 10 year old boy in Nazi Germany brainwashed by the environment he lives in. Roman Griffin Davis played an excellent role guided by his director and co-actor Taika Waititi. The direction is so good, humourous through the first half and it takes a very dark turn for its climax. A great film and worth your time.
Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003)
Cold-blooded Revenge can't get any better than this
Kill Bill is my favorite action-drama movie of all time. The characters, the dialogue, the bloody action scenes, the dramatic screenplay, love every bit of it. The performances are great, every member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad delivered what their characters asked. Uma Thurman was the perfect choice for the blood-splattered bride. One of my favorite movies of time, revenge was never this good.
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011)
One of the Greatest Feel Good Films of All time
Zoya Akhtar delivered yet another masterpiece. The chemistry between the boys is one of the most realistic friendships in films I've ever seen. The acting is all natural and the camerawork is just beautiful. I just can't describe how much I love this film, one of my all time favorites.
Spider-Man 2 (2004)
The Perfect Sequel
The way it picks up from where it left at the end of the first film, Peter accepting his 'curse' and responsibility towards it, we get to see him being the hero of the city but also struggling to be himself. Trying to balance his double life and eventually giving up one of them and the way the movie puts it on screen is just flawless and you love every bit of it. One of the few movie sequels which improved on its predecessor and delivered an actual meaningful arc to the protagonist.
The Mandalorian (2019)
Perfectly Executed Show
One of my favorite shows of all time. I think what makes it great is the simplicity of its plot. The world building is great and the father-son bond between Mando and Grogu is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. It has the perfect balance of seriousness towards the main plot and fillers between the episodes while never losing focus from the actual plot.
The Godfather (1972)
Just Flawless
The acting, direction, camerawork, dialogue, sets even; everything in this film is iconic. The soundtrack is one of my favorites. I've always loved the simplicity we get to see at certain points in the film. The character developments are just flawless, not just Michael, every character feels changed till the end of the film. It's just the perfect film.
