Fight Club (1999)
Greatest movie ever made
When people who have never watched the movie hear Fight Club, they think it's simply a movie about fighting. In fact, it has nothing to do with martial arts, MMA, etc., but rather a movie about the philosophy of life, masculinity, and consumerism in modern society. It is about a rejected people, a loss of self-awareness, meaningless lives with no purpose, and most importantly, what happens when people decide that they have had enough. The movie Fight Club follows a man simply known as the Narrator. He lives a mundane life of working a purposeless job that he hates, while at the same time dedicating his life to Ikea furniture and other products from big companies. Every day is the same, a constant cycle that lacks meaning. One day, he meets a man on a plane that appears to be the complete opposite. His name is Tyler Durden. He's everything a man wants to be. Cool, attractive, confident, intelligent, and most importantly, free. Tyler and the Narrator eventually start an underground Fight Club in order to get in touch with their masculine roots that have been denied to them by a feminized society. Fight Clubs message is one that has never felt more true than it is today, and needs to be studied and viewed by more people.
The Outlast Trials (2023)
One of the greatest multiplayer horror games in history
The Outlast Trials is a multiplayer horror game where you can go into a trial with your friends or just by yourself, and complete objectives so you can leave, all the while you are being pursued by enemies and psychopaths looking to gut you. The main feature of this game, just like all the other Outlast games is the night-vision, which you use to navigate through the dark and avoid enemies. Due to the fact that you are unable to fight back and only have so much stamina to run, you must be smart about how you approach each and every situation. The environments and trials are incredibly well crafted and creative. They make you feel helpless, and trapped within the walls of the Murkoff facility. One of the main characteristics of the Outlast games was the paranoia of being alone, however, even if you have multiple people, the fear does not leave the atmosphere. The relief you feel when escaping a trial never goes away, even if it's your 300th play through. The musical score was excellent, and the range of upgrades and abilities as well as the customization of your character and room made the game the interesting and gave you something to work for. The storyline and gameplay was incredible as well. Overall, this game ended up being an excellent addition to the Outlast franchise, and I cant wait for the third one.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
PHENOMENAL
Never before have I ever walked out of a movie theatre with nothing but good things to say about a movie. The action scenes were great, the story was great, and I love the potential the movie ended off with for new movies or perhaps a tv show. I also love how they introduced Daredevil in a cameo, using the same actor from the Netflix series. 10 out of 10 stars. Amazing.
The Haunting of Hill House (2018)
AMAZING
Psychological, intriguing, deep, compelling, and terrifying. This show kept me interested every episode. The cast was really great, the over all theme was really dark, and it was perfectly paced.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021)
Fun and entertaining, but still cringy
As a child, I was a super huge fan of Carnage, so I went into this movie with really high hopes. However, the movie was very cringy at some points, they lacked the carnage with Carnage, and they got rid of the excellent bond with Carnage and Cletus. The design for Carnage was really good though, and the fight scenes were cool.
The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
WOW
This movie is amazing! This movie even with its rating is still underrated. Spectacular movie. 20/10 if I could.
V for Vendetta (2005)
MY FAVORITE MOVIE
This movie is amazing. It really shows that nowadays you can't ever really trust the government. 20/10 if I could.
Malignant (2021)
Good, but had some parts that were a little weird
I thought that Malignant was pretty good. I definitely wouldn't say that it was the best movie ever, but still kept me entertained. I thought that the twist at the end was really cool and original. But there were some parts that were a little cheesy, like when the younger version of Maddie started talking through the older version, and how every time Gabriel was talking through something it seemed he always laughed after. Sometimes the acting felt a wooden, and the story felt kinda rushed, but other than that I really liked it. Wait till the end. It gets much better.
