About Time (2013)
"About Time" is a charming and heartwarming romantic comedy
About Time tells the story of Tim Lake (Domhnall Gleeson), a young man who discovers that he has the ability to travel back in time. He decides to use this power to improve his love life, but soon discovers that time travel is not as simple as it seems.
The film is a charming and heartwarming romantic comedy with a great cast. Domhnall Gleeson and Rachel McAdams have great chemistry together and their scenes are some of the highlights of the film. The supporting cast is also excellent, with Bill Nighy and Tom Hollander both standing out.
The film is beautifully shot, with some stunning locations. The Cornwall setting is particularly gorgeous.
The time travel element of the plot is handled well and is reasonably believable. There are some plot holes, but they are not major ones and they are easy to overlook.

The Social Network (2010)
The Social Network: A Fascinating Film About Betrayal
The Social Network is a fascinating film that tells the story of how Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg betrayed his business partners, the Winklevoss twins. The film is based on the book "The Accidental Billionaires" by Ben Mezrich, and it does a great job of depicting the cutthroat world of Silicon Valley.
The film begins with Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg) being interrogated by two detectives about a possible harassment charge. We then see flashbacks of how Zuckerberg created Facebook in 2004, and how he quickly rose to prominence in the tech world.
However, the film really picks up when the Winklevoss twins (Armie Hammer) hire Zuckerberg to help them create a social networking site for Harvard students. Zuckerberg agrees, but then proceeds to create Facebook instead. The twins are understandably upset, and the film follows their legal battle with Zuckerberg.
The film is very well-acted, and it's fascinating to see how Zuckerberg's cold, calculating nature helped him succeed in the tech world. However, it's also clear that he betrayed the trust of the Winklevoss twins, and the film leaves you wondering if his success is truly deserved.
Man on Wire (2008)
An exciting, edge-of-your-seat documentary about French high-wire artist Philippe Petit's 1974 walk between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center.
If you're looking for an exciting, edge-of-your-seat documentary, then look no further than Man on Wire. The film tells the story of Philippe Petit, a French high-wire artist who gained notoriety in 1974 when he walked between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center.
What makes Man on Wire so captivating is not only Petit's story, but also the behind-the-scenes look at how he and his team planned and executed the illegal stunt. The film is packed with tension and suspense, and you'll find yourself holding your breath as Petit makes his way across the wire.
The Red Ape Family (2021)
A Terrible Show and an Insult to Apes
"The Red Ape Family" is one of the worst shows I've ever seen.
Not only is it a terrible show, but it's also an insulting portrayal of apes. NFTs are a terrible idea, and "The Red Ape Family" is a perfect example of why. The show is nothing but a series of drawings, and it's clear that the only people who will enjoy it are those who hold the god awful NFTs.
Loudermilk (2017)
A Fun and Feel-Good Show About Friendship and Overcoming Challenges
Loudermilk is a hidden gem that warmed my heart. One of the things I loved most about Loudermilk was the humor. It was often crude and juvenile, but it was also clever and relatable. I found myself laughing out loud at many of the jokes, even if they were at the expense of the characters. The show also had its share of heartwarming moments, which helped balance out the crude humor. I loved the characters and their interactions with each other. They were all flawed and had their own issues, but they were also incredibly loyal and supportive of each other. It was a great show that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good laugh and some feel-good moments.
Another thing I loved about Loudermilk was the relatability factor. I think we've all been in a place in our lives where we've felt lost and uncertain of our future. The characters in Loudermilk all felt that way at times, and it was nice to see them struggle and ultimately overcome their challenges. I also appreciated the show's honest portrayal of addiction and mental illness. It's not always easy to talk about these things, but Loudermilk did so in a way that was respectful and informative.
Overall, I absolutely loved Loudermilk and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good laugh and some feel-good moments. The characters are lovable and relatable, the humor is clever and crude, and the show has a lot of heart. It's a hidden gem that I'm glad I discovered.
Sex Education (2019)
Hilarious but also touches on some heavy subjects!
I thoroughly enjoyed Sex Education. It was funny, relatable, and had great characters. The acting was superb, and the story was engaging. I loved the way the show dealt with sex and teenage awkwardness in a realistic way. It was refreshing to see a show that wasn't afraid to talk about sex openly and honestly. I would highly recommend this show to anyone looking for a good laugh and some great entertainment. The show deals with a lot of heavy topics, such as rape, abortion, and sexual assault. However, it also has a lot of lighthearted moments. The characters are all incredibly likable, and I found myself rooting for them throughout the show.
Overall, I absolutely loved Sex Education. It was funny, heartwarming, and had great characters. The story was engaging, and I was rooting for the characters the entire way through. I would highly recommend this show to anyone looking for a good laugh and some great entertainment.
The Office (2005)
The Office is a show that will always have a place in my heart.
The Office is one of the funniest shows on television. The show is about the everyday lives of employees working at the fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. The show is set up like a documentary, with the camera following the employees around as they go about their day-to-day lives. This gives the show a unique perspective that allows the viewer to feel like they are a part of the action.
The show is hilarious, thanks in large part to the amazing cast. The characters are all incredibly relatable and the situations they find themselves in are always funny. It is also a great show because it is not afraid to tackle serious subjects. The show has tackled everything from office politics to relationships to death. This makes the show feel more real and allows the viewer to connect with the characters on a deeper level.
Overall, The Office is an amazing show that is funny, relatable, and touching. If you have not seen the show, I would highly recommend it.
Intouchables (2011)
The Intouchables is an Uplifting Story About an Unlikely Friendship
The Intouchables is a heartwarming story about an unlikely friendship between a wealthy, white quadriplegic and his black ex-con caretaker. Despite their obvious differences, the two men form a deep bond that changes both of their lives forever.
The film is based on a true story, and it is clear that a lot of care and attention was put into making it as accurate and realistic as possible. The acting is superb, and the chemistry between the two main characters is simply undeniable.
The Intouchables is a feel-good movie that will leave you feeling inspired and hopeful. It is a must-see for anyone who enjoys a good story about friendship and human connection.
Catch Me If You Can (2002)
Catch Me If You Can - A Must-See Movie Starring Leonardo DiCaprio
Catch Me If You Can is a great movie with an even better performance by Leonardo DiCaprio. DiCaprio portrays the real-life con artist Frank Abagnale Jr. With such charm and charisma that it's hard not to be impressed. The movie is based on Abagnale's autobiography of the same name and follows his exploits as he poses as a pilot, doctor, and lawyer while cashing millions of dollars in fraudulent checks.
The movie is directed by Steven Spielberg and also stars Tom Hanks as FBI agent Carl Hanratty, who is hot on Abagnale's trail. The cat-and-mouse game that ensues is thrilling and suspenseful, and DiCaprio and Hanks have great chemistry together. The movie is a must-see, and DiCaprio is definitely the standout.
Outer Banks (2020)
Outer Banks is a must-watch for anyone who loves a good mystery.
I thoroughly enjoyed Outer Banks! It was a great mix of suspense, adventure, and romance. I loved the dynamic between the Kooks and the Pogues and how they were constantly at odds with each other. The treasure hunt was also a great plot device that kept me engaged throughout the entire show. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good show to watch.
Svart krabba (2022)
Svart krabba: A Disgrace to Swedish Cinema
Svart krabba is a disgrace to the Swedish movie industry, it is so slow and it is one of the most boring movies I have ever seen. There is no plot, no character development, and no action other than right at the start of the movie. The acting is terrible, and the directing is even worse.
I would not recommend this movie to anyone, not even if you are a fan of Swedish movies. It really is that bad.
Try again, this was a swing and a miss, it was about as entertaining as watching paint dry.
