When I started watching this Netflix series , I never knew I would binge watch and thats what happened. Series takes off from the word go! What starts off with a minor scuffle in a party which ends in an accident never seems to end with ever unwinding web of complex suspenseful details - unravelling one after another - that you cannot but wait to watch the next. Many " Edge of seat movements" is a special element in this series. Simple suggestion - complete all your work - switch off from any other stuff - Switch on this Series - and let 8 hours go un noticed.. Stunning & Amazing story , screen play , plot etc. Enjoyed every second of the series.

When I started the first episode - the initial attraction was about location along with the character introduction and the narration that moved from past to current with excellent ease leaving us to understand on our own and this episode ended with a good suspense which made me move to the second episode. Thus it started. I then binged to see the end. A great suspenseful story with equally great narration and screen play. All the characters played their part to the hilt. Its definitely a 9 in my reckoning.

After I saw the rating of 8.1 and various comments, thought that this movie would be extraordinarily good. Period. My own perception of the movie was it was like one of the "Old" James Bond movies and then and here and there it became like "Kill Bill" but since actions involved gadgets - it resembled spy kids too. It's an entertaining movie - definitely. Many of the actions were unbelievably over the top. Villainy was not exactly fearsome. Some of the actions were kiddies type and some were of Kill-Bill type. Last few scenes where they alter satellites were all of "Spy Kids" type and childish. Also the movie lacked depth in gadget showcasing. Controlling satellites and then showing percentage etc...were all like a TV discovery show. But do not get me wrong , the movie is largely entertaining...but the some versions of Spy Kids were also entertaining but kiddies' type. This is definitely not a "Kick Ass" type movie - which was a different class altogether. The similarity lies in "all crazy stuffs and actions happening.." That is all. But all these apart , "Colin Firth" was very good and even better than "Taron Egerton". In fact I felt , he is probably a better replacement to the old 007 legacy - "Roger Moore or Sean Connery "Can suggest watching once. You do not need any brain to watch this movie - just let it flow and relax.

WOW!.Whew! Did I see a movie?. Or witness different real life incidents with exclusive inside preview of why these happened?.Yes and it was exquisitely done. Six Tales - referred in the Argentinean language as "Savage Tales" may not refer to the tale itself as savage. The plot itself is very simple - revenge (savage revenge!) - the sudden impulse to give or take back in equal or multiplied proportion what was done to them. Anybody can do that - not necessarily a poor man in the street but can be a ultra modern civilized being in a perfectly civilized and urban setting!!!. There you go. But to what extent people go to extract revenge in a sudden impulsive movement?. And that is intriguing and deeply introspective. David Edelstein a film critic mentioned about this movie - "I'm guessing that the oldest subject in literature isn't love or war or the struggle for survival, but revenge.". This movie is about that and a thoroughly entertaining one at that. From the very first tale of the flight travel scene where everyone is shocked and surprised after gradually learning something till the last tale where the bride and bridegroom undergo the "till death do us apart" ceremony - it's a wild journey - edge of the seat engagement. My favorite Ricardo Darín as Simon the demolitions expert is a treat to watch.

Great movie. Thought that the current rate of 6.7 was not right for this movie. A male nurse Samuel Pierret (Gilles Lellouche) is being threatened to help move out his gangster patient out of hospital in exchange for his kidnapped pregnant wife. Meanwhile , two sets of cops are given this case of the gangster who was admitted to this hospital after he was chased. They are working to get into the depth of the case when Samuel and the gangster patient escape from the hospital. There is a chase from this scene on- cat & mouse and they have tried to retain the thrill of the chase till the closing credits. My comment is = Edge of the seat racy thriller. Actions are violent and realistic. The chases that happens in the film especially the one in the railway station looks too good and very real. The way Samuel pants and vomits at the end of the chase is so realistic that you feel that you also ran along with him. Twists and suspense are good. A good entertaining action cum thriller package. Enjoy. My rating is 8 / 10.

Here is a good movie. In fact very good movie. This is my 4th movie of Ricardo Darín. A good thrilling plot. A father "Sebastián"(Ricardo Darín) taking his children out along the lift. They enter into a playful agreement. Sebastián to let his kids take the stairs - all the way down while he himself take the lift. They bet that they will win the race. Well , here is the plot. The race starts all right but the children doesn't seem to have come down. It becomes more mysterious from here. A known environment suddenly becomes unknown. Performance of Ricardo is as usual of the highest level. To be honest , sequence following his awareness of his missing kids and this event coinciding with his client hearing - with the judge , his law firm team all waiting endlessly for him to come is all very neatly done. A nail biting - what next or now what?. And all of this unfolds one eventful morning. The director kept a good pace and also a good tight screen play. I would give a 7 plus for this. But the last finish was a complete let down for me. It was an excellent recipe made and thrown outside into a trash can. But surely - we get money's worth of thrill but end up unsatisfied and shocked more at the bland finish with everything building up so well. A good movie with an end wasted just like that is my comment. I give it 7 out of 10.

Sleep Tight. Well after seeing this movie - can one sleep tight?. The scenes in this movie surprised me a lot. Rather - a shocker. Its very creepy. Some of the scenes made me think - My God! - how much crooked can a person be?. But a good entertainment movie at that. It does not contain scenes that cause disgust in my view but can still shake you. I still need to understand the last scene. It may be interpreted in many ways I think. Great movie.Completely different thriller and mystery movie.Acting - Luis Tosar - carried the full movie along.Iris Almeida as the girl child (ursula) was also good as well. Only one thing - as I earlier said - I think the last ultimate scene can be read in many ways and am not sure which way the the director wanted or did I miss something?. Let me not give these out as these could be considered as spoilers.But all in all I would rate this movie 9 out of 10.Go ahead and watch this stuff.

I thought the Spanish movie "La cara oculta - The Hidden Face" was the best mystery/thriller I had seen ever. But here comes - El cuerpo - The Body. Mystery and Thrill - from start to finish. Not much to comment on the plot. A body from the morgue goes missing and a detective is onto it . That is the story. Plenty of undetectable twists .The mother of all twists is the last scene. That hits one after another and on the face. Enjoyed this thoroughly. Very good background music score. Very good photography and cinematography. Very good screen play. A buffet of treat.Thanks to you guys "Oriol Paulo and Lara Sendim" - Muchas gracias ! My rating is 9/10.

This movie is a treatise on life - may be one aspect of it. Everyone will watch the movie with a big smile all through - which is what happened to me. Nicely made and I guess also that many of us will relate to various scenes. I have seen people like Robert De Niro's character (Rupert Pupkin) in real life and hence I think Martin hit right on spot. Robert De Niro's performance is astounding and excellently convincing. He has gelled into this wanna-be stage comedian in this story and what a transformation! The scene where he waits at Jerry's office to meet him and looks at the ceiling now and then was portrait of life itself. The scene where he imagines himself with Jerry at the dinner. This was a feel good movie for some reason. Enjoyed the movie...8 / 10 from me.

Well ...Here is a movie that had a nice plot. An overnight hero who spoils the fun of gangsters in his stall and thus hailed by the small town is recognized by some other gangsters as one whom they have been searching for and wants revenge for his past actions!. Is this a case of mistaken identity or is this true?. Vigo and Maria Bello do a good job and so does other cast too. Screen play - not bad. But the whole point is movie unfolded in a predictable fashion and that was the only surprise - for this plot one expected lots of twists...could have been good. When the action sequence was expected after a tense situation (good screen play) - the actions actually fell very flat. It was disappointment for me. Can watch once with. My rating is 5 out of 10

Yet another Korean thriller. Twists after twists. How simple the plot is?. A mobile (Hand Phone) which has some voyeur stuff gets lost and stolen. Then follows the cat and mouse chase. I enjoyed this - moves at a true Korean swift pace. I liked the twists that kept appearing. I liked the way "Tae-woong Eom" gets worked up - very realistic - you seem to side with him - and his helplessness with the thief. Actions are brutal and some scenes are masculine-violent. That was neatly done. The mother of all twists was rendered very smoothly at the last scene just before the closing credit and it was too shocking for me. They just handed that in the end - very heart wrenching but true Korean style. I give it 8 out of 10.

I loved this movie from the word go!. Fast moving - great screen play and story unfolding. Special mention about dog fight - I don't know how they took some shots - it was good. Great entertainment even now. In this movie the greatest starring is played by fate. That decides everything and so in that sense everything just changes in just a second. And how that change affects three interconnected stories is very engrossing and meaningful. I personally felt that what Octavio was doing absolutely wrong and appreciate the way Susana did. She kept telling Octavio that she loves her husband no matter what!. Daniel's character was just perfect for the setting. El Chivo's character was the one which made more deep message for me. Valeria - the model's change after the accident and her crazy attraction for her pet dog - is very chilling because of the way the story was set. Amores Perros has meaning for any one. It makes one introspect. A must watch and my rating 10/10.

I am from India. I always used to think India and Brazil have great connection at least when the world calls these countries as "BRIC" economy and countries to watch out for. Well after seeing Central Station , I saw that Brazil is full of life - just like India - same dense population , same cut-throat living competition , every day existence driving goodness out of even among good people. I also saw that the Brazilian people were deeply religious as shown in movie and everywhere there were pictures of Mother - Mary. And all this when interwoven with the reality that the director Walter tried to paint , I liked the whole lot. I think the plot was good and touching but I do not think it was over stepped on sentimentality. It was just the correct doze. Fernanda Montenegro was a treat to watch. while story , the plot of a con-woman ( not intrinsically) interwoven with an young boy made orphan by a sudden twist of fate is good to watch with great scenarios of Brazil - I really fell in love with the background location - I felt that the movie moved a little slow. But then the director was in control and he delivered. This is a movie that one must watch at least once in life time. what type of genre is this movie ?. - It's about life - every day existence in every part of the world and not just Brazil. It can happen in US too - only that Hollywood do not have the courage to make these type of movies.... My rating - 8 /10. Reduced only for slowness

Let me say one thing. I give it 10 just for the apt realistic ending it is. It is not what I liked one little bit but then I give it to the director for catching us off-guard but this is a South Korean movie and this is EXACTLY what I expect from them - a twist that knocks everyone out. This is good. This is what I look for in a South Korean movie - something different from the usual "Hollywood Crafted Endings" - which I feel most of the time implanted into the movie. I saw the film yesterday night and it was running in my mind every time I woke up in sleep. I never thought that this would have such an impact on me.

About the story - this is a gangster film with lots of great violent fights - I thought initially that those fights reflected the title ...until the ending and then I felt the whole movie was like a gangster carnival.

See the movie - this will hit you...

It's been quite some time I wrote a review. I found that I seem to write a review only if I liked a movie and not otherwise. In this case , I do not know if I should be stating if I liked the movie as it is very strong because of its realistic portrayal. It's really that strong - am not sure if any girl or a lady can sit through the first few minutes of this film and make it to the end. If they do it would be good. Other than trafficking , the responsibility and love a brother shows for his little sister is shown nicely. The scenes look real without any "Taken" like actions etc. and that adds to this movie a lot and gives a gripping tension. Watch it till the end and the ending clearly relieves.

I have read some of the other reviews and was surprised about comments that mentioned Quentin had either lost touch or had reached his end of fame etc and I beg to differ. I feel this is one movie which thoroughly has Quentin Tarantino's stamp. Every chapter was good, engrossing and built enough tension for the story. Graphic violence - like I said - had Quentin Tarantino's stamp all over and I loved the reality behind that. Okay - the story , the screen play, the music , the violence , the plot and the sudden twists of events in the plot - like for example when Fredric meets Emma in the projector room - all are good. This movie can be seen twice or thrice as the dialog give it the special touch making us want to hear it again and again. My rate - 8 to 9.

First about Jodie Foster. She is one helluva ride throughout this movie. Memorable and unforgettable performance. I am unlikely to forget her expressions in many of the frames. Come to think of it, when I think of her acting today, I see only the same controlled delivery. She really carries this movie. About this movie. Very simple story and yet powerful. Plot is good and fits 1976 era of culture - when society probably was more restrictive to kids. Plot - Rynn Jacobs is a thirteen-year-old girl who lives in a secluded house that she and her father have rented in a quiet seaside community. Rynn's father is never seen by anyone even if people tried and doesn't seem to be around, and it seems as if the girl is all alone. Is this true? .Rynn's resourcefulness is put to the test as several people try to find out what she might be hiding, including the snobby landlady and her sleazy son. My rating – 10 /10.

First - this is not a horror movie. This may be scary to people if they knew before hand that this movie is about a young girl who suddenly vanished and never again appeared. The plot looks good. But the way it unravels after the guy finds out his wife vanished is highly debatable. If somebody's wife was kidnapped by some person, would he travel around with that kidnapper in a car sipping coffee with him even if the kidnapper offered a ride? Would he talk to him so that the kidnapper could psyche him out? Would he have anything to do with him at all? Well these are highly debatable. Mostly I feel that this movie wove a story so unrealistic at important places so as to create the "wow" or the unexpected. Okay –but is the movie engrossing and engaging you right from the beginning? Yes - true. Surely the viewer would sit from the beginning till the end of the movie - so as to just know - what happened to the girl - just like her boy friend - Rex?. Go and watch it. It's highly engrossing. My rating for this alone is 7 out of 10.

The movie is too good. Your mind will relate to it 100 % from the very first scene. Some adjectives I can easily use to describe this movie - "Shocking","Horrifying" ,"Realistic" ,"Superb" , "Excellent", "Scary" ,"Frightening" etc. Weak hearted need to surely skip this movie. It is definite to increase their BP and pulse rate. I liked this movie a lot. I might have liked a different ending. But no kidding - the actual ending is perhaps more realistic. The plot in simple words. A to be couple end up near a scenic lake for their holiday. It is isolated but the guy has chosen it because very soon the entire area will be lost to developers. When they actually reach the place, the place is already fenced by the developers. Anyways, once there, the two meet some kids who seem to belong to the area. The engagement between them becomes dark and violent as the movie proceeds. The rest is for the folks to watch.My rating is surely 10 out of 10.

Great Movie. Great Story and Great Narration. Just to state the fact that this movie produces in abundance feelings of passion , lust , romance , humor, anger ,extreme pathos and sadness will still dilute the actual poignancy and thrill this movie produces. It is a great different feeling - that this movie gives. Monica Belluci - exquisite delicate beauty and acting in one. Renato Amoroso - amazing. Giuseppe Tornatore - Great director - what an engrossing emotional drama he has woven?. Though we get to see the movie through the eyes of Renato , Renato himself tries to view everything in Malena's eyes , so to speak and that's the beauty. Renato shares Malena's feelings, her sadness and the injustice meted out to her.Great I rate this 10 out of 10. A definite delicacy!

Have no words to describe this masterpiece. "Naan Kadavul" may offer different kind of feeling to everybody -am sure. But all I want to say is that "This Is A true Indian Movie". This movie must be nominated for Oscars and wish that the world takes note of it. This is good for the world at large and since this was created in India, it will have to follow the same fate of every other immortal classic that was done in India Viz..."No recognition at large" unless the world gives the recognition. It created in me the same sorry feeling when I knew - Vedanta, Mahabharata or any other immortal spiritual classics was produced in India. They will never be acknowledged great unless world looks at it. ...

About this movie - what happens when an enlightened man living all his life with his guru and as a complete recluse and practicing the teachings taught; is suddenly taken by providence to his birth place. There is this sudden clash...A man beyond the world impacted with not just the world but with the harsh and depraved part of the world. Bala explains thereafter with extreme fragility and immense knowledge of spirituality. Thanks to you Bala...you have proved once again.

This is a good movie...no doubt. The story absolutely belongs to Chetan Bhagat. Wish a writer's forum in US or any other developed part of the world takes notice of this. A writer's story taken but disowned systematically for what ever reason. This can happen only in India. Chetan Bhagat - the author of "5 Point Some One" is the one who deserves credit.

I do not know if any one can take another person's property and disown him systematically like the way it happens in India.

Frieda Pinto if she acted in a Hindi Movie Industry , she would have been systematically plotted against...

Movie is very good...all credits to all the actors. But please the story belongs to Chetan - The new Age Indian Author

Excellent movie with a great message but tinged with side splitting comedy.Adam Sandler - He is the best.I never thought that I would see him cast and act this way but he did it folks. To all those who want to laugh like a riot, relax like a bear this is the movie.Every cent worth. I saw this movie in British Airways on my return to US and this movie blasted my boredom, pain of sitting in the flight for more than 10 hrs. Another message in the movie is about the Arabs(Palestinians) and the Jews.I want to add more but cannot as I do not want my name to be black listed. All - Please do see the movie if you want to laugh ,laugh and laugh

Ashley Judd is very beautiful and apt for this role. The way she characterizes a wife,a mother and an victim is too good. Hats off to Ashley Judd. After Elizabeth Taylor ,I like the acting skill of this fine women. Ppl - watch this movie.Its a nice dose of suspense,romance and dose of other emotions as well and Ashley Judd did her best. The story is subtle. Good screen play. Good direction. All in all good investment of time. Watch it for Ashley.They say that this movie has some issue in the legal interpretation of some legal point but I think that it has no relevance to the movie in so far as the way the screen play is done.I believe that the movie doesn't weigh on that interpretation alone as the climax just sinks into us without that gravity. I personally think though the story is good,Ashley carried it excellently well and an extremely delicate one at that. Infinite thanks to this beauty of an actor and a person. Thanks all.
