First off let me say that this has to be on the top of my list of boring movies. Nothing, and I mean nothing in this movie is even remotely thrilling. Most of it is very confusing and as it progresses you just wish it would end!! Some people want a movie that makes them "think" through the entire thing, to which I say..."More power to you"!! I on the other hand just want to be entertained. Which brings me back to this stinker, entertainment it is not. This movie is stupid and a complete waste of time. Seems that most here agree also. Most of this didn't make any sense, and by the time you think you have one scene figured out another lame scene comes around and....well I guess you see where this is going. Avoid, this one sucks....bad!!

What a pleasant surprise this was. I caught this one day on Showtime and really didn't give it much of a chance. But I was so wrong!! Powerful performance by Irma P. Hall (as Aunt T.), and Robert Duvall is at his best as well. Wonderfully acted and written, this has to be the best movie I have seen in a long while. Sure, the same old southern stereotypes are portrayed as well as the same for the inner-city black culture, with many being quite accurate. Some parts were a little over the top, like the birthday party in the bar that Earl crashes as a total stranger. But that being said, not a lot of negatives I can say about this movie.

This is, by far, the worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life!! I actually bought this garbage (silly me). After I started to watch it I kept giving this movie the benefit of the doubt, hoping it would pick up a little, to become even average. But no, it didn't get any better. It sucked when it started and sucked all the way to the end of this nightmare. I can't say anything about this clunker that has not already been said, other than someone (one of the "actors") posted that a group of college kids at MSU were talking about a good spring break movie and come to find out they were talking about this stinker? So, I gave this movie to my son who is in college and asked him to watch it and let his friends watch it to see how they liked it. Verdict......he brought it back and said that without a doubt, 100% of the ones that watched it said it was pure garbage!!! Not a single person liked it, not one and most of them wouldn't watch the entire thing it was so stupid. I read here that there may possibly be a sequel?? God I hope it's better than this stinker, but it couldn't get any worse.

I went in not expecting a lot from this movie, but actually was pleasantly surprised. Resembling parts of "The Ring" and "Sixth Sense", although not as good as those, it has it's moments. In fact, it had some very creepy moments in it. But I do have to admit that in some parts it was really hard to follow, and all the flashback scenes got old. Not your typical haunted house movie, although it takes a while to start to understand exactly what the hell is going on. One thing that I had trouble with was parts where the young girl(s) hear something upstairs, where it is dark and creepy, and they have to go investigate instead of getting the hell out of there. Go figure!!

With a cast like this, you would think that you would be watching a fairly decent movie. Wrong on this one. I love Samuel L. Jackson, I think he is one of the best actors today, but this movie suck ass big time and even big Sam couldn't save it. Ashley Judd was awful. In fact, just about all the dialogue in this movie sucked!! There was absolutely nothing in this movie even remotely believable. The plot is so far out there it is almost comical. In fact, it is more comical than it is thrilling; that's how bad this movie sucks. For instance, given the benefit of the doubt on the first coincidence (man she screwed turns up murdered), I really believe after the second hound she screwed turned up murdered that she as an inspector would be removed from the case. Unless they worked for a crooked commissioner who also.....well, I won't give it away, watch the movie.....at your own risk!!

I think they should change the title to this movie to Summer of Ignorant Morons!! What a boring, no brain movie! What was billed as a movie about the Son of Sam murders in NYC turned out to be a mini-porno movie. Trying to keep up with this is like trying to sleep through a root canal. Who in the hell wants to sit through over 2 hours watching a gang of punks and how they lived in the summer of '77 in NYC? Oh, and every now and then the actual murders would be thrown in, I guess to try to keep true to the actual billing. Didn't work. What I can't understand is why in the hell would you make a movie like this, which in fact has nothing to do with the Son of Sam murders, and try to connect it with the murders? Pure Garbage!!

Once again I took a chance and rented this bag of crap. Billed as a horror flick, there wasn't one scene, not one, that was even remotely scarey. NOT ONE!! Sure there was some nudity, but all the lesbian action got a little old. I guess maybe that was suppose to be this movie's saving grace? And Dan, what an annoying ass bag!! Right from the beginning I knew I was in for it when good ol' Dan first spoke. And he was suppose to be intimidating? What a laugh!! All in all, this movie is dreadfully awful! How in the hell do movies like this get made? If you want a movie with a few thrills in it, don't rent this one. This movie is about as thrilling as the Teletubbies.

Where do I begin? What a damn waste of money and time!! This has to be one of the worst movies of all time!! Some of the lamest acting I have ever seen. Worst directed movie of all time! Scenes that go nowhere, like the stupid biting boy the knows karate. What in the hell was that all about? Don't waste your time on this piece of crap!! Awful!

There you have it. A giant bug movie, nothing more. Of course this is not going to be another "Alien". It is about giant mosquitos killing people. Although I have seen better, I sure have seen a lot worse also. Might be worth a rent, if not to get a laugh or two.

This one sort of drags out, but toward the end it picks up a little. Although I was hoping for a little more action, this did not disappoint too much. Actually this has a pretty good story to it, I just think it could've had so much more.

What a tremendous waste of time this was. I would rather sit by myself and watch paint dry than watch this mess. It is unreal how bad a movie can be, but watch this one and you'll see a complete and total piece of sh*t!! I would have hated to have me name associated with this piece of work. I won't go on and tell anything about this nightmare, 'cause it really doesn't matter. I will end by saying, "IT SUCKS"!!

Having lived in L.A. in 1985, I can tell you that this bad film in no way attempts to tell the real story. No one in the summer of '85 in and around L.A. kept their window up at night. Everyone, men as well as women, were scared to death. What this film does is trivialize all of this for a buck. Nothing in this film is even close to what happened. The heavy metal background music gave me a headache. The acting was awful, and, what a mess. If you want to know the real story behind the killings in L.A. in 1985, keep an eye on A&E channel. They did a really good documentary on the Nightstalker, which covered his childhood up until his conviction. But stay away from this piece of garbage.

Great acting all about this movie, just finding one part of it believable is the trouble. Yeah, I know, it's only entertainment, but hey, at least some of it can be believable. To say that anyone could talk eleven people into robbing a casino without telling anyone is highly unlikely. But I have to admit, it was a fun movie to watch. Nice to see the underdog come out ahead. I would recommend this.

I have to admit, I bought this movie for my son, who is also a snare drummer in high school marching band. I really didn't hold out much hope that I would actually enjoy this one at all. But, oddly enough, I really did enjoy watching this movie. I don't know why, but it kind of "grew" on me. The acting was good and the story was good also. Some of the scenes were a little predictable, but overall I would recommend this one.

Bad acting was only one reason this movie sucks ass. What a complete waste of time to watch this dreadful piece of sh*t!! Who would have thought that "Benson" would stoop so low as to "act" in a crappy movie like this. And Christopher Atkins needs to go back to the Blue Lagoon. He sucked as well. Oh, and how many times did we actually get to see this Jersey Devil? Hell, he made probably about three appearances in the whole damn movie. Good thing though, it was totally comical when you did get to see him. And Michelle Maryk, she was absolutely awful. Her enthusiasm just overwhelmed me throughout this nightmare. She looked and acted just like what she drove around in, a dull, pale old VW Bug!! Avoid this one at all costs.

Watch this and you too will see that Anna Nicole Smith has no acting ability at all. The only thing she adds to this movie is big boobs and that's it. Throughout this movie, the acting is dreadful. And at the time when Anna was starting to put on a lot of her weight, she was hefty here, and that's putting it lightly. Stay away from this movie. Do not rent this just for Anna Nicole Smith.

Story of four friends growing up in the ghetto, with one going "nuts" on the others. Really good performances by Epps and Shakur, and Hopkins gives great comic relief at times. Eerie seeing Bishop gradually turning more and more evil and bloodthirsty. A lot of action and violence here, but hey, it's only entertainment, right?

Actually has to be one of the best movies I have seen. Great acting and great story. The daily struggle of a single father trying his best to raise his only son in crime-ridden L.A., and the obstacles that are in his way daily. Gangs, guns and violence are on the menu daily for Tre's friends, and in the end the most unlikely and undeserving one of all gets "smoked". Really a good watch.

I first seen this on HBO in the early "80's and fell in love with it then and still love it now, some 19 years later. What a heart-warming tale of a widowed mother trying to raise her only son after "PA" passes away. Pa didn't leave them much, but they made do on what they had. Really a classic and a must see for every child and adult. I just loved the songs in this movie, they were classics in themselves. Even today, at the Christmas season, I still watch this movie, but now I watch it with my son.

Although I have to admit I'm not a fan of Stern at all, actually I think his show stinks, this was a funny movie to watch. Howie didn't do too bad in this, as well as his co-horts from the show. Although the bits in between scenes with that jackass big mouth trying to get girls to take their tops off was annnoying as hell, the rest of the movie was very entertaining. Fast forward to the present, I guess Allison finally got tired of Howard and his antics, for they are now separated. Sorry Howie!!

Not a bad watch for a late saturday night. This one had its share of thrills and twists, but I have to admit it did get a little stupid towards the end. Pretty good special effects and the acting was good also. You can see the comparison though to the Alien series, but who cares.

What a bore!! I tried to watch all of this, just to see if it was ANYTHING like the book. Of course, it isn't. Not even close. Hollywood once again tries to sugarcoat a turd, and not even sugar could keep this one from stinking.

Pretty good movie, with Eastwood playing Gunny Highway, a crusty old Marine Corps. DI. But let's leave it at that. Just about every other scene in this is absolutely silly, just plain dumb. I mean, I can assure you, having been there myself, that Marine Corps. training is nothing like depicted in this movie. Recruits falling out in formation with wild ass looking hair and earrings? Yeah, right! But, hey it was 1986, what do you expect?

Really catchy, well acted movie, again with the cold war, nuclear doomsday subject well out in front. Here, a geeky teenage boy just about causes nuclear war between the two super-powers by hacking into the computer to play games. Pretty much the standard stuff at that time, but without giving the movie away here, pretty damn good. I would watch it again, hell, I might even watch it tonight!

I first watched this movie when I was around 8 years old, and then it scared the hell out of me. Not so much anymore. But nonetheless, it is a classic in its own right. It was what it was in 1972 and it is still a hell of a lot better than most of the garbage Full Moon puts out.
