Boomtown (2002–2003)
Very interesting, engrossing...
29 September 2002
I was skeptical of becoming interested in another cop/lawyer show, but this one is nothing like Law & Order or any other show. It tells each character's perspective and backstory, and has different points of view. It was very intriguing. I plan on watching it again next Sunday. Donnie Wahlberg and Neal McDonough were both outstanding in their parts. All the other cast members were excellent. Let's hope the intrigue keeps up!

Good effects, good casting, but...

was disappointed with some plot holes, lackluster acting by Nancy Travis. Wish Julian Sands had more dialogue and impact on the story, I like this actor very much. The effects are great!!!!!!! It's worth checking out, rent it but don't need to buy it. Once is enough. I'll pick The Stand or The Shining over this anyday.

The Young Riders (1989–1992)
Miss this show tremendously
31 August 2002
This show was awesome. One of the best of the early 90's. I had the hugest crush on Ty Miller, where did he go? :( I miss him! I'm glad that Josh Brolin, Melissa Leo, Don Franklin, Stephen Baldwin, and Brett Cullen still have good careers going, but where did the others go?? I especially adored Yvonne Suhor, who played Louise McCloud. SIghhhhhhh...... I hope the whole series is on DVD someday. :)

Aliens (1986)
10/10
One of the very few movies that can.....
3 August 2002
make me truly tense watching it, biting my nails, feeling all jumpy and suspicious.

I have had nightmares of aliens popping out of my friends & family's chests, and I rarely get scared from movies. This definitely shakes me to my core.

I truly hope there are nothing like these aliens out there. James Cameron is to be commended for doing a superb job making it so believeable. Sigourney Weaver is a splendid actress, and the supporting actors are just as wonderful.

I gave this a 10 for being able to SCARE ME!

Man....... what can I start to say? It was stunning. Speilberg and Cruise rock!!!!!! Great story, awesome effects, totally twisted ending, man, it left me satisfied!!!!! I look forward to more corrobations between Speilberg and Cruise.

Very unoriginal love story
15 March 2002
Absolutely, utterly, exasperatingly unoriginal!!!!!!! I love John Cusack so that's why I forked over 7 bucks to see this. Came out uninspired. Scenery was nice, but the plot and story was blah. Already very predictable within the first five minutes.

Gave this a 7 for a weak attempt, John Cusack, and the scenery of sweet New York City.

Pearl Harbor (2001)

Yuk. Only liked one part...
15 March 2002
Only liked the part where all the action was, the seemingly realistic bombing of Pearl Harbor. The rest of the movie was just filler for running time and ripping off hard earned money.

Gave this just a 6 for the good special effects and the bombing, sorrowful parts of brave men dying.....

Enjoyable film
15 March 2002
This movie was very enjoyable. But it's not exactly just a comedy, it's a drama about how things can easily go wrong. I actually was mad at Pam's unwillingness to help Greg stand up against her father. I didn't like that part. But I couldn't help laugh at the mishaps Greg went through! Pleasantly surprised at Robert De Niro's comic acting.

Gave this a 8.
