A Clockwork Orange (1971)
and what was it that was so disturbing and shocking?
maybe in the '70's this movie was a shocker though i found it to be less of a jaw-dropper and more of a comedy. sure, the rape scenes were a bit offensive at best; but so what? i thought the Beethoven and treatment scene was the cruelest. other than that, i found it to be a ho-hum, not too interesting, and over-rated. i wouldn't not recommend it, but i wouldn't recommend it - let alone spooge over it.
5/10
Masters of the Universe (1987)
almost all of you should be ashamed of yourselves...
"great movie"? "excellent"? "wonderful acting"? What the heck were you people thinking? So far, sickink2's comment is the only one that has pegged it dead on the nose (though i'd give only give the movie a 2...maybe a 2 1/2 for some of it's hillarity). The movie was like a train wreck: it was a horrible thing to watch, but i just couldn't look away. it should've never scored higher than a 3.5. and if, god forbid, they make a sequel or remake - do the poor beloved cartoon some justice and stick to it's cast of character's and their struggles. GEEEEEZZZZ.

It's not as bad as they say
Yes, the stobing made me a bit dizzy, but the plot twists and turns were very enjoyable. Warning: SPOILER AHEAD. As to some "plot holes" that others have mentioned - i.e., why didn't they perform a test to prove his innocence - watching the movie one can conclude that they probably already did while he was drugged hence why they were so certain. I would readily recommend this movie to anyone, despite what the other comments claim.
