Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! (1999 Video Game)
9/10
A great game.
29 March 2009
Spyro 2 is a very good game. It isn't as good as the other two, but it is still fun and original. An ugly creature named Ripto wants to bring evil to prevent Spyro from vacationing at Dragon Shores. If you are a fan of Spyro, this is a must-buy. I like all the levels, and the game is also fun because if you don't know how to play a mini-game in one level, you might be able to figure it out another day (such as I did with that mini-game in Hurricos). I recommend this game to any kind of gamer, even if you hate cute or adventure games, you should still give this and the other PsOne Spyro titles a chance.

Spyro: Year of the Dragon (2000 Video Game)
10/10
An absolutely wonderful, nostalgic game
29 March 2009
Spyro: Year Of The Dragon to this day remains my favorite game. Everything about it is great. The graphics, the levels, the mini-games, the music, the characters, and everything else. It is without a doubt the PsOne's best game, and the best game in the Spyro series, after Insomniac stopped making them and the games were taken over by a different company who made them terrible, hard, and just stupid. Spyro Year Of The Dragon is a wonderful platformer that I prefer over Ape Escape any day. You should definitely play this game, so screw Ape Escape and any other PsOne platform game that isn't in the Spyro series.

Spyro the Dragon (1998 Video Game)
9/10
A very good game for puzzle and adventure fans.
29 March 2009
Spyro The Dragon is the first game in the unbeatable Spyro series (well, it was only unbeatable when it was on the PsOne), and it really delivers. Unfortunately, unlike the other Spyro games, there is very little dialog, and pretty much the only characters that talk are Spyro and dragons you free from stone by walking up to them, but the game makes up for that and a few other flaws by its amazing and fun game-play,and the worlds and characters beautiful animation. The music also is great, and I think you should definitely play this game if you are a fan of Spyro or just fun action adventure games.

Zoey 101 (2005–2008)

A stupid teen show
28 March 2009
Zoey 101 is such a stupid show. I don't know if that's because the snooty Jamie Lynn Spears is the prissy star of it or what, but I just know that the show sucks. It's about a girl and her brother who go to a boarding school. The jokes in this show are extremely dull and unfunny, and I hate every single character except Chase and Lola. Heck, the jokes on this show are so unfunny that they make Jack Black look like Monty Python. This show is without a doubt one of the worst shows on Nickelodeon, it's right down there with Avatar and Danny Phantom in the pit of shame, and if this show was a person with any honor, it would hang itself in shame.

This show crushes Zoey 101
28 March 2009
It's way way funnier than the stupid teen show Zoey 101. The acting is good, the humor is good, and it's just overall better than Zoey 101. It's about this obnoxious girl named Carly and her friend Sam and her friend Freddie. They make their own web show, which is stupid, but as random as Monty Python's Flying Circus. This show is probably the only decent show on Nickelodeon nowadays, since they canceled all of the good shows such as Jimmy Neutron. If you like Miranda Cosgrove, watch this. If you hate Miranda Cosgrove, then don't watch it, because this show is funny to me, but it could be considered stupid to many others, so watch out.

Drake & Josh (2004–2007)

It's just not that funny anymore.
28 March 2009
Drake And Josh used to be one of my favorite shows on Nickelodeon, and I watched it whenever it was on. That's probably the reason I'm only giving it a 6 right now, because I watched it too much, because it just doesn't seem that funny anymore. Even Megan's antics to torture Drake and Josh are getting old, and that's probably because Nickelodeon canceled it, because trust me, if this show was still on the air I would probably be giving it a 10 right now, which stinks. I also think that it's because Nickelodeon plays the same episodes too much, which get boring after about 4 watches. Really, this show should just give up now.

A terrible spin off of a lousy movie.
28 March 2009
There are 8 letters to describe this show, H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E. It is not at all funny, and is just stupid. It seems like farm animals and 8 year olds made up this show, because it's really stupid and terrible. It's about animals on a farm that like to party and goof off when the farmer isn't around. Not a good concept, which is why I think an 8 year old is the director. I never, ever laugh at this show, unless I'm laughing for not good reasons because the show is so stupid and boring. You do not want to watch this show, trust me, unless you are stuck with one channel on your TV and this is what's on, and even then I'd just find something to do by myself.

The Game Plan (2007)
3/10
Too much of a chick flick, The Rock is the only man thing about it.
28 March 2009
Warning: Spoilers
The Game Plan is a rather silly movie about an arrogant football player who learns he has a daughter. Stupid concept, right? Right. The movie gets dumber and dumber. In the end, the kid gets an allergic reaction to peanuts and almost dies, but doesn't so The Rock gets custody of her and marries her ballet teacher. This movie was just very stupid, and set towards girls age 5 and up. You can tell that The Rock was put in the movie so families weren't totally turned off by it, which was sneaky and didn't work. I just do not like this movie, and don't think it deserves a lot of critical praise.

Blue's Clues (1996–2007)

I love this show and I'm not even a baby!
28 March 2009
Blues Clues was one of my favorite shows growing up. It still is. Well, the episodes with Steve anyway. It is a very good show for preschoolers beginning to learn. Steve plays games to find 3 paw prints that Blue has hidden in various places (on a cloud, on a jar, etc). Preschoolers will have a great time helping Steve find the clues, and Steve really has to return to the show because Joe took over. I think parents will like this show too, because I'm not a little kid but I still love it. I recommend this show to anyone, because it rocks and is fun to interact with.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (2008 Video Game)
10/10
Makes the other 2 games look like Superman 64
28 March 2009
Super Smash Bros Brawl is the best Super Smash Bros game in the series. It has pretty much an endless amount of unlock-ables, and is fun overall. You can fight in tons of arenas, such as a take on the original Donkey Kong, Sonic The Hedgehog's Green Hill Zone, and many others. Some characters include Donkey Kong, Wario, Lucario, Bowser, Solid Snake, R.O.B., and Sonic. Unlike the other Super Smash Bros games, there is an extra powerful attack you can unlock that varies for each character called Final Smash, relating to the characters' original games, which make game-play even more exciting and fun. Therefore,I guarantee that you will be hooked for months trying to unlock all the characters, stages, and everything else that can be unlocked.

A great musical comedy.
28 March 2009
I love this movie. The catchy songs like "Time Warp","Sword Of Damocles" and others are memorable and fantastic, and so is the story line. It's about an engaged couple whose car breaks down, so they go to a castle for assistance, where they meet the sweet transvestite from Transsexual Transylvania, Dr. Frank N Furter, who is working on a buff man. The acting is great, Susan Sarandon, Tim Curry, Barry Bostwick, and everyone else is great, which helps this movie. I want to see it in theaters, but I can't seem to stay up until midnight to see it! This is a great film, and is really enjoyable.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002 Video Game)
5/10
It's pretty fun, but...
28 March 2009
Vice City is the GTA game made after Grand Theft Auto 3, and it's not the best one. The main character is one of the coolest in the series, but I really dislike it for two reasons. One, the city is too small. I end up wandering the same areas over and over again, which gets boring even when you are driving or shooting people. Second, this game's graphics aren't as good. The textures are kind of blocky, and I noticed some ghosting on my copy of it (it happens very rarely, though). So actually, even though I gave GTA 3 and Vice City the same score, I technically like GTA 3 better, since the city isn't really small in that one and it's just more fun overall.

Grand Theft Auto III (2001 Video Game)

Good, but not the best GTA game
28 March 2009
Grand Theft Auto 3 is a slight disappointment to me. It is fun, has cool weapons, and if you throw a grenade at a gang, the result is very satisfying. However, I do not like this game much for the following reasons.

One- I don't like that you start the game out having a mission. Some missions are fun, but I don't like being forced to do one, especially in the beginning of the game.

Two- It's just not as fun as San Andreas and GTA 4. This one gets boring for me after about a week, whereas San Andreas and 4 can keep me hooked for months.

Therefore, it's really your choice if you want to buy this game, but I recommend buying San Andreas first, because this one is kind of boring.

Grand Theft Auto IV (2008 Video Game)
10/10
A very good sequel to the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
28 March 2009
GTA 4 is probably the most highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto game ever. It also had quite a few delays (which I'm still kind of mad about, by the way), and it was worth the long, boring wait. GTA 4 really delivers, and well the graphics, oh my God, the graphics look more beautiful and realistic than ever, which is a helping quality that launched this game into stardom. The sound is also great, and this is the only Grand Theft Auto that I actually played through some missions for. This game is a classic, hands down, even though I think it is a bit overrated.

Way better than Liberty City Stories.
28 March 2009
After the horrible letdown of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Rockstar Games decides to release a better version of Vice City, which is the portable Vice City Stories. This game is much better, and the graphics are improved. Also, the city in Vice City Stories seems a lot bigger than it was in Vice City, and the game-play doesn't get boring as easily as it did in Vice City and Liberty City Stories. The only cons I can think of are aiming your gun, and weak missions. Otherwise it's pretty fun, and it makes Vice City look super boring, which it kind of is. If you are a fan of Grand Theft Auto, you should definitely check this game out.

Warning: Do not buy this game if you enjoy having fun.
28 March 2009
I was hoping for a nice, solid portable Grand Theft Auto ever since I first played Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas a while back. Well, God must've known this and have been against me, because this is the terrible portable Grand Theft Auto I get. It is not at all fun to me, and is only worth buying if you really want a portable Grand Theft Auto, but in that case, you should buy Vice City Stories, and not this crummy game. It's more dull and boring than anything, and makes the Grand Theft Auto franchise look stupid. It is a terrible game that even the most die-hard fan of Grand Theft Auto will despise.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004 Video Game)
10/10
Probably the most fun PS2 game ever made.
28 March 2009
GTA: San Andreas is a great game. It is very fun, unique, and is the kind of game you will become addicted to. The main character, C.J. (which stands for Carl Johnson) says some hilarious stuff, such as "Nobody punches CJ!" Classic. Anyway, you can use cheat codes to get lots of weapons to terrorize innocent civilians with, drive around in a stolen car, evade the police, or just explore the enormous world given to you. This game is definitely a classic, and is the best in the Grand Theft Auto series, and one of the best games on the PS2, which is why I think this game deserves a perfect score, because it's simply brilliant.

Gremlins (1984)
7/10
A great movie with a lot of heart, humor, and ugly little monsters
28 March 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Gremlins is a fantastic movie. I really like it. The plot to it is that an inventor goes to a Chinese street market and buys a cute, furry little creature called a mogwai for his son Billy. It multiplies into monsters called Gremlins, which terrorize the town. See, just reading the plot makes it sound great. The deaths are actually humorous (such as when a mean lady gets launched out her window by the Gremlins.) and so is the movie. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect 10 is that it can get old after a while, and in my opinion isn't the best dark comedy ever made.

This movie is more stupid than funny.
28 March 2009
The first Gremlins movie was great. It combined humor with thrills, and was a good movie overall. Gremlins 2, however, was not. It tried so desperately to be as good as the original (such as the girl gremlin hitting on that guy near the end) but in the end just came out being foolish and boring. The movie is not terrible, but it is not good either, and I bet if they made this movie more like the first Gremlins, then I would be giving it a perfect score right now. But no, they had to screw it up. The only thing that brought this movie a lot of money was Brian Gremlin and the Gremlins' antics, and even those get poor after awhile.

Barney & Friends (1992–2010)

I can't believe how badly this show got slaughtered
28 March 2009
OK, when I was little (and I mean like 2 or 3, not 6 and 7) Barney was one of my favorite shows. I then grew out of it and threw all my old Barney tapes away. So one day as I'm flipping through channels, I see that Barney now takes place in a caboose, and I thought "Um huh is this the right show?" Once I realized it was, I freaked. Why did they change the show's setting from a school to a CABOOSE? Ever since then, the show has been absolutely terrible, and the only reason I'm giving it a 2 is a) because I'm nice, b) because of Riff, and c) because in the old times the show was tolerable. Now I just hate it. HATE IT.

ALF (1986–1990)

An excellent show that needs to be remembered more.
28 March 2009
ALF is a classic comedy show from the 80s that I discovered online. I watched an episode, and became an instant fan. All of the actors are good in this show, and Paul Fusco does a great job as the voice of ALF. As great as this show is, it was still canceled in 1990, so in my opinion this show is great, and should be resurrected. It's funny, clever, and original, and deserves more recognition because of this. Now it is one of my favorite live-action shows, and I'd be ecstatic if there were more seasons, because after all, Sesame Street has been on the air for 40 years.

Yo Gabba Gabba! (2007–2020)
1/10
A very odd show (and not in a good way)
28 March 2009
Yo Gabba Gabba is without a doubt the strangest show ever made for preschoolers. Flamboyant host DJ Lance helps toddlers improve their kinesthetic skills, but this show is extremely weird, and not at all in a good way.

First off, the characters. A blue cat-like thing, a pink flower creature, a red thing what I don't know (and don't want to know) what it's supposed to be, a green furry thing, and a robot with one of the most annoying voices ever.

Second, the songs. The songs are very rarely soothing and likable, which is a shame, because they easily could be. "Party In My Tummy" is a great example of how weird and slightly disturbing the songs in this show can get.

And that's pretty much it. Therefore, I do not recommend this show to any parent. Have your child watch Blues Clues or something else decent for preschoolers.

A very good and funny spoof of medieval movies that has its flaws
26 March 2009
Warning: Spoilers
The Holy Grail is a classic comedy film that spoofs medieval times, made by troupe Monty Python. This movie definitely has its funny moments (especially the 2 stupid knights guarding the room), and has some ingenious ideas for comedy. (i.e. a brief intermission) But there are a few cons about this movie. One, the ending. Why did Sir Lancelot, King Arthur, and Sir Bedevere get arrested by a bunch of cops? This was a big disappointment to me, because I was expecting King Arthur to you know, like, find the Grail. Second, the movie gets a little boring at times (not boring like you want to turn it off, but just bored). And that's pretty much it.

Tim Burton, you've done it again
26 March 2009
Warning: Spoilers
This is a very good movie. I mean, Paul Reubens does a great job as Pee-Wee Herman, who gets his coveted bike stolen from him. At first he thinks that this arrogant blond kid named Francis took it (dumb name, huh?) but finds out he's wrong after attacking him when he's taking a bath. So he embarks on a trip to get back his bike. The Pee-Wee Herman humor is hilarious, and when he laughs, you laugh. Simple as that. This movie deserves more recognition, and P.S. Tim Burton directed it, which makes it even better, since Tim Burton is a genius in movie-making. I had no problems with this movie, you can just watch it again and again without getting bored.

The best show ever
26 March 2009
South Park is the best. I love everything about it. The hilarious characters, the good animation, the excellent humor, and anything else about it that I haven't mentioned. Hence my name, you can tell I am a big fan of this show. I love all the episodes, especially the Imaginationland trilogy, made into a made for TV movie basically. The show is without a doubt one of my favorites, and I really don't care who knows it or not. South Park is great. The only episodes I really hated were "Stanley's Cup" and "Major Boobage", but the rest of the series is pure gold.
