Wolf Like Me (2022– )

Great fun! Amazon got it right here.

Despite the daughter being absolutely disrespectful and annoying, the rest of the show is amazing. I am rivetted by Isla Fisher's character and story. Josh Gad comes off as bumbling but his story eventually resonates. The Kismet aspect is what makes the show and the performances make it shine. Bravo. Love it.

So far so good!

I must admit I don't catch everything because they talk so fast in their British accents but I'm enjoying it so far! The costumes are lovely and while some of the acting is a bit campy, I still enjoy it all. It's a spectacle to be hold for sure!

how does anyone not give this a 10!?

So funny! All the cliches ... with a twist. All the action... all the innuendos, spy thrills with frills. Female empowerment but with the added regular person empowerment!! This movie a real gem. I laughed out loud constantly! A classic movie!!

wonderful heart feels
3 May 2020
I came across this movie alone on a Saturday night and it was good ... until it became great. After a while what appeared to be a typical teenage romantic movie turned into an eye opening experience into the human condition. The wonders of memorable experiences can leave lasting impressions, especially with those special people who make those memories with us and sometimes for us. Thank you for making this wonderful movie.

A very addictive show
13 January 2019
I was not sure about if I would like this show but decided to give it a try - I am glad I did! This show got me hooked right away and keeps me coming back for more and more and more. I usually find myself a little bored during most TV shows because interesting things only happen close to commercial breaks. This show has interesting things happening all the time and keeps my interest throughout each episode. Bravo DC and Warner Bros - you have a huge hit! I hope lots more seasons are to come!

super uber cheesy christmas goodness
24 December 2018
I wasn't in the Christmas spirit but was trying to be. I found this movie and cringed through enough of it to get to the scene that got me and melted my heart. Not to mention the surprise of A. Mcdowell! A total jem of a movie cheese bad acting and all! 😍

Not Perfect but Very Enjoyable!
1 December 2016
While yes, I also have complaints about pointless scenes that took up too much screen time, I have to say that overall I really, really enjoyed the revival episodes.

I had watched the original series on television and recently re-watched them all again on Netflix - which was actually more fun than the first time around because I already knew the nuances of the characters.

I, like so many others, waited with anticipation for the launch of the revival but unlike many others, followed ASP's suggestion to watch each episode at least 1 day apart.

I had a lot of fun seeing these characters again and while you can never go backwards, I felt like GG2 moved forwards and that's where many negative reviews come from, no one likes change.

Rory's behavior - while unbecoming of a role model and upstanding young person, seemed characteristic with her past. No one is perfect and she is who she is, deal with it. The musical - ug but again, whatever. Overall I'm glad I got to see GG again in present day, and I hope they make more episodes as I will probably never tire of seeing them.

If they do make more, I just hope they try and get more Sookie :-)

If you grew up watching Space 1999 you will laugh your head off!
10 March 2015
I don't know if I was just in the mood for this or what but I found this movie absolutely perfect! I grew up watching Space 1999 and was 11 when Star Wars came out in 1977 - so to me, Space Station 76 was so darn perfect I think it deserves a far, far better rating on IMDb.

Ratings shouldn't be given based on what you expected from a movie but what the movie was trying to do and say – and to me, this movie was poking huge amounts of fun at not only 70s science fiction but for the 70s in general. For that it did a great job! Almost every scene was so completely inappropriate you can't help but laugh out loud at everything, yet the acting is good and the sets and special effects are sharp and clean to make a visually appealing movie.

Patrick Wilson was perfect as the uptight gay captain in denial about everything but desperately wanting, while Kali Rocha nailed it with her overbearing narcissistic character, Donna. Matt Boomer was great as the always stoned Ted of course and you can't help but feel for Live Tyler's character as the warm and loving Jessica who tries so hard to fit in.

Hats off to the writers and to director Jack Plotnick for giving us such a different movie - a fun look into an alternate modern view on 70's sci-fi - mixed with daytime soap drama… I had a great time and lots of laughs watching this movie!

Starts mediocre but ends up wonderful
23 December 2010
If you start to watch this movie and think about axing it within the first 15 minutes (like I did)... please give this movie a chance to redeem itself. Trust me, it does. By the last quarter of the movie, I was loving it. The first third of the movie is almost unbearable, acting mostly but even script writing is almost absurd... but if you bear through it to get to the the second-act, you start to really relate to the heroine of the movie and feel her pain. Even what's happened to her up to that point seem almost believable, despite the first act. Even in desperate times during life, wonderful people seem to appear out of the woodwork, as in this movie and it really makes you believe in something wonderful, especially at Christmas time. I really ended up enjoying this movie, even though I almost gave-up on it early on. In the end I loved it.
