The Surgeon's Cut (2020)
Feel very humble
Watching these superhuman people perform such intricate surgery is very humbling, episode one was a rollercoaster of emotions when the surgeon said he was battling cancer, love the fact it also focuses on the surgeon's life so we better understand the person behind the surgical mask.
The Devil All the Time (2020)
Great movie from start to end
Sometimes I just look for a movie that has not had loads of hype and decide to give it a try, I have found some fantastic movies this way and this was my latest find, great acting from all and despite the length of the movie kept me entertained throughout, liked the way the characters intertwined with each other right to the very end, not one for everyone but think if you give it a try you will not be disappointed.
The Social Dilemma (2020)
A must see for all our children
This should be shown in all schools to all children, many will not make any changes but if some of the most vulnerable realise the problem with social media and make a change then hopefully that will spread and we will start to see people interacting in the real world rather that online, PS I am 60+ so remember the fun in going out meeting my friends face to face.
After Life: Episode #2.6 (2020)
Did not disappoint
Series one was so good I was wondering if Ricky could keep it up with series two, he did not disappoint with his show about bereavement and loss interspersed with some comic genius that had me crying with laughter one minute and sadness the next, loved the way the characters were developed sympathetically.
Inside No. 9: Death Be Not Proud (2020)
Brilliant twist again
Never disappoints, leads the viewer into the story and always wondering what the outcome will be, brilliant ending and great how they mix characters from other shows
Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
Can't understand the negativity, absolutley brilliant
I cannot understand all the negativity regards the final episode, don't know if it is that too many people wanted a happy ending with Jon and Danny living happily ever after, if it's one thing we have learnt over the years then its expect the unexpected, although you could see a few weeks back the change in attitude with Danny and Jon, this was a rollercoaster of emotions for me seeing all these brilliant characters ending one story and starting another, agree that series 8 may have been a little rushed and could have easily stretched over 2 seasons but also understand with the huge success of the show it would never be easy to get them all together for any length of time as there careers moved on, hate the comments regarding the writers after all the brilliant episodes they have given us, shame, shame, shame.
After Life (2019)
Beautiful story from start to finish
Totally hits the nail on the head with this one, not afraid to tell it like it is with the grieving process, the love and the hate in equal quantities, totally brutal with the dark humour but had me laughing and crying at the same time, brilliant.
