This is a bad movie. It's kind of like watching a stand up comic who's routine is bombing, the longer he goes without getting laughs the more desperate he becomes and starts trying anything to get a reaction out of the audience. It is painful to watch. At least the 35 minutes I watched were

The rest of this review is written to meet the 600 character requirement; this is a low class or B-grade movie It is completely devoid of merit. I would rather have a bottle in front of me than I frontal lobotomy. I would rather have a bottle in front of me AND a frontal lobotomy than to have to watch this entire movie.

For some reason I always start a series, watch a couple of episodes and then read the reviews on imdb. I guess just to get an idea of whether I should keep watching. In most cases the reviews are pretty accurate, especially those series that get off to a weak start. This time however, I'm glad I ignored the bad reviews. My wife and I watched the entire series in two nights and enjoyed it. The last episode, which is getting lambasted here, I thought was good. All in all an entertaining, very well acted mini series loosely base on a real event, an event that was never solved by the way. A solid 8 out of 10.

My wife and I don't always have the same taste in movies or TV shows. Having said that we do try to find shows that we can watch together. At best, it's a show that we both really like and at other times it's a show that one of us really likes and the other can at least find interesting enough to sit through it. This series falls into the 2nd category and I'm not the one who really likes it. It is watchable though. It's even more watchable without Hope. We are in season 3 and I'm really enjoying her absence. Hoping she doesn't make it back from Florida.

I thought the movie was interesting as hell. No, not a bang, bang shoot 'em up but a story about one of the most successful criminals in US history. There was violence, but the violence shown wasn't gratuitous, it was simply a part of whatever event Lansky was talking about in his interviews with Stone. Keitel was outstanding as Lansky, and the rest of the cast did a very good job as well. I'm sure I will watch it again at some point.

Still, it is entertaining, in a way. I came of age in the 70's, in fact I was a junior in HS when this movie was made. I'm very familiar with the drive in movie fare of the day. Pretty sure I even saw this one. Anyway, typical 70's B movie, cheap knockoff of Bonnie and Clyde with bits stolen from other more well known movies, notably Deliverance. Lots of shooting, lots of fake, very fake, blood, cars blowing up for no apparent reason, cartoonish police and mediocre acting. Still, I watched the entire movie, I think nostalgia played a part as well as the cars and locations. Also, there were parts where I literally laughed out loud at scenes that weren't meant to be funny. The part where the pinball punks confronted the main character outside the pinball hall and the big guy says "you fit the tag!" through clenched teeth had me howling. Lynda Carter's last scene was pretty hilarious as well. BTW, my wife lasted about 15 minutes before she rolled her eyes, said how stupid it was, and left the room. Having said all that, if you are of a certain age you may find it enjoyable. Give it a shot.

Loved the first 3 seasons, pretty much fast forwarded through season 4, watched 20 or so minutes of the first episode of season 5 and I'm done. I'm sure there will be plenty of viewers who will like it. I'm just not one of them.

Just finishing up the 4th season and I found myself fast forwarding through scenes for the first time in the series. Won't bore you with a critique, many of the reasons have been covered in other reviews. I have too much time invested to give up on the show and the reviews for season 5 are encouraging. We will see.

Even though I grew up in the 70's and actually liked the song, at least the first hundred or so times I heard it, I never saw any of the Gambler movies. I didn't see them because I knew they would suck, just like every movie starring a non-actor be him or her an athlete or singer, this one proved me right. I don't have the vocabulary to describe how bad this movie is.

Looks like Billy and his family left NY, traveled through west Texas and found Coffeyville, KS somewhere in the southern Rockies? I'm not exactly a stickler for accuracy in movies, I understand sacrifices have to be made for entertainment value but the landscape shown is so wrong it's hard to ignore.

But this was by far the weakest episode so far. I found myself doing a lot of eye rolling. Anyway, 3 more to go so there's still a chance little John shoots someone.

I've been hearing how great the Breaking Bad is for years. Finally sat down and decided to give it a look. Glad I did, it had me hooked 10 minutes into the first episode. I am half way through season six and still not burned out, that is saying a lot for me. Only complaint is that I do find Skyler to be pretty annoying. I sometimes just fast forward through her scenes if it doesn't appear that anything important concerning the overall plot is going to happen.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Marvel franchise over the past 13 or so years. I liked some movies better than others of course but still can't think of one I didn't watch at least twice. Endgame disappointed me. It was long, and boring. The time travel aspect was not at all believable, funny thing to say I know considering this is a movie about superheros but that's my take. Finally, the epic battle at the end had been done before much better in Ultron. Time to put this baby to bed. It had a good run though.

Not a bad movie to have on one afternoon or evening when you don't have much to do and are just looking to fill some time. Same formula as countless other comedic action flicks. The cast pulls it off most of the time. Like I said, it is what it is, mindless entertainment.

Bad man antagonizing woman. Woman and good man end up in a life or death struggle with the bad man. Good man helping woman is easily subdued by the bad man. Woman kills bad man and saves good man.

I really enjoyed seasons 1 and 2, pretty much binged them. Struggling with season 3. Frankly, I am having a hard time staying interested. Anyway, I'll carry on and hope it gets better, still quite a few seasons to go.

The problem I had with the show ,the two episodes I watched anyway, was the characters. They were all annoying and unlikeable.

This is the first mini series I have watched in a while on Netflix that kept my interest. I pretty much binged it. Fascinating subject, the side character stories were interesting and the acting was convincing. I am very disappointed that season 3 probably won't happen. I did thoroughly enjoy the first 2 seasons though.

Loved the show, I was a high school baseball coach back in the 90's, would come home after practice or a game, put on Bob and fall into the most relaxing sleep ever. Had no idea what was going on behind scenes. It's really disgusting.

Started off as a pretty decent WW2 action series. I had read the book by Pappy Boyington and again, was entertained by the early shows. Then of course, it goes Hollywood. They had to introduce a character, young male of course, hotshot pilot who sports a very 1970's look, hair mostly. Kinda lost me there.

If you like the offbeat, you will like the Coens, if you like the Coens you will like this movie. The first story was by far the best, I have watched it again 3 times in the week since I first saw the movie. The second story was good as well. After that the stories take darker, bleaker turn but are still interesting. Not for everyone but I enjoyed it.

Reading the reviews I see bad and good. Reading the bad reviews, I actually get what they are saying and can understand their reasons for not liking the series. The bottom line with me is that my wife and I really enjoyed it. The twist at the end was pretty cool, I never saw it coming and it's always fun when that happens.

After watching the entire movie with my wife tonight I'm left with the feeling that motivation behind making this was to put Banderas in a movie, not spend much making it, and then hope that it actually makes at least a small profit.

If only the Russian Mafia were as inept as this movie portrays them to be.

First two seasons were great, kinda lost something in seasons 3 and 4 although still a very good show. Saw this one last night and was blown away. Best of a relatively weak season imo. I would even rank it as top 5 in the entire series.
