Good settings, fun for RE fan but the rest is cringy.
4 June 2022
Wrong cast for Leon and minus 5 for making him a loser with no character development. They also need someone more creative to write dialog. It was badly written since every character cussed the F word too much. The only good part is the setting just like in the game. Since I'm a huge fan of RE ( played all of RE game) it was fun with dry laugh and loads of cringe.

The Big Flop
15 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The pacing is slow and tedious. On screen chemistry is not there like I was forced to believe they had passion or any love.

When he talked on stage about how the girl loves birds, there was no scene that showed us that bonding or foreshadowing.

The female character is annoying. The humor is not witty and random.

The only think I like about this movie is the family dynamic.

This is not a rom com for me. The girl was in coma for 2/3 of the story.

Great visual with life lessons but slow pacing.

Great visual with life lessons about dreams and friendship. It was long and a bit dragging. I yawned for a few times. The climax (fighting part) was very exciting.

More than just a chess game
4 November 2020
Even I don't know chess but this show brings me to a new journey. Along the way, you learn more about the protagonist, her passion, her pain, and the past. This story becomes relatable when you see famous or gifted people struggle to find balance in life. We have to deal with choices and consequences like career, friendship, and lifestyle when we grow up. It is important to stay humble to your root. Beth got all support from the ones who care for her. What matters the most may not be victory in the competition but to surrounded by great people and do what you love.

Warning: Spoilers
The field looks so empty. I don't think they put the budget on casting a crowd.

Good dark twisting satire

I didn't expect it to be this fun. If you are looking for some exciting stories mocking society and education ( especially in Thai or even Asian culture) it's pretty good. You will question about morality and human nature in the storyline. Well done Nanno!

If you love the ocean and the action + comedy ,this is for you
14 December 2018
The eyes of Jason Mamoa will catch your attention because they are beautiful. He was born to play the King of the Ocean.

We must give credits to the freshness of the water world sceneries, the creatures and characters which were spectacular. Despite the overwhelming action scenes , it didn't put me into sleep at all. The comedic relief was there and I like that the female protagonist was also badass and a fighter. I want to see it again because I just love the ocean so much.

Discover New Experience in Magic Universe
7 December 2018
I sat in the cinema without expectation despite being a huge fan of Harry Potter. Adventure with Newt and other wizard characters never siezed to amaze me as audience. There's nostalgia in places , spells , creatures and familiar names. It's really entertaining like an escape to the real fantasy world of magic. Well done.

Not just about look
16 September 2018
I'm not going to judge if the movie sends the right or wrong message to the audience. But clearly, it portraits issues with technology and how it could affect relationship and circumstances. The good and the bad and the view of beauty. It's still true that people judge others from its cover ar school or even real life but the question is how do we understand and overcome that perception to accept others by their value. It's easy to overlook your embedded potential like Sierra as it's not just about look but be confident and shine. Nice movie.

The show means so much to me. These people in the show are like my best friends when I'm down or when I'm up for a laugh out loud. The World seems better with them.

That particular scene was cringe worthy

The Church's wedding scene was ridiculous. I laughed so hard seeing banana trees and the high grass inserted on every seats. Not to mention the flood, I thought she was going to sit on the boat and arrived at the hall.

The Nun (2018)

The Nun had so much potential to re-create the experience like its franchise but failed to do so.
5 September 2018
Warning: Spoilers
A Conjuring Universe fan will still enjoy The Nun because the Conjuring has built the hype for Valek. The evil was too pure Evil. It lacked of mystery/background story that dropped audience's hope to feel empathized. The characters have weak motive to drive and develop the story and came of as cliché and predictable. The Father wasn't scared of spirit but at least he should have had some deep guilt ( I just hate the Daniel kid who appeared several times and didn't give any impact) Sister Irene actress actually pulled it off through her acting, her eyes which conveyed some troubled past of having a vision. But the character development was still flat in terms of experience at the end of the movie. The props have been mentioned multiple times and used but weren't impactful enough such as the mirror and the ghost or the bell nearby the tomb. The comical relief appeared from time to time but sometimes decreased the tension in some scenes. The Nun had so much potential to re-create the experience like its franchise but failed to do so.

Fun action and thriller! I gave it 8
29 August 2018
If cutting the racial topic and character stereotypes based on complaints here, I find it very enjoyable. The main character " D " actually did awesome in action and the plot still makes sense for his character development. He's like anti hero that turned to protect community. Anyways , the craziness of the people , the sound effect and everything are quite effective. It got me screamed with my sister. I gave it 8 for the audience effect.

Never ending plot holes , having high profile actors did not help
15 March 2017
Warning: Spoilers
They made a great trailer making me wanted to buy the ticket to see Kong right away. I am a fan of Kong especially the 2005 version. I thought it's awesome that they put the movie direction into more action blockbuster with weird big creatures to destroy like in the game plus the rock music was dope and made you want to embark on the Skull Island Journey with them.

The movie made u laugh from time to time because of being cliché. The Bangkok set is funny as some seller wears a vietnamese hat. I guess they want to portrait Asian vibe but it is not accurate. OK no big deal.

Throughout the film though, I feel I was forced to laugh at the scene that is the comic relief of the soldier joke about mom, food can and then smoking and got almost sad but not likely when they depart the tribe.

The characters also seem to have a flat dimension. Conrad is a good guy and brave. He never gets hurt. He can use samurai sword ( since when, no background) and he is the person who help tracking lost soldier but does he do his job and why he is captain? And when he said Come on Bastard, I laughed so hard at this one liner because Tom Hiddleston cussing. He seems to be aggressively arrogant ex captain then later he is a soft guy who cares for the people and he is always clean cut. I love Tom but being in the jungle you can't look that perfect! ( I love Tom tho)

Samuel's character is also too evil and not reasonable. They also use too much characters who survive in the jungle.

Dear Billy plot can actually turn into a great motive to live on for that army guy but i don't know why that happened to him. There seem like no need to have this character including Tian Jing who joins the team for unknown reason.

The relationship between Brie and Kong is not convinced enough. They met only once or twice but there is lacking development of plot that cannot convince me to believe. If they have some background like Kong longers for his mother? Or Why Brie connects to Kong?

They said they would not tell anyone at the end but why Brie did not throw away the camera?

I praise Randa ,Brie and that long lost soldier who did the best for the roles. This is obvious that this film overuse a bunch of five star actors but ruined it because of the bad script.

It was fun but I want to share this idea since I thought i could have been more badass if they'd worked on the plot.
