So much build up for legendary ending scene
15 December 2021
This kind of art movie. Viewer seeking for entertainment would find it boring throughout the film. Story of the life of abandoned children, slow pace but so realistic. I followed until the end, they gave me the legendary ending scene which smacked my opinion to the movie: top 3 best japanese movie all time. But I wouldn't get this amazing feeling without watching full movie built up.

Nice enough for normal sci-fi fan
22 April 2021
Not sure if people who say this movie isn't accurate really understand the science. Of course there will be some flaws, but mostly is relevant and enjoyable (no plothole that makes me uncomfortable).

It is not an intense movie, more like how do average astronauts behave in (and make us experiencing) such situation. The life-threatening problem is not exaggerated (beside the main cause that doesn't make sense for me), and the solution is not too genius or luck-based (just like in reality).

Well, acting and filmography is normal. I can see they perform poorly here and there, but not that bad to disgust me. At last, if you like sci-fi, try to enjoy this movie in your free time without expecting too high.

It is entertaining, with full of emotions, although not very detailly done.

Call it too much, but I cried the whole half end

Not so special story theme, just regular person got concer and going to die. But the way they present the film, feels so natural. No forced dialog, exaggerated speech, out of ordinary life plot, nor strange expression. Its like I was blended into the movie, felt what he feel and so on. Very worth your time.

Doesn't deserve so much hatred
16 June 2019
Despite the rating is not quite high and so many critics flies around, I watched it anyway because x-men is the only ongoing sequel that always satisfy me with its strong plot and breathtaking cgi-action, and it still. I rarely write review, but it bothers me seeing this fine work are gaining so much hatred it doesn't deserve. If you're not so perfectionist, give it a shot, and you're gonna like it.
