Well...they havnt spared the CGI, some of it is passabel but much feels outdated in 2023...

The "monsters/aliens" are really not "scary" at all, borderline silly...so its hard to engage and get the feeling that the "stakes are high".

The story feels pretty empty, but maybe that is in part the dialoge being lost in translation!? (the English version) but i would guess its probably pretty shallow and sometimes unlogical in the original language too..

It feels (and looks) more like the worlds longest video game cutscene than a movie...

But it you just watch it for a moment of mindless distraction it is pretty ok! But dont expect more than that!

Crude, derranged, bizzarre and sometimes plain "wrong"! Its full of narcissism, sociopaty and A LOT of stupidity... but, aaaah; OH SOOOO GOOOD! *chefs kiss*

But stay clear if you are easily offended & dark humor is not for you! BC you Will be disgusted, disturbed and wanting to write an angry letter to the producers! LOL

For the rest of you its "must see tv"!

Started to watch this show when it came out, but i couldnt really make it through eposidoe one... "this isnt the mist" i thought!

But i gave it a second chance when it came up on Netflix, and im glad i did!

Binged it in 2 days, and really enjoyed it, decent caracter arcs, suspens and not at all as wooden and cheesy as you the impression you get in the beginning!

As soon as you can accept that this is just VERY loosley based on the novell, and NOTHING like the movie... This show stands alone... It plays wiht the same source material but makes something new of it, If you just can accept that and take it for what it is then its really a decent show! Dont deserv all the hate! Im sad there wont be a season 2!

Wow.....what did i just see?! In the begining i didnt really Want to like this film....it made me very uneasy and anxious.....but that was the whole point! What starts as a drama transforms into a nightmarish terror, the stuff our worst nightmare are made of... and i think that is why it hits so hard! I think we all can relate to that feeling, those dreams that make you wake up drenched in nightsweats and that unease, anxiety & revulsion that wont let you go back to sleep.. you know its only a dream....but it still feels so real...

It starts very understated and ends with a visceral chaotic crescendo...

Its like a acid-trip that starts benigh and then spirals into Madness, chaos & terror....there is No escape...only fear and despair...

Never seen a film like this.....i think i both hate it and love it.... it will stay with me for quite som time...

Ok, lets start with; this is not a "good" movie...its stupid, corny, cheesy & over the top! That said; i still enjoyed it!

It definitly wont win any Oscars, but Its lighthearted fun... kind of remind me of the cheesy 80's actioncomedies i grew up with.

Its something to put on when you just Want to relax and have a cheap laugh, like for a hangover-day when you dont really have the energy to have full focus on a movie...just Take it for what it is...

If not for any other reason you should watch this show for Vincent D'Onofrios amazing performace as the villain "Wilson Fisk", one of the best writen characters in the Marvel univers! As villainous as he is, he is extremly...human...and you are thorn between loathing and symphaty for him... the most human and complex bad guy i ever seen in a show like this! A Well writen backstory that highlight that "evil" is often No more than a consequences of what a person is subjected to... way more "nuture than nature", and this makes him way more belivable than most antagonist on tv!

The show as a whole is good, both the characters and the plot, and compared to other shows of the same kind it doesnt necessarily depend primarely on the action, the drama part is good enough to stand on its own merit! You could cut away a lot of the action and still have a really good show, not to say that the action part isnt really good too! ...Because it is!

What can i say.....this show cant really be put into words... Not your average sitcom.... strange,deranged, depraved, funny and just...just great! Light up a joint and join the drugged up adventures of moz the drugdealer and his customers...

Soo good! It had kind of a "inception"/"eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" vibe going on...

Something out of the ordinary!
