Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire (2023)

I was not expecting much and I got it. This is so many stories in one that has no harmony in its entirety.

There is potential, however I can't see it happening.

I know why this was put on Netflix and not in a theatre release.

The cast is amazing the 'action' is okay but the plot and story line needs more.

Can we not have the slow motion action scenes ? This movie makes me miss the Roger Corman flix that would be on late at night.

I miss Good Sci-fi. I miss plausible storylines.

I want to fire whomever decided that this was a good haircut for Ed.

I don't know if I will watch the next chapter or not.

I would rather read this in a book series.

This is amazing writing, acting, directing and cinematography.

The story is unique and exactly what is needed in todays cinema.

The only part that I am not a fan of is the "American Agency" involvement.

Why was this made?

Why oh why do you ruin Jane Austen?

This is terrible. The only thing I can recommend is that the casting is beautifully diverse.

Persuasion is my favourite Jane Austen novel and this iteration is incredibly disheartening and disappointing.

I am baffled as to why this was made.

I love the writer/director of this flick.

This movie is pure cheese, it has that late 80s early 90s vibe. It's the movie you watch late at night because you can't sleep.

The acting isn't to great from a lot of support actors.

Some of the dialogue is over the top and I think it's supposed to be.

I actually liked it, it was refreshing. This is such a woke movie but there hasn't been a lot out there like this and right now I actually think it's kind of needed.

C Hemsworth was an interesting extra.

Resident Alien (2021– )

Not expected at all

This came out of nowhere for me.

The only reason I started watching it was because of Alan T and was not disappointed. Hilarious, brilliant and out of the box. I truly hope it stays around.

I had no clue that it was a comic.

What is with the accents?

So this is from the UK. Why are they trying to Americanize it? They should have let the actors keep their natural accents.!

The shots are ok. Acting is poor. Background noise and 'soundtrack' way to loud.

Immortally Yours (2009)

Okay I am a huge cheesy movie fan but this was bad even for me. Watchout folks plot holes up ahead.

it could have been good there is a story here but it was executed poorly.

the only way i recommend this movie is to see how not to make a vampire movie.

one character made 'specialty weapons' to kill the vampires, and what are they long stakes and large sling shots with wooden stakes. Do they actually know where a heart is located on the body?? most of the time NO they aim and strike just below the heart in the diaphram, yeah that will kill them.

Pride & Prejudice (2005)

I love Jane Austin and Have Read her Stories/Books many Times over, So when going to see this version I wasn't expecting much because Hollywood Usually Butchers the Authors Vison when they transfer book to script to movie. I can sum this version in just four words 'THE BEST ADAPTATION EVER' Deborah Moggach adapted Jane Austin Vision to perfection. The cast was Spot on. The Cinematography Makes me want to go to the UK. who ever did the scouting for the locations is a genius. I do have one complaint, Keira Knightly's Costumes made her look like she had a large breast on one side and none on the other. I just love this movie I am going to buy it when it comes in DVD.

When Angels Come to Town (2004 TV Movie)

So I don't celebrate Chirstmas but this movie is pretty good the acting's no bad I would watch it again. So this is the Story Peter Faulk is an angle named Max (he's had a few movies like this one) and he has his own way of doing things Katy Segal, Jo, comes down "in the Field" to fire Max But She screws up and they both have to fix everything. Katey gets drunk and falls in love with this guy shes supposed to be helping and finds out how good hot chocolate is its really rather cute. So this movie has two families one trying to stay together the other drifting apart and Max and Jo get in the middle to get these two Families together as one. Heart warming cute basic Chirstmas movie.

i really like Peter Faulk but not as Colombo so I give my approval for this movie. The Family can enjoy this one. There are some Nazis but you don't see anything disturbing. As always there is a life lesson, like every Christmas movie but you get over that quick enough. Oh and I this isn't your type of movie please watch to see Peter Faulk in a dress (Hilarious) Enjoy, Lexy
