Locke & Key: Five Minutes Past (2022)
This is my goodbye
Okay, I've had enough. Enough of the non-communicating family, enough of the artificial dramas ( alcoholism? Out of nowhere? Seriously?), enough of the stupid decisions ( yes, Bode, you. Come on, anyone thinks going back to time just to laugh at the face of the enemy is a good, logical step in that scenario? Instead of meeting with the father? ), enough of the bad acting ( and i mean bad, baaaad acting ) , and most importantly enough of the bad writing. The concept of the show is brilliant, the key magic is special, but that's it.
This show is over to me. Good job Netflix, another one massacred.
Peacemaker (2022)
Definitely promising
It was a quite pleasant experience to watch. They were brave enough to do some non-standard jokes, I genuinely lol'd quite often. Peacemaker's character has potential, especcially together with Vigilante, they are gold. There were quite few ties to the SC universe, which was fun. The music rocks :)
Nowadays every movie or series must have at least one black, one gay and one fat character, this solution is somewhat survivable, altough the character doesn't fit to the script, and the actress did a bad job.
Taken 3 (2014)
Shaking cameras
I don't want to highlight the story ( its bad ), I just want to focus on camera work. I never saw this crap movie as this one. I mean, there are a lot of shaking cameras action scenes around, but this one is way beyond everything.
Every action scene is cut in every half second, you cannot see who is who, why is happening. Just two example: Liam jumps over a fence. 12 cuts. 12!!! Next, highway car chasing scene: you cannot see which car goes where, its like very short clips of cars running around. I know, that Liam Neeson is not a fighter, but come on, you cannot hide the missing action parts with shitty camera movements and crappy cuts.
Avoid, if you are irritated by shaking camera
