The CGI lion was the best part of this film. It's premise is a rogue lion stalking a family who went into the bush grossly unprepared, however upon finding that there seems to be a malevolent rogue, giant lion slaying entire villages they proceed to keep children in dangerous areas without more supplies .. the saddening thing is that this has 2 good actors woefully let down by script, story and ultimately CGI .. had potential to be a modern jaws type film however it was really poor, I'm amazed Idris Elba appeared in this travesty .. I give it 5/10 but that was very generous, I'm upset I paid ..

Such a let down

This had a good cast, good budget and excellent trailers that drew me into watching. Sadly it failed on almost every level, no suspense, drama or any horror at all. In fact it could've been a more succinct 2 parter and got to the point much quicker, as it escalated and tried to lead the viewer into drawing conclusions, it only led to making the lead characters look moderately dim witted. Based on a true story it states, basically it's over zealous neighbourhood watch that try to dictate who lives in a home and how they decorate it. Ultimately a waste of time. Decent cast wasted, had potential.

This film is much better than I anticipated.. Foxx is his usual likeable self and the premise was good in theory. Worth a watch if be surprised if it didn't spawn multiple sequels. No surprises and a few jumpy bits but on the whole relatively funny and entertaining
Reverences lots of classic vampire movies a d is almost aware that is a parody, but it's definitely not the worst thing produced by Netflix and a light relief in the vampire comedy genre, in the style of lost boys, fright night etc Some interesting cameos and a pretty decent cast. I'm elaborating now as I have to fill the review with 600 characters which I find hard to comprehend I've done assignments with less stringent criteria. Good effort from first time director though.

Pretty poor

This film could have been good. I take it the Rock read the script and bailed due to its horrific content, crap and contrived. Netflix is producing this type of content it's understandable why Disney is now the main streaming provider.

With quite a good array of British comedy talent I expected more. This was just horrific in writing and performance. I can't believe the pittance it cost to finance was actually offered up by producers after reading the script.
Army of the Dead

Waste of a good concept

The premise of this film, combined with a decent cast and Snyder's zombie experience promised a good film. Sadly this cliche ridden CGI mess fails to deliver. I only watched as I was cheering for the zombies at the end.
Borat Subsequent Moviefilm

Cohen doing a Borat impression.

I'm a massive fan of the original and this film too deserves a watch, however it loses its edge and appeal as everyone knows who he is and it's the stupidity of the public that makes the film work .. Cohen appears to be doing an impression of Borat, the voice is even different
Quite entertaining

There is a lot at stake when dealing with classic source material, this left me cross as it is no reflection of the original book. The BBC have taken liberties and over stretched, it's a shame that the count was as boring as counting sheep
Better than expected
