They warned us we wouldn't be ready for this and oh boy were they right!

I won't say much other than this is quite possibly the best episode to date in the entire series. Absolute in your face and not just the action scenes. This one will be hard to unsee. Best of luck to all of you.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Part I (2022)

It had to be done
28 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I think some of the reviews here are rather harsh. Yes, maybe there were some mediocre moments but overall it was a great homage to the prequel's especially episode three.

I want to first off say that it was pleasantly surprising to see more of Alderan and most importantly, Leia. We all know Luke's childhood story fairly well. Grow up in the farm with the Lars. Pretty much stayed put until he was 19. But we had no clue about Leia or how she became the The fighting spirited rebel. I was personally very pleased to see a lot more of her.

Overall, a decent start to the series. I'm pretty sure it will get even better as the parts progress.

Hey CNET, how's that review going?
18 March 2021
After briefly reading seen it's harsh negative review of Zack Snyderis justice league, I was intrigued to watch the movie right away this morning. This is exactly what DC fans were asking for. The two hour 2017 theatrical cut was such a badly butchered down version just to fill in the allotted time. Even my son forgot about that version.

This is what Zack Snyder wanted and intended. I am glad we got it. It is long, but much needed for all the characters. This one is for all true DC fans! Enjoy!

WandaVision (2021)
From someone who used to watch Nick at Night
16 January 2021
If you are one of those kids that just randomly started watching Nick at night couple decades back, then you know what I'm talking about. Don't expect an avengers infinity war or endgame type theatrics. I honestly think this is like putting a puzzle together. There are a lot of moments where I think this is setting up a much bigger build up. I know there will be a link to the Doctor Strange multi-verse of madness. Don't jump to conclusions. Phase 4 just began. Enjoy it!

Whose idea it was to write this kind of story?
26 December 2020
Honestly, I kind of thought I was watching an 80s fantasy drama'ish documentary. There was a good hour of wasted content. Poorly written throughout. I'll give the cast credit for the execution, but that's pretty much it. The first one was a masterpiece compared to this. Even my daughter walked out halfway through. Yikes.

I wish Jon Favreau and David Filioni wrote the sequels.
15 December 2020
After watching the sequel trilogy while reading all these negative reviews, I still wanted to defend JJ and Kathleen. But I can't. The Rise of Skywalker was a huge opportunity missed. Visually, the entire sequel trilogy is pleasing. But it stops there. Even my kids weren't crazy about Rey, Fin and Po. The droids get a pass.

Now, after watching The Mandalorian, I can't help but wonder what could have been done if Jon, David, hell even Deborah Chow were on the helm for episodes 7 through 9. It was poor planning by Lucasfilms to begin. All hype, no bite.

Such a shame. I will still give it a 5 due to my love and loyalty to the franchise.

Black Panther (2018)

RIP Mr. Boseman
29 August 2020
The King has now rested. Don't know how I will relay this news to my kids. Especially my daughter, she loved Black Panther so much. Great talented cast. On a comic book level, this movie was very worthy. That's what we wanted especially when it comes to Marvel. Chadwick Boseman will always be King T'Challa. Will be hard to replace him. Wakanda forever!
