I admit it, despite being British I really hate the TV that this country produces with the exception of Killing Eve where even that let me down in the final season. But up steps The Outlaws written by the genius Stephen Merchant and my faith has been restored.. maybe temporarily but restored nevertheless.
Set in one of my favourite cities Bristol this show tackles some serious issues with just the right amount of gritty realism and sprinkled comedy. You start off hating most of the characters and then one by one you see their different sides and proof that we can all get on regardless of background.
I am halfway through season 2 but still felt that it was worth sharing a review.. don't let me down Stephen, I don't want another good show ruined.
