NO SPOILERS! Weakest of the series and and I have to believe the missing piece was director James Wan. The scares were way too predictable, the script felt one note and even though I went in cold I could still see the ending a mile away. Solid turns by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as they have always done but still even they couldn't elevate this one.

No spoilers, well shot but lacking in any real character development. I did find myself wanting more of Cavill's SF character. No real surprises wished they'd fleshed out Hoult's character more

Like a lot of these reviews, I really wanted to like this movie. Highly promising cast, the story was a familiar trope but with a twist of what I thought would be a truly cute and funny gay couple. Unfortunately this movie never really decided what it wanted to be, moving from cute and silly and then jumping right to drama and seriousness. You never really get to appreciate the main couple before you get hit with the "we have to pretend we're straight" plot device. That could've laid a path for either a really funny fish out of water/hope they don't get caught comedy or a real deep dive into the reality of same sex relationships and how they effect each other and their families. As it's said everyone's story is different and it feels like a missed opportunity for either really funny family Christmas movie or a tear jerking drama that leaves you sobbing. The bright spots in this include Aubrey Plaza who's delightful and remarkably reserved, you find yourself wanting her to get the girl vs. Harper who never really earns her redemption. Kristen Stewart really shines in this, I was really impressed with her nuance and comedic timing. Speaking of comedic, Dan Levy, to the surprise of literally no one is fantastically funny and steals every second of scene he's in. All in all this is a near miss

Hard core John Wick level action, fight scenes and gun battles. Moves a long a a good pace editing is done exceptionally well and Hemsworth's performance is fantastic. There's an all to familiar feel of every awesome COD cut scene from Modern Warfare to Black Ops.

The 90's cartoon run was 1000x better. The cast looked bored to tears, the story was convoluted and dry. The fight scenes and action were ok and the pacing and editing was good (it went by quickly)

Just got home from seeing this with my 13yr old daughter and we both CHEERED! Yes this movie follows the "Marvel formula" great action, decent comedic moments and the "surprise" MCU tie in. Past that is a terrific story that is filled with laughter, awe, action, drama and yes there is a strong women's vibe. And there should be, CM is one of the most powerful characters in the MCU so anyone complaining that she's too powerful or that the fights are too easy should really pick up a comic. Brie does a fantastic job at starting the film as a characteristic "flyboy(girl)" and morphs into a badass hero who clearly digs her unleashed power and is not afraid to show it. Shes someone who stands to be a beacon for all in the MCU. (I can't wait for the banter between her and the other heroes) Please don't listen to the naysayers this is a TERRIFIC MOVIE! We can't wait to go see it again

No hate on Bay, he is who he is and had never really denied it. This is the Transformers movie we the fans truly deserve. Full of heart, comedy tons of action and PACKED with the perfect balance of 80's nostalgia songs G1 Easter eggs. If it were up to me I would stop calling this a "prequel" and just enjoy this amazing "reboot" of the franchise

I'm not even a hardcore Venom fan, but I really liked this flick, the pacing was really tight and the CGI was great! The Eddie/Venom dialogue was really good and the mid credits scene was "insane". I did wish Spiderman could've made even a cameo but all in all a really fun adventure
