Lucky You (2007)
6/10
Not a Drew Barrymore chick flick
3 August 2022
If you are a Drew fan let me tell you this movie is not for you, she is hardly in the movie. Her scenes are kinda boring and the whole movie is about gambling and poker!

Don't waste your time and you might want to watch Never Been Kissed or Ever After instead.

7th Heaven: Last Call for Aunt Julie (1996)
Season 1, Episode 10

Best Episode in the Whole Series.
28 September 2007
This episode marked the very, very first serious episode in the whole series, which is about the alcoholism. When Eric's sister Julie arrived home to celebrate Thanksgiving Day, all was perfect, but one morning after Simons hide the key where the Camdens save the wine, Aunt Julie went mad at him and tried to hit him, but Annie arrived and troubles began. When Eric talks to her, she denies she's a drunk. Mary gets mad at her and Matt got punished by his aunt. But everything goes wrong, when Julie asks Matt if he could bring her a beer, but for this she was in d-tox so Matt said no, but she tried to hit him when she got upset. For this Eric and Annies decided to take her into a hospital in order to make her feel better. Don't miss this episode which is so great.

Mariska Hargitay Should Have Won an Oscar
29 November 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Wow, this episode has been Mariska best performance, so far. She was so involved with Maria Recinos, I guess she was raped, too. Since she cried for her because of this. I just liked the episode that much, that actually I sobbed. From one moment, at the very end, I thought she was dead and at the end rolling credits, they don't resolve the case in the way we expected. But this had the perfect end, Olivia saved the little Latin girl, and the criminal was caught. Thank God.

Good episode, even when Elliot was not on it. But Mariska saved the whole thing, I think she deserves and Emmy for this episode, she was so good, and acted so real that I almost cried watching her all desperate.

She was a Desperate Police Officer.

Sin Ton Ni Silvia
28 November 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Even when the real episode name is La Serenata, Producers decided to call it after the movie Sin Ton Ni Sonia, which it's about a woman who loses everything, In this episode, we saw a very desperate Silvia, which is afraid to live as a spinster forever. Mariana convinced her to go out with a guy named Santiago, but later she made a date with Leonardo, Mariana told her that it would be a great idea if she dates with both, in order to discover which one it's the best, or if one of them dump her, she got the another option.

Later that night, Silvia received a surprise, one of the guys gave her a serenade, the neighbors were complaining. But more later, the other guy also came with another serenade, and the troubles began.

At the end, both guys dumped her, and she is still the most sad spinster in the neighborhood.

Good Episode.

When Jigsaw Met the Charmed Ones
23 November 2006
Warning: Spoilers
I love this episode, even when some of their fans call it an unnecessary, but what I love is that this episode features two actors from the movie Saw II, released on 2005. Tobin Bell (aka Jigsaw) played Orin a blind demon trying to steal the gypsies eyes, it's when he met Ava Nicole,(played by Emmanuelle Vaughier which is super hot) a young doctor that has born as a Gypsies. The demon had to defeat the charmed ones in order to take Ava's eyes. At the end, she defeated him first.

Emmanuelle and Tobin, later will gather again in this movie, where Emmanuelle plays Addison, a young thief that fell in the Jigsaw's net. Of course she was murdered by Jigsaw, our demon in this episode.

Watch this episode, it's really, really cool.

Great Sitcom in Months! Amor Mio
8 November 2006
Warning: Spoilers
When I started to watch the show, I didn't like it at all, but when in season 3, they declared their love for the each other, instead of being fighting all the time, I totally liked it.

Here's the plot, Abril and Marcos are half-brothers, they inherited at the same time, their parents' flat, where they have to share it and live together, they didn't like the idea at all, they were only fighting over and over, but in season 3 episode "Amor Prohibido" I became the biggest fan of it. Marcos and Abril have one friend each, for Marcos is Felipe and for Abril is Vera. Vera and Felipe didn't like to the each other, but back in season 2, they felt in love, and nowadays they are still together, despite of the unfaithful Vera, which is still the same spoiled and sexy woman in there. Maggie is Abril's mother, she is in love with Marcos' father Andres, and old navy member, Maggie also loves Andres, but their love is forbidden, because he is married to another woman, Laura.

Abril and Marco cannot imagine being completely brothers, because if they parents get married, for Marcos and Abril, their love would be forbidden by society, since they could became totally brothers.

Don't miss the show, is really good, even when it's a remake of the Argentinian version Amor Mio.

Lois Lane, A New Beginning.
26 September 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Clark returns to Smallville as Kal-El - intent on fulfilling his destiny, he goes after a powerful Kryptonian crystal that Lex has obtained in Egypt. Meanwhile, newcomer Lois Lane arrives in Smallville to look into the death of her cousin Chloe, and Lana returns from Paris with a new boyfriend. Jonathan lies in a coma after the events of last year's season finale and Lionel must deal with his new life in prison.

A very good episode, after the amazing finale of season 3, where Chloe was brutally murdered, Lex was poisoned, Martha found rare symbols on the yard, Jonathan was having a heart attack, Lana moved to Paris, and Clark was being kidnapped by his father Kal-El.

In this episode all this issues are solved, but Chloe's character should have been dead by now, but in season 4, we learn that it was a miracle, since the house exploded in her face, but who knows?

Farewell My Beloved Martha Huber!
26 September 2006
Warning: Spoilers
What an amazing episode, here we learn that Paul Young it's a real assassin, his family secret was discover by Martha (Christine Estabrook) which was blackmailing Mary Alice Young, he finally found out that Martha was the guilty about Mary Alice's suicide, and obviously he took revenge, at the end of the episode Paul was chatting with Martha, and all of the sudden, he asked why she was blackmailing his wife, Martha did not deny it, Paul went upset, as he grabbed a blender glass to hit her in the head, followed by a little struggle and finally was killed. To get rid of the body, Paul buried her in a park, which was later discovered by a dog.

I don't get, after he killed her, the housewives did not notice it at all, until Martha's sister, Felicia Tilman arrived to the neighborhood and solved the cold case.

At the end of the season, the housewives learned that Paul killed her. I was expecting the housewives to cry, but they didn't care a radish about Martha.

Later some archive footage from Martha was used, telling more secrets about the Youngs.

A Halloween Classic
20 September 2006
Since this was the only episode of the whole series with the Halloween plot, makes this episode a classic, the Halloween episode was about two warlocks that wanted to killed the charmed ones (what else is new?) , when they were about to be killed, a circle of time (or something like that) sucked the sisters in, making them go back in past, in the 1800's era, where her grand-grand-grand mother was about to birth to their grand-grand mother Melinda Warren, which was introduced back in season 1.

I hope this can be one of your favorites episodes, Remember Phoebe flying and laughing as a witch in the old broom, the FX, weren't that good, but anyway was good.

Happy Halloween!

Freddy Took Revenge
20 September 2006
When first they announced back in the 2001 to Robert Englund being a special Charmed guest, I was so happy to see him as a demon or monster, I was so hooked to Nightmare on Elm Street movies, that I wanted to have more of his bad acts, And Charmed was not the exception, he played a demon sucker of witches, who turned them into little dolls, ready to be collected.

Robert Englund will be always one of my favorite actors of horror movies, that's why I loved Charmed more than before.

I hope you can enjoy this episode as well as I did, trust me this is the best one of season 4, the Rose McGowan's debut in the series.

Good Soundtrack
20 September 2006
One of the things because I love this episode, it's because of the soundtrack, where we can gear "Human Touch", and excellent song, that had to do a lot with the story of the abandoned child.

Later he discovered that he was not meant to be abandoned, she was just being protected by the family when a ghost demon showed up and wanting to kill the baby, even when he just killed the whole male members of the family, he was chasing the baby, but this was being protected by the Charmed Ones.

I hope you enjoy this episode as well as I did, trust me, this is one of the best from the second season.

I always rather Paige over Prue!

Good Episode, But Weird Plot
14 September 2006
Since Patty died, the girls learned how to leave without her. So, one day a demon comes to the house saying that he is an old friend of Grams and Patty. This guy made a deal in the past with Patty to steal the Charmed Ones' powers, they had to cast a spell, but this take them to the past, where Mom and Grams were alive. Phoebe met his mother, finally.

But the question is about episode 8.22 Forever Charmed, where Piper travels on time and went to Patty, but she no longer recognize her, but why? I mean they went to the past in this episode at the same era, and then in the final episode, she didn't remember the all grown up Charmed Ones.

Good episode, though.

Luces, Cámara, Acción...
8 September 2006
This episode features archive footage of many TV shows, as Roberto Gomez Bolaños show. This episode was about some guys that were telling they can heal people through chants and chats, but they were only a couple of cheaters performed by Adrian Uribe and Reynaldo Rossaldo, this last return in season 2, but now as a different character named Tito.

This it's one of the last episode that had one hour length, since the series Bailando Por Un Sueño took the place of the show, Vecinos was removed to Wednesdays, at 10 pm. after the Mexican prime time of soap operas.

Don't miss this episode, which it's a classic!

Cecilia Tijerina is Alive!
7 September 2006
In this episode our neighbors were running out of water, since German did not pay the bill, the troubles begin when Lorena and Frankie hide some litters of water, and the neighbors did want them to share it. Later that day, the neighbors started to take the shower and visit the restroom in River's flat.

This it's the big return to TV of Cecilia Tijerina, after being absence of TV, when she began to make only movies, like Sin Ton Ni Sonia.

Also, the very good friend of producer was invites to the episode, I mean, Sammy, which it's known for his funny comments and his weird manner to tell them. He is considering as an actor, even when he did not make any career about act, this is all I can say about this episode.

The Second Part of the Classic Two-Parter
7 September 2006
After Shannen left the show, THE WB did want to go on with the show, they asked executive producer Brad Kern to replace Shannen. The casting began with the very known actresses as Jennifer Love Hewitt, Eliza Dushku, Thiffani Amber Thiessen (weird fact it's that Thiffani replaced Shannen, when she got fired from Beverly Hills, and she was about to replace her again) and finally, the big winner Rose McGowan (better known for her role as Tatum Riley in 90's movie Scream, produced by Wes Craven).

Rose charmed the producer Aaron Spelling, and they went for her. Since 4th season to the final 8th season, we knew a better Rose, out of slutty roles in her prevoius movies.

After episode 4.5, the characters did not talk about Prue (Shannen), they did forget her right away, as well as we all did.

Vecinas Desesperadas
7 September 2006
A.k.a. Desperate Houseneighbors, in this episode we can see a parody of American TV Series Desperate Housewives, which it's about the problems of some desperate women trying to solve them all, and when they do, they start with a new one.

In Vecinos, the female neighbors began to fight for stupid little things, Silvia it's so desperate since she does not find the perfect guy, so she began to look for one.

Lorena was arguing to Magdalena when Frankie never stops to talk about his movie La Toalla del Mojado.

This it's just the 1st season, don't miss it on Televisa, and also on Univision.

7 September 2006
In the second episode, we now know the neighbors. In this time, the Mexican government it's giving for free some paints to re-paint the old buildings. When they began to paint, problems starts when Magdalena it's disagree with the color.

In this episode, Liza Willer returned to TV after being killed in Mexican Soap Opera "La Madrastra" (2005) where she played a mean and greedy woman named Rebeca, it was cool to see her in Vecionos in this role as the Delegada, she was wearing sloppy clothes and a terrible brunette wig. Long Live Liza, she is also a dubbing actress, along with her sister Gaby Willer, these two sisters are very friend of Eugenio Derbez.

Also, we saw again to Rosa Maria Bianchi in a little paper playing Silvia's mother.

How All Began
6 September 2006
Best Mexican TV-Series, in this pilot we know the neighbors as they are, some of them are the desperate housewives, the unemployed husbands, the children which they are weirds, the young woman which is in search of the perfect man, the family where the parents make their son want to become a child movie star, even when the kid does not want to, among other amazing characters created by Gus Rodriguez and Eugenio Derbez.

In the pilot, we saw Silvia (Mayrin Villanueva) moving to the building, where she met her neighbors and these help her to move her stuffs to her new flat.

Magadalena and Arturo have one brainless and sloppy son Marco, and Alejandra a Marylin Manson wannabe.

Frankie is or was a movie actor on the movie La Toalla del Mojado, in which he spend all his time talking to the neighbors about the movie. His wife Lorena has been supporting him all her life. This couple has a son named Benito, the child star, even when he doesn't want to be one.

Don't miss this show, it's amazing.

The Best Finale for the Best Series
16 August 2006
I'm gonna miss Charmed, this show gave me the most incredible eight years in my life. I started to watched since I was 10, I wish it had have more seasons, but it didn't. Anyway, now Charmed is part of history, my history, and once when I get marry, I will let my children and my grand children to watch the reruns or the DVD's. I will be so proud of it, even when I get old, when the actresses will be dead by that time, I will remember them.

I wish they had have Shannon Doherty for the final episode, and then fans would have been happy with Paige meeting her. But it did not happen.

Farewell My Beloved Charmed Ones. Rest In Peace, Mr. Aaron Spelling.

The Best New Comedy
7 July 2006
This is one of my favorites TV-series that Mexico has created. From the producers of Hospital El Paisa, Eugenio Derbez, brought to us the most funny series in this year. Vecinos, is about neighbors with big problems, like gas leaks, black outs, dark waters, etc. There are certain characters that are stick to reality, like Magdalena, which is a woman who enjoys torturing the neighbors, and enjoys pretending that she is rich, when she is not. Her husband, Arturo, always argues with her, but she always get away with everything.

Don't miss this show, which airs one time per week, currently on Saturdays and 10/9 centro.

Really, Really Funny
30 January 2006
Warning: Spoilers
When this show was released in my country, at first sight, I thought it would be another vulgar show, but totally wasn't. Now, every Sunday at 10/9 c, I watched it and taped it, but just the part when Julieta Prandi appears. In every show, Guillermo performs three main characters with a quote to each, for example: -Arturo Petrocelli when he shares credits with Julieta Prandi aka July "La Nena" ,alongside of Florencia Peña, Mariana Briski among others. This sketch is about Arturo and La Nena, which is secretly in love with Arturo, and she likes to play with her feelings, making him feel uncomfortable in front of his wife (Eleonora) and daughter (Laura), then July is like a little girl in search of paternal love and she found it in Arturo, anyway, at the end of the sketch, always Arturo and July are caught in act by Eleonora, and she always asks, "Don't you think she's to bigger to be doing that". and Arturo answers, "Ay Eleonora, but she's a Baby!"

-Pascualito San Bosseti: a shy character always bothered by his female boss named Señora De Roble (Flor Peña), in this sketch, San Bossetti has to satisfy his boss' desires, she is a crazy woman who is in love with San Bossetti and she make him to wear some disguises of everything, like Chapulin Colorado, Chaplin, a punk star, an Indian and stripper, etc. Then, Sra. De Roble make him get angry and then he fights with her and they also are caught in the act, and Flor says, "Get off of me you sick-o", and later San Bossetti answers, "Thank God I didn't loose my job"

It's hilarious, Don't miss it!

Jason is Back
30 May 2005
Was necessary all the nudity?

Anyway, This is the perfect Friday the 13th, why? because it has the best cast ever in the saga, First of all, I fell in love with Robin (Juliette Cummins) and Violet (Tiffany Helm), guess what? they both were killed by Jason, they didn't deserve to die.

I like Violet a lot, she is the one I like most of all Friday the 13th movies. Some things i didn't like from the movie is that there is a lot of nudity Tina is okay, Lana and Robin, why? Another thing, why did he killed Violet, that is so unfair! because, she is cool, pretty and does robot dancing very well! I just think is one of the best movies in Friday the 13th saga. Juliette Cummins was the perfect actress to play Robin, she's pretty as Tiffany is, Robin died with the machete stabbed in her chest when she was lying down in her bed, predictable, isn't it? Besides of all of this, Ethel (Carol Locatell) didn't deserve to die, she was so gross with that vocabulary but anyway she didn't deserve it, she was cooking an excellent stew for his son, obviously he died, too, an suddenly Jason stabs the machete in Ethel's head and her head fell in the stew. what a creepy scene! I can't take it out of my mind

Finally, I'm looking for some information about these girls, anyone who knows something about them, please send me a mail.

Long Live Drew!
24 May 2005
Henry Roth (Adam Sandler) has a admirable life in Hawai, this fella has a charm for the women, specially the tourists women looking for shorts love affairs. He has a perfect life without being engaged with a woman, until one day when he met to Lucy (Drew Barrymore) his mind now changes. The two made the perfect couple of Hawai, Lucy dated with Henry and they like each other but at the next day, Lucy acts as if she doesn't know anything about Henry, all because Lucy has had a car accident and she lost her mind and forgets everything that she lived. But Henry is really in love with Lucy and he will fight against everything to get what he really wants (Lucy).

Drew Barrymore has become in the famous "almost" mature actress in Hollywood, for me, she will be so soon "The next Julia Roberts" because she has showed us that she is an excellent actress, performing (recently) good characters in comedies movies like "Duplex", "Never Been Kissed", "Fever Pitch", "Home Fries", "Charlie's Angels", "The Wedding Singer" and of course "Scream" playing Casey Becker the first victim to die in Goshtface's hands. I wish to have Drew for always.
