Sometimes, you accidentally stumble onto a movie that you wouldn't normally watch... Thank God Tubi auto played this film.

Over the top? Almost, but rides the line of too much and gives you this gross out awesomeness. It is a nasty movie. Reminds me a little of Gutterballs. If you are a Gutterballs fan, definelty check this out.

I was very impressed by how fun this movie is.

One scene particularly has me randomly chuckle when I think about it from time to time.

Is it a new wave 70s grindhouse film or 80s schlock, explotation revised, im not sure. But, If you are going to throw a backyard screening of a movie with libations with friends, I would suggest that this would be a top notch pick.

Its really hard to follow this movie. Why? Because you don't care what is happening. I believe this is a Screambox exclusive. I also know that this is the 4th movie of theirs that I watched that is just awful. There is no audience for this movie. The vietnamese have plenty of ancient folklore of monsters and weird stuff happening. Why not start with that. I think there is a framing story to this. Friends sit around and tell each other the stories that transisition into the movie. Bad CGI is just what CGI is. But this one is real crappy. You could just have sit a person down in a make up chair for a half an hour rather than go through the countless hours of CGI effect work here. That's goes for all recent movies, especially when it comes to blood. This is a waste of time. I got Screambox for 99 cents for three months. I feel like I was ripped off.

I should let you know that going into this film I have hated every one of Rob Zombies movies. I think his wife is a terrible actress and is just to annoying in levels that can't be described in any language on earth. That is really mean. I'm going to 180 this...

I liked this movie. Is it that I was taken by surprise coming in thinking it was going to be awful? Is it really just a fun movie? My love for the original? Sherri is actually good in this part, and generally sweet? Yes to all! I liked her in this, I liked all the people in this. It's a dumb movie but dang it, I found myself entertained.

I will watch it again and maybe feel differently. I want to write this a little on the positive side from my first impression. I will eventually transform back into the senical A-hole that has a problem with anyone who thinks differently than I do about mooovies 🐄

Wanted, "metal band" video directors to cram 5 movies into 90 minute snooze fest. This one will make a Rob Zombie film fan puke.

I am going to try and be as diplomatic as possible to see why I think this movie is a 1 and a slew of others say it's a 9 or 10. First case, the 9's or higher. Do you love one or all of the following? Popa Roach, FFDP, Ice Nine Kills or Rob Zombie movies? This is going to be your cup of tea. If you would have preferred to hear 12 minute black metal songs from bands no one has heard of before while being a pretentious prick after the first 5 minutes, you will give this one a 1.

This is the most strange I have ever seen a movie peiced together. There are very successful visual horror elements in this film. Some of the scenes with the witch are generally unsettling. The makeup, cinematogarphy and direction, for these scenes, are all on point.

Everything else is awful. And I am talking next level bad. It's atleast 20 minutes to long for starters. The movie needed minimally, a paper thin character story arc that pertained to the overall theme of the movie. It had nonsensical robot generated text. Everything they said to each other meant nothing. It was really strange. The director should have hired an improve class.and went with no script. The sound is real bad as.well. Over dubbing English on English speakers. Zero natural sounding elements. And the it ends irruptly...

Boba Gett through Disney red tape? He is in 5 of the 7 episodes, and you know what? That is too many.

Boba Fett, dull.

I think they saw the finished product of the first 4 episodes and scrambled to save it. I'm glad people like this stuff. It's why Michael Bay is a multimillionaire. Praise A24!

Keep me in the simulation where it is always 1999 and I was sitting in the theater having and epigenetic experience watching the first movie. The cheese in this is movie is hard to swallow. And it's not cheddar, it's fermonda cheese.

Another director trying to out smart the room with arthouse slop. This film doesn't not need to exceed 80 minutes. The slow burn is extinguised by a ruse of uninspired linear minimalism.

I might not be the brightest light bulb in the crayon box but but the title Soul Survivors makes no sense. I realize it is a play on words, but the essence of the word sole-survivor is lost in the translation of this story. Why am I telling you this? Because the title of this movie represents the overall quality of this film.

Probably should have called this show Eternia. You have to set "fanboy" mode on neutral to enjoy this. I also wanted the toys I played with as a kid to come back to life. Once you hit the reset button, you can enjoy this fun new take.

If you are a casual movie watcher I think you will pleased with this film. If you have a critical mind and dissect every alarm that goes off in your brain, you are not going to enjoy yourself.

This is enjoyable. If you are looking for a serious horror movie that makes sense, give this one a skip.

7.1 avg rating upon viewing. This movie will avg out to be a 4.2 - 4.4, and thats generous.

On The Room, Troll 2 scale it is a 10. This movie is perfect in doing everything incorrectly.

At no moment in this movie is there a sincere moment between these characters. The origin story jumps all over the place for no apparent reason. Why the shaky camera? Those shots don't bring you into the movie when they have no meaning. Horrible time placement. Lois figures out Clark is Superman in the first hour? This is too bad for words. But, Michael Shannon is great. Zack Snyder started out his career very well. I love the Dawn of the Dead. 300 and Watchmen also were good and have replay value. Then along came Sucker Punch. I thought, "this is a terrible movie but you can't win them all". Man of Steel proves he is not as talented as I once believed. Ben Afflec as Batman... I know a lot of people that enjoy this movie. I wish I could. If you thought the Transformer movies were "amazing", this movie is right up your alley. Avid movie goers that take content over action stay away form this piece of sh*t.
