The best WW2 movie bar none, stays true to the story of the DDay landings, no need for CGI or any gimmicks, Stella cast and great acting from start to finish. Kenneth more as commander Colin Maud with his British bulldog named Winston just perfectly shows the British fighting bulldog spirit that got us through the war to victory, the Germans arrogance and total trust on their little leader just shows how stupid they were to believe in his idea of the master race, I totally love the part played by Gert Frobe and the little French guy when the naval bombardment starts!! Love it, nevermind all the modern movies if you want an honest account of the DDay landings watch this brilliant movie.
