Was expecting so much more, especially on account of the A-list cast. Supremely let down, it was both boring and a torture to watch, which I stopped doing after the first 5 episodes.

The storyline's all over the place, direction makes you want to vomit with certain/many scenes.

Only reason I watched as much as I did was stellar acting.

Even though the idea is good, the delivery is sub-par. The back and forth between eras is done abruptly and tires me.

And the thing Davis does with the lips, SERIOUSLY exaggerated.

Something's missing, not what it could have been.

Music is *awful*! It makes you want to shut it off.

The actor who plays Charles looks/sounds nothing Charles - pretty sure casting could have been a lot better with some enhanced effort.

Storyline very boring, I fell asleep the first 2 times, managed to finish it the 3rd.

Kirsten Stewart, I'm not a fan of, but she does a passable job.

I really don't get the high ratings. Characters are completely out of this world, family and business dynamics unrealistic, dialogues moronic, camera close ups super annoying.

The 5 star is only for the cast - and not all of them.

I found it really funny! For its genre, very entertaining 🙌 Great chemistry between Johnson and Reynolds, that was a revelation, they make a very good screen duo.

A 6,5 is more like it. First 2 episodes were unfunny. Glad I kept watching. Martin Short is an absolute delight, last 2-3 episodes he had me in stitches!

Other than him, script can take some major improvements.

Undoubtedly some of the best TV I've ever seen - and that's a lot.

Seriously, it's so good! The amazingly gorgeous, beautiful, sweet, lovable Hooch aside ((yes, I'm biased!), the script is funny, the lead actor a great casting choice, and an all round entertaining show 🙌

Notwithstanding the fact I'm a huge Nicola Walker fan, this is a gripping and very realistic show. Storyline, script and cast are brilliant. Seriously can't get enough of it.

I just finished watching it and am overwhelmed by the feelings this movie left me with. Great directing and storyline and a true BEAUTE of a horse that you can't get enough of watching. Really enjoyed it, it made me *feel*.

A great show on all counts. Humane, witty, genuinely funny. I *hope* there's a second season!

Disappointed overall - with a cast like that I expected a lot more. Acting was completely sub par, as a result of very bad directing. I gave it a 7 only bc of the story and the cast - which is generous.

It jumps from one episode to another with zero coherence and huge inconsistencies, while leaving massive and unrealistic gaps to the imagination of the viewer - and X episodes down the road they attempt to fill those gaps, very unsuccessfully.

Not to mention the bad acting from some of the main actors.

Left me very disappointed. When Oprah cosigns as an Exec Producer, I expect more - Queen Sugar was excellent work.

Very good cast and acting. It kept jumping around though and finally left me with gaps and question marks. Too chaotic for my taste.

Very pleasantly surprised by this show. Colourful, vibrant, musical, funny, human. I hope it returns for a second season.

Ep. 4 and it's been great so far 👍 Hope it continues this way.

With a concept that good, by episode 5 I couldn't stop yawning and feeling irritated by the sheer boredom and stupidity

I had high expectations and although Lewis was amazing, the movie ended and I was left with a HUGE question mark (???!!!!) I felt I lost 2 hours of my life. No sense whatsoever.

Thumbs up 👍 for a very good movie! Aside the A-list cast, the (black) humour, the turning storyline, a very clever and refreshing movie!

The twists and turns to the last minute! An accurate depiction of people's characters with all the good and evil and the sense of survival. I was absolutely taken by surprise and my stomach got turned toward the end, but all part of a very realistic storyline. Definitely worth watching. I will do so again once the effect of the first time-round has subsided. Brilliant work.

I just can't get over the level of bad acting from Hornsby, which unfortunately spoils the whole thing. Shame bc Kebbel is good and so is the story concept. Very bad casting of the lead actor.

Brilliant script, great characters, amazing cast, a true comedy all-around and a very good depiction of the British culture. There's been episodes where I literally can't stop laughing out loud! Lesley is my all-time favourite character! Keep up the good work 👍
