I have read in other reviews that the tone of the show was off. Was it a dark comedy? Was it supposed to be serious? It was noticeably switching back and forth.
The logical assumptions that would happen in real life versus the show could be frustrating at times. The last episode has a lot of these instances. To many red herrings that went no where. I was not a fan of the ending. Way to out of left field.
The actors were all excellent. Nicole Kidman and Liev Schrieber where standouts. I did not understand the casting of Isabelle Anjani. Maybe she is a friend of the director or her casting was a homage to her past roles?
The dance sequence in the beginning was strange too. It just seemed off and out of place.
