Big Little Lies: I Want to Know (2019)
Mediocre
What was the point?
No mystery. No new plot twists. Nothing.
Just an expected ending.
1/10.
Big Little Lies: The Bad Mother (2019)
All depends on the finale
Great episode. Outstanding acting. But I want more.
The previous season was more intense and thrilling.
However, the success of this season depends on the finale. To find out if there are any plot twists, or just the gradual unfolding of the events of the previous episodes.
Big Little Lies: Kill Me (2019)
Kill me
Each episode of Big Little Lies is directed differently from the other where you can see more than one point of view.
This one focuses on how Ed views his relationship with Madeline, and how he feels about it.
It also shows us how Jane is trying to overcome her sexual problems and still failing. I personally feel that Kory is going to turn out to be Perry's brother and he's working with Mary Louise to find out how his brother died.
Bonnie on the other hand with her mother's condition and everyone convincing her that she's not okay and she needs help, and the fact that she knows that but still denying it because she's trying to hide their big little lie, she gives up again and goes to the police again where she's surprised by Kory leaving the station.
Tori and Joseph seem to be getting their revenge on Madeline. Tori buys Ed a drink and seduces him.
And finally, Celeste is still struggling with the curstody of her children against Mary Luise. And Rhenata is still on the verge of losing it because of the people around her who keep destroying her perfect image that she drew for herself, that she built this great rich and happy family where its all sunshine and rainbows.
Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
Disappointing
Okay the battle scenes in the episode were superb. I loved every minute of them even though i couldnt see what was going on in some of the scenes.
But let's face it. They have been building the story of the Night King for 8 seasons now. They made him so powerful it felt like he was inevitable.
But killing him off in a less in a second with a knife and with all the white walkers surrounding him! It was pretty disappointing.
The storyline would have been much better if the white walkers took off winterfell and marched to westeros to kill off cercei.
5/10. They ruined the series.
Capharnaüm (2018)
A gut-wrenching, heartbreaking movie..
I came into this movie with my hopes up, and definitely Nadine Labaki didn't dissapoint me. This movie doesn't shy away from exposing the horrid that rumbles in the shadows. It demonstrates the harsh reality with no discreet. All the cursing, the abuse, the manipulating. All there.
A masterpiece for sure. Well done Lebanon.
Vikings: Ragnarok (2019)
Very expectable
It feels as if this entire season could've been deleted. Bjorn and Lagertha escaped from Kategatt in the beginning of the season because of Ivar and now they're back. Ivar, of course, got away, and they killed half of the new characters as if the audience knew and cared about them to be emotionally affected.
As expected, Floki didn't appear in this episode which marks the idea that 'FLOKI'S STORYLINE SUCKED.'
It is officially the worst season of Vikings.
Vikings: What Happens in the Cave (2019)
THE GODS LOVE US
This episode reminded me why i love this show so much.
The storylines were a bit slow over the season but this episode started to tie up their loose ends.
I have high hopes for the season finale. Dont dissapoint me.
Vikings: Baldur (2019)
When did this show become unbearable?
It's like the show's own producers wants to kill it. They keep on adding new characters and killing old ones; they're not even trying to build these characters for us to connect with them. Even the emotional scenes dont seem emotional now, just fake.
Even as a soap opera it's failing.
I really hope the next 2 episodes be better than the ones before it.
Vikings: Hell (2018)
They killed the wrong person.
Ragnar's death affected the show heavily, and since then the show haven't got its pace yet. Lord Heahmund was the only means of saving this horrible season. Lagertha suddenly became useless, Bjorn talks but does nothing, Ubbe tries to be like his father, and Ivar suddenly turned into this ignorant villain, unaware of the things happening before him, YOUR WIFE CHEATED ON YOU GET THAT INTO YOUR THICK SKULL.
this show is dead.
You: Bluebeard's Castle (2018)
Very plain
It is such a shame. This series had many potentials and throwing them all way just so they can focus on how Beck is trying to escape from Joe is just boring. I wanted more hidden facts about Joe and even about Beck. Like those flashbaks of Mr. Mooney while he abused Joe.
Great actors, great story, bad bad directing
Go find yourself a better series. The only good thing about this series is it's pilot.
How to Get Away with Murder: I Want to Love You Until the Day I Die (2018)
Kind of Dissapointing
As much as I love to rate it as a 10, it is a fine 8. For the last episodes, this season was building up to become very huge, but this episode didnt seem to be interesting as we all thought.
I wasnt quite satisfied till the last miniute where the major news was spilled: WHO IS GABRIEL!
But honestly the murder was kind of cliche: they chose the most boring character and chose to murder it. It wasnt very compelling and didnt feel like it was HTGAWM.
The show couldve taken a better twist concerning the murder but for Gabriel, that might be one of the best twists they pulled on this show ever.
Oh ana Coliver's wedding was very beautiful as expected.
