More of the Same

Awh, man. I'm a big fan of the whole parody/spoof genre, i loved all the classics like "Spaceballs", "Airplane!", "Top Secret", "Scary Movie" (not actually a classic, but still) Even the terrible ones like "Vampires Suck" and "Superhero Movie" gave me some laughs. But, this one is just... awh, i don't know how to describe it. OK, "The Starving Games" as the title suggests, is a parody on the hunger games saga and follows the same plot of the first one. However, it does nothing actually funny with it source material, and it could. All the jokes are so dumb, old and pointless i really doubt the writers thought they were funny. The first "joke" of this movie is Kantmiss, the main character, hunting in the wood, when her boyfriend pops up from nowhere making her accidentally shoot an arrow at a balloon with a "the great and powerful Oz" character at it. HOW? How is it supposed to be funny? Do the writers really think just showing a familiar face is funny? And that's my problem with Friedberg and Seltzer, they don't even try. All of them spoofs just show some famous character or celebrity being hit by something or popping out of nowhere like that's funny. Here's an example in this movie we see LMFAO and the avengers exploding, in another scene Psy is shot by an arrow, Taylor Swift appears and starts singing, an Avatar parody in the middle of the film, with no good reason, A man uses Siri for throwing "angry birds" and fruits at a character and she cuts the fruits in a "fruit ninja" way. Why all this? Because the writers really think the audience is dumb enough to laugh at something just because they recognize it.

Try Hard

First:Sorry about my bad English,i'm not American! If you know Leslie Nielsen's previous spoof/comedy films, you could expect something very funny this time, but, that's not what you get, instead,we get a movie that tries as much as it can to be like "airplane",and mainly "naked gun".It's pretty clear that this movie writers were influenced by the ZAZ team. But,they sure don't know how to handle the style of humor that may had seemed easy on their minds. We do receive nonsense,double-sense,jokes a second and other characteristics that made movies like "Naked Gun","Airplane" and "hot shots!" so great, but,in this one all of these characteristics had been used out of context and not well-used as the movies mentioned. Sure, this film has great jokes, some even clever, but all of them are in the trailer,so,my tip for you is watch the trailer, then watch this movie online till the great opening with "weird" Al,you will see all you need

Scary Movie (2000)

Very Funny Movie
13 June 2015
First,i'd like to apologize about my bad English,i'm not American. Now the review, people will disagree, but, this is one of the funniest movies i ever seen.Warning:If you like political correctness, this movie is totally not for you,it goes from suicide jokes to ejaculation jokes,it has lots of sex jokes, some are unfunny and kinda gross, but, are compensate by how other jokes are hilarious. Now,"Scary Movie" parodies slasher teen movies, mainly,"Scream" and "i know what you did last summer",but, take jabs at other films even "matrix".So the film synopsis is the same than from "Scream" and "IKWYDLS",only adding stupid, because it is a stupid version of these films.Sinopsis:stupid teens accidentally kill a man,one year later, these teens are chased by a stupid killer.See?Now,despite being one of the funniest movies i ever seen,it still has it bad moments,i mean, even naked gun has bad moments. One of the problems is after a while, the movie loses it steam, and the jokes get bad (those are probably the Seltzer- Friedberg parts of the script) but still it's a very funny movie and i recommend to everyone who likes stupidity and spoofs, even those who don't like may enjoy it

Imperfect,But,Good Way To End The Show
13 June 2015
Warning: Spoilers
The show ended the best way it could.I mean,i finally watched a series finale that actually was true to the series itself, this was never a heart-warming show,so a heart warming finale wouldn't feel like two and a half men, people don't stop getting rude to each other just like this.I have to say i loved the meta-humor,i loved Jake surprising cameo and i was disappointed Charlie didn't appear, although i was never one of the Charlie b*Ches(fan boys),i would like seeing him, since it was kinda of unnecessary building an episode around someone who does not shows up.I liked almost every joke on this episode, and i got the meta-language on the ending scene, but,i felt it was unnecessary. And i was also disappointed we didn't get to see Louis in this episode, since the whole season was about his adoption.I like to thing about the vanishree episode as the closure to the show and this one as a bonus episode, parody of itself and that was only made for,i don't know, fun.Despite i liked it,i was against somethings,as i said,Louis and Charlie not appearing, the final scene, making Charlie the episode villain, and what the f*ck,a goat? Really?A goat? But,anyway,it was a good way to end a TV show, and i don't think we will ever get another series finale like this, which shows crude characters actually being crude at the finale instead of inexplicably starting to act as good people just because it's the finale,a piano falling on the creator's head, and no long hugs. Let's be honest,it was never a common series, with heart-warming moments.

Best Episode Ever!
21 January 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I just love this episode. It got all we love about the Simpsons, good jokes, emotion, but,i actually like this episode because we had never seen an episode about Homer's mother before,so,it has the emotion of Homer meeting his mother for the first time, and as a human,it is a real heart-warming moment in the show.It is truly the most touching episode in the show,as well as it final.Sorry about my bad English

Sinopsis (contains spoiler):On a Saturday morning Homer fakes his death in order to get out of working at Mr.Burns garbage collecting event and is later forced to go to the records office to verify that he is alive. The clerk reveals that Homer's mother is still alive but Homer disagrees and goes to his mother's grave for proof. The grave actually belongs to Walt Whitman but Homer by chance does meet with his mother. He takes her home to meet his family, but she remains silent as to where she was for the past 27 years. The family finally forces her to reveal her secret: she was part of group of Hippie radicals in the 1960s and is on the run from Mr. Burns and the FBI. Mr. Burns later discovers Mona's whereabouts and she is forced to return into hiding
