Ojing-eo geim (2021)
Meh.
Gut wrenching. Dark. Predictable ending. Honestly, couldn't stomach it first four episodes. Last four, were easy to read and not so entertaining. Should have gotten on the plane and ended this series. He could have followed through with one thing in his life. Guess his daughter really isn't important. What was the point of her storyline?
Outer Banks (2020)
SEASON 2; Predictable
It was good. However, none of the cliffhangers surprised me. If you've seen as many movies / series as I, you saw what was coming three episodes before it happend. As soon as we met this new lady involved in the treasure..I knew right then who had not died from season 1. Near the end, when they agreed that artifacts should be kept in a museum and still didn't call the police department or authorities that could prevent the latter was irritating. Unbelievable at times. The middle of the series dragged. No wonder they cannot succeed, they're children.
Gunpowder Milkshake (2021)
Very pleased.
If this was a feminist movie, I hardly noticed. It's nothing compared to the rebooted Ghostbusters. This film stands alone. I am intrigued if they produce a second with that ending. The action sequences were rad and the music wasn't overbearing. The script wasn't cringy either. It was well directed. Unsure of the costume director's inspiration, however the aunts wardrobe reminded me a lot of the fairy guardians "aunts" of Aurora in Sleeping Beauty. Kind of a darker badass interpretation. Definitely recommend adding this to your watch list. I'd rate it a 7.8 maybe an 8/10.
Fear Street: 1994 (2021)
Add this to BAD movie night!
Maya Hawke's beginning scene was the best part of the entire film. After that, It went down hill fast. The acting is very poor. The emotions aren't believable. Yes it's a thriller/horror genre, but what's up with the lighting? Also, where are all the parents in this? C'mon..shooting a gun in the middle of the street won't cause any eruption? Also, hospitals aren't that dead. This movie was so awful. Had potential. Bad movie night? Add this to the list.
Élite (2018)
Season 4
I'd still rate this show an 8/10 based on the most recent season. Season 4 was pretty consistent. The new characters will grow on ya... may take the entire season, however pumped for season 5 to see how the drama will play out with Gusman's exit. Interested to know the returning cast for season 5.
Sweet Tooth (2021)
A Must See
Living through a pandemic that acted in a lot of ways as the virus did in the series...wow, just wow. I really hope there will be a season 2, because that ending has me hooked baby!
The Woman in the Window (2021)
Pleasant Watch
The trailers gave me a Rear Window vibe. This was a good movie. I have not read the book and will mostly likely not, so well done! I don't really have any issues with it. It was a lot deeper than I was expecting. Awesome ✌.
Yes Day (2021)
Super Cute
Watched with no kids, and the movie was hilarious. Entertainment perfect for a family.
The Rain (2018)
Season 3
What a great ending to a series. That first episode back was a magnificent hook to the end. They did really well. Cannot wait to watch other Danish artwork. Nice job to the cast/crew!
The OA (2016)
YES, SEASON 3 PLEASE👏👏
Just watch it!
Emotional, Sci-fi, Drama, Mystery.
Just wow!

Based on ALL 3 seasons
I was intrigued by this dystopia esk series from the trailer. I'm a sucker for film, based on this idea. Having watched all 3 seasons English dub, I'd rate it a high 7..7.7 seems fair. The english dub is not terrible. I simply didn't need a reading lesson while watching the native version with subtitles. The emotion of the film still broke through with english. Overall I really enjoyed season 2 midway, through the third season. This is where it really starts to pick up. Some supporting characters might get on your nerves, but there needs to be some controversy..I guess. Looking foward to a fourth season from Netflix.
I want to thank Netflix for showing that series from different parts of the world can be entertaining and successful. Living in the US, sometimes we don't see many films or series created outside of America. Always been a huge theater buff, but streaming has created a culture of film that is as good as the film we see as blockbuster. Thanks again guys!
The Last Airbender (2010)
Watching 10 Years Later
Roughly 10 years have gone by since I saw this movie. It still holds up being pretty bad. Cultural appropriation is non-existent. I quivered with laughter, every time they mispronunciated a name. For its time, the battle scenes that included bending elements are visually entertaining.
I am hyped for Nerflix's version, since the original creators are working on it again. Hopefully they can redeem this live action tragedy.
El hoyo (2019)
Quit While You're Ahead
The End Ruins it! The movie is a risk buy, and the ending makes no sense. You get no explanations, it's like the director got bored and told the actors to walk off set...literally. Honestly, waste of time.
Outlander: The Ballad of Roger Mac (2020)
Emotional
This episode was bittersweet. Wonderfully shot. Warm and inviting to the eye. Based on the remaining episodes, I do not believe this is the end for young Roger. Cannot wait for next sunday!
Toy Boy (2019)
Terrible Writers
The writers ruined this series. Could have been so much better, but the lines were so cheesy. A shame really.
