First time back to the cinema in almost a year and a half....was it worth it?
6 June 2021
"A Quiet Place Part 2" picks up immediately where the previous film left off. Seeing the remaining characters that we have grown to love explore new ground.

Was it any good? Was it worth the year to wait?

Yes and yes the film was a step up from its predecessor and delivery's with pure beauty, with beautiful cinematography and well rounded cast, A quiet place part 2 is the best film I have seen in a long time.

I'll be comparing it with the Conjuring 3 which I'm going to see in just a few hours.

It's a fun time and a quiet one, it will have you on edge from start to finish and there is room for a third instalment.

An emotional rollercoaster, in a tense setting
14 October 2020
So the second season in Mick Flanagans anthology series is back and a new story, a new name, and with less scares!

This show has the same spark as Hill House and is set up like the Hill House but doesn't have the same spine. Bly Manor has interesting characters, a good story line and was written really well. I'll start with the Pros, the story was great it's comes off like it's been done before however as the show goes on you'll come to understand it's originality. Characters was great and enjoyable to watch them develop. The show is full with twists and turns and it had me guessing until the reveal and it's very refreshing to see.

This show is more a love story, you'll realise by the time you finish it, it's so emotional a few episodes had me crying. The show lacks the scares, a few jump scares but literally a handful the show should have been called Bly Manor and it should have been an episode or two shorter!

It begins slow and then picks up and slows down again but the ending is so bitter sweat and satisfying it wraps up really well.

I hope season 3 will improve and scares me as much as Hill House did!

I LOVED it
1 October 2020
I really enjoyed this film. If I'm honest it was my most anticipated film for September and let me tell you it was worth the wait. The film is split in 2 let's say with the first hour of build up and character inductions and right on the hour mark the real events finally begin and I laughed so hard, Emory is by far my favourite character and Hank came a close second. I love that the film tackled a number of things like depression, discrimination and the horrible truth of what it was like to be gay in the late 1960's. Jim parsons gives an outstanding performance as he always comes through but the acting that stood out for me was Zachery's, his presence filled each scene he was in and he really played this character so well from the body language, emotion and dialogue. The drama and comedy blend in so well together. I will absolutely return to this film over and over again.

"Jack. I swaer"
30 July 2020
"Jack, I swear." Broke-back mountain tells the story of two men, falling into forbidden love, in the early 60's and carry's the story through a 20 year period.

Broke-back is a well thought out masterpiece, the acting is phenomenal, the story is superb, the scenery and soundtrack is perfect. I watched this movie for the first time last night, basically going in blind witch I suggest everyone who has heard of this movie should, I only knew that it was a love story about two men. after my viewing I was brought to uncontrollable tears. I was so invested in the characters, Jake and Heath did amazing work here, their chemistry was of the charts, everything was brought to life in such a terrific way that I really felt as if I was in this world with them. As a member of the LGBT this story really hits home, this movie never through around gay stereotypes, just two men falling in love in a world that is so hateful, that you have a target over your head if anyone found out. "Jack, I swear." honesty brings me to tears thinking about it, something so simple but with so much meaning and symbolism. Well I swear I will never forget about this movie and I hope one day I can show my own kids this movie, and they show their kids, this film will carry on for generations and will never be forgotten.

Kaya Scodelario can't act, the movie has a good story and structure but Kaya Scodelario acting just pulls you straight out of it!

Fun, but it's just so cringe
30 November 2019
It's a fun watch, and you can watch it in one sitting, and it's also pretty funny, but there is so much cringe worthy moments that i had to stop watching for a minute and come back to it.

Farewell OITNB

Warning: Spoilers
Such an upsetting farewell, I cried so hard when it ended. What a great send off. Finding out Nicky is the new prison mom was way better than finding out Bran is the ruler of The seven kingdoms in GAME OF THRONES.

It was one off he weaker episodes, but still good!
7 May 2019
Can we get one thing straight I'm a huge fan of this show and I'm reviewing this to set a few things straight. It's the final season with only 6 episodes. There isn't much story line about mainly because everything they are setting up comes to an end in two episodes and the story is more or less over, so they are wrapping up. This episode was good and the diploids between the characters was amazing and it just building up to the epic final battle.

I do enjoy a good comedy, it has to be said.
12 March 2019
This episode is a great way to start the new season. It's s fun quick story packed with comedy gold. This season could shape up to be better than last season and I'm saying this after viewing one episode. I do have high hopes for this season. My favorite like From the episode is from sister Michelle. "I do enjoy a good statue, it has to be said".

Creative
20 February 2019
Breaking down part 1 is a creative way of splitting a film in two. It didn't drag on, it felt like a story on its own, it felt complete and makes you excited for part 2 so stop with all the hate because it's a really good movie

It had the potential for a 10
6 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This show was brilliant, it was smart, biting your nails exciting and it was intense. There was never a boring scene, so much was happening throughout the whole season, but I'm giving it an 8 because up until around episode 8 I felt uncomfortable watching it, but in a good way, I didn't know if joe would get caught or would he make noise, while stalking Beck.

But after episode 8 joes had a new love interest, his mind was set away from Beck, the suspense wasn't at its best, but the ending was average, I didn't expect it to end the way it did though so I'm looking forward to season 2

Overall this show was Brillang I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a thriller, drama, love story.

15 November 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Who knew that knew that a group of teens would be able to help there friend escape prison and make it look realistic. Out of everything this show has thrown at us and of course everyone has come to terms with the unrealistic style of the show, but this episode made something that would be impossible into something worth watching. I love this show and hoping I'll continue loving it in the future but right now after the first 5 episodes of season 3, this season could potentially be my favorite.

A series that's worth every second off your time!
4 November 2018
This series does everything right, great character development, great storyline, no plot holes, creepy vibes, sadness and a bit of humor. One off the main things I loved about this series is that the first half off the season dedicated each episode to a certain character it gave me kind off an "IT" feeling and I was thinking if "IT" was a tv show that this would be the perfect style for it. I don't want to give too much away and I can't trust myself to write a review and ramble on so just one more thing. This is a full round story there's no storylines left to tell with these characters and they all had satisfyingly endings so if there is going to be a season 2 and we all know how Hollywood works they will probably tell the story off one off the ghosts in the hosue. Anyway I think everyone over the age of 15 should watch this show. It's absolutely brilliant!

wow just wow
30 March 2016
Well I am blown away by this movie. God who knew he that a movie that has only been advertised for two months and no one has heard about it since then. With a very supported cast and crew behind the camera made this movie what it is. While watching this you will say to your "Damn this will be a future classic". My little brother who is 13 was scarred out of his pants by the first five minuets, and I must admit so was I. Just for the simple fact that it does have unexpected scares. for a pg-13 film they managed to keep it in place. By the end of the film everyone in the cinema applauded and this film is worth it. And you can also see that this could be a new trilogy because it has so much more story to tell. I'll give this film a 92% out of 100. "Thrilling, scary just fantastic"

boring and forgetful
21 January 2016
Hi hopes for this movie but they broke probably 30 minuets into the movie. I read the book when it first released and loved it 9/10, but the movie was brutal. boring and forgetful. I have never looked at my watch as much as I did in this movie. not even a good scene. at least the acting was good. actually only Chloe was trying. I will never watch it again. Half the people in the cinema walked out in this film my rating 3/10. I didn't walk out because I wanted to see how it ended. My cousin had no patients for this film. She left with her boyfriend. But he stayed he was the same as me wanting to no how it ended. but worse ending in a film. Like I said I read the book but I also was hoping they would change the ending.
