I had not expected this episode to be this 'epic' and as I have a few notes on some certain story choices, and some terrible cgi/vfx stuff near the end, I think this episode overperformed on many aspects.
It was cool, it was epic. Lan was epic, finally! One of my main conserns with this adaptation so far.
As a fan of the books I have to say, they really turned this season around and it felt alot more faithful to the books.
The forsaken are truly carrying the show but now I am actually excited for the next season, something the last episode of s1 didn't manage. God I just hope Amazon is gonna grant the writers & producers more episodes per season or just more time per episode even. I mean they cramped this episode to the teeth and I loved it but much of this could have had a lil more breathing room.
It was a good season finale. A lot better then I hoped for. Now give the creators more time, resources and creative freedom!
