As an islander from Lewis I am utterly disgusted with this movie not one single natural accent. The Lewis accent is soft and melodic, these individuals in no way represent who we are or how we exist. This is an absolute fail, shame on the producers for utterly failing to use the talent on the island in favour of actors with no idea what it is to be an islander.

We as a people have an unlimited resource available and they failed to make use of it, Scottish accents are not all the same and each area represents the input and in some instances the forced way we were made to speak by English people, the further south you go the less the impact or forced change can be noticed!

If they had used island accents the passion within the song of the accents would have carried the story to new heights, like any Welsh movie you wouldn't have an English accent or Scottish on for that purpose.

Frankly this is Fresh, New, bang up to date and fabulous goes with glamorous. I love the visibility, it ticks every box. Haters should check their time frames.

After all this isn't a show about million pound dresses, that 70% of the viewers could never afford, it's about something we can all aspire to do, look good on the outside and feel good on the inside.

Don't compare and don't judge a vehicle for change. Love it nurture it and hope for more. We live in a world where people still refuse to see, all the colours of rainbow and all the people in that rainbow.

Huge applause to. Kim Cattrall for seeing the future and being part of it.

All of the actors pull their weight with amazing scenes, and they are not scared to be unlikeable or vulnerable.

I have watched some awful movies in my time. This is absolutely the very worst I have ever seen. Believe me that's a stretch. Acting seriously? None of these would have made the audition. Stiff dead lifeless! Your pick it's all that and more. Also no gay persons worth their weight, would agree to what this says. I am horrified beyond words. It's utterly disgraceful this was aloud to take up two hours, when 10 minutes would have done. Reviews of 9-10 are obviously the actors and the production company. No story line, no continuity, sound quality equal to singing on the bath. Watch at your own peril of never getting back the two hours, you could have taken your eyeballs out and washed them.

Really, this was the most dramatically empty film I have seen in years. I know people must have been paid to get any awards, as well as hefty amounts to any reviewers.

Disjointed, singing is utterly contemptible. So much stunning vocal talent something these guys don't have. Is this pre Weinstein, it would explain a huge amount!

Individually each of these actors are superb in their own right. However not one single iota of chemistry. I felt drained after watching this utter drivel!

Escapism one reviewer says, I would rather be the prisoner in Zenda than watch this again. Straight to the charity bin with this one!

It is so far removed from reality with tiny ounces of real emotion. It's obvious if you are over a size zero or are not ripped, you kiss goodbye of ever even being an extra. For that and that alone "shame on you all for reinforcing a behaviour that is killing people!"

I applaud the actors for playing each of their roles, utter believability. If this had been a random movie of a new singer trying to break the US market, while dealing with a fear is of internal madness. It would a 10, for a compassionate insight to personal fear.

However it's not, it's about a man who in life was very private in all aspects of his life. I can truly see why David's family have not participated in this movie.

This isn't the legacy left behind, from what I can gather it's a complete fabrication, stitched together with lies.

I watched this for the first time today, through veils of tears. I do want to thank Oliver and James for their performances, however they will never truly know the pain they portrayed on screen.

To stand next to the man you love more than the air in your lungs, while he takes vows with a woman, to fulfil the expectations of society rather than love, shreds your soul into so many pieces, that what you end up with, is the palest shadow of who you once were.

Trying to live your life after that and find joy in anything is impossible. So i say thank you for playing your roles, but that was my life, and no tear stick will ever reflect what happens when there are no more tears to shed.

Please can we have gay actors and play these roles. At least they could grasp the depth of what they portray. How can a straight actor even begin to contemplate, the self loathing built into our DNA, then take that and draw the pain from real life.

I respect these actors as actors roles need to be relatable. No gay mam can relate to them. Shame on the casting and directors.

This had potential, the actors had some skill, between story, direction and the slaughter in the cutting room, this turned into a trite and emotionless waste of 18 minutes.
