Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009 Video Game)

Pure cocaine-fueled modern-shooter

The Single-player

The story continues from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. In the opening sequence you get a flash from the past, filling you in with some key elements from the previous game. Modern Warfare 2 is set in multiple locations, which makes it full of twist and turns. Similar to the previous game you follow along on two different campaigns with the same goal; defeating the Russians. U.S Army Rangers battling invading Russians on American soil, and S.A.S who has more varied locations and high-profile tasks and targets. If you want the real challenge, play on Veteran Difficulty. Fantastic single-player with both memorable and unpredictable moments.

The multiplayer

Although in it's prime it still had some flaws. Even more now with hackers and "noob-tubers" taking over, the multiplayer on Modern Warfare 2 is still absolutely the best part of the game. Every map design is perfect. All the various spots and "hidden places" on maps are incredible. There's so many approaches to the maps. There isn't a single map that is boring. Honest! All the weapons has a purpose and you have a large selection to choose from. The various challenges to unlock pro perks, to unlock cameos and various attachment on weapons, doing challenges to boost your rank and get awesome emblems and titles. You can also have 1v1 on Rust if you have reputation to keep. You'll keep coming back for more and more. Best multiplayer I've ever played. P.S Intervention is the best sniper is Call of Duty history!

Special Ops

The special ops is mostly meant to be played with a friend via split-screen or via online matchmaking. You can choose to go at it alone but it will be quite difficult, especially the more missions you unlock. Note that some of the missions actually requires you to play with another player. The levels are unlocked after acquiring stars from completion of levels. 3 stars is the maximum per level. The operations are Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta and Echo. All with various missions. Alpha being the easiest stage and Echo being the last stage and the toughest. The great thing about Special Ops is the various levels and challenges. Everything from being a AC-130 gun-man to defusing bombs in the streets of Brazil. It really gives you variation. Some of these levels are so tough, you'll be spending hours on them. Also worth noting is the level "Hidden" which is in level Charlie. If you've played Call of Duty: Modern Warfare it's a real trip down memory lane.

The single-player: 8/10

The multiplayer: 10/10

Special Ops: 8/10

This game might be a little old but if you love FPS games this is a must have! Great graphics, story, multiplayer and special ops.

Fallout 4 (2015 Video Game)

Post Apocalyptic Fallout

It will come to no surprise that the graphics in this game is superior to it's predecessors. The gunplay is better and you don't have to rely on V.A.T.S all the time. The game is set in a post apocalyptic Boston, Massachusetts. The open world of Fallout 4 is packed with 100+ locations and 100+ quests, which makes it quite big. It does get quite repetitive in the end though. There is 5 different factions you can side with; The Brotherhood of Steel, The Institute, The Minuteman and The Railroad. Before I got platinum on the game, I had 250+ hours on the game (ridiculous, I know). Making my character nearly invincible, even on the hardest possible difficulty. Fallout 4 was my first Fallout game, something that I regret a bit after playing trough Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas later on. The game also has a Workshop mode which allows you to build almost anything you desire in an unlocked settlement, with the components you've found in the wasteland. Although this can be quite time consuming.

In Fallout 4 there's 3 major DLC's (Automatron, Far Harbor and Nuka-World) which adds new quests, characters and locations. There is also some smaller DLC's that is mainly for Workshop mode (Contraptions, Vault-Tec and Wasteland Workshop).

Before Creation Club, Fallout 4 (and Skyrim SE) offered mods, which was really great. Although it will disable trophies it's always fun to check out (I think it's still available, but I'm not sure). Creation Club is just ridiculous (and expensive). On App Store there's an free app called "Pip-Boy" that you should try out. Trust me. Also one is "Pip-Map". It's a paid application, but if you do like the game I recommend that app. It's a great little tool to help you become the master of the wasteland.

I do recommend this game, but you have to know that it does get quite repetitive after awhile. It does offer an interesting story and some fun gameplay. Shooting anyone and anything that poses a threat! I recommend the Far Harbor DLC if you liked the vanilla game and finished the main story.

8/10 Cheers from Norway

Battlefield 1 (2016 Video Game)

Best World War 1 game out there
24 May 2019
The game's campaign mode (single player) really gives me the chills! The most gruesome, yet realistic and accurate World War 1 game to date.

The campaign focuses on many different aspects of the war which gives the player many stories throughout the game. Everything from battles in Somme to the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey. Instead of focusing on one protagonist, Battlefield 1 focuses on multiple, which makes the game that more unique from other FPS.

I recommend this game most for it's unique and challenging campaign story (play it on hard setting!) I haven't played the multiplayer mode so much, but I can tell you that it's all postive about that as well. FYI I care most about the single player in video games.

Singleplayer: 9,5/10 Multiplayer: 8/10

I hope to see other companies attempt to make more World War 1 games. Greetings for Norway

One of the very few games out there that really takes you to another place.

Get lost in the world of Skyrim. A beautiful and unique gem of a game. I recommend it with all my heart.

10/10 Bethesda, great game
