Firstly, I would highly recommend watching this in IMAX. I saw it in Dolby Atmos, and I slightly regret not forking over the couple extra dollars to see this in all its IMAX glory.
Tom Cruise... This guy is truly insane in the greatest way. I came into the movie excited for the stunts, which are phenomenal (there really is no one else who makes movies like Cruise), but I was surprised that I came out of the theater enthralled with the plot. This movie is nearly 3 hours but it felt like it was barely 2 because Christopher Mcquarrie has done an excellent job pacing this film. I didn't want it to end. Of course, this movie has amazing fight sequences; it's a Mission Impossible movie. However, as mentioned before, I was surprised to find out that the action was not what I enjoyed the most about this film. The story is very well crafted, and the action set pieces support that story to make this an epic experience.
