I have been a huge Kapil Sharma fan for the last 10 years. I even purchased a Netflix subscription when I learn that the show will now release on the OTT platform. While I have watched all the episodes, I have to admit that I am really disappointed. I will list some of my observations without any spoilers.

1. The runtime has been halved.

2. The characters have all changed.

3. The new characters are not as fun as the previous ones.

4. The writers have changed. It is obvious as the jokes are quite lame.

5. The show has lost its charm.

6. Honestly, I do not like the new set. It is less colourful and rather dull.

7. The guests on the show are mostly from Netflix shows.

8. A big turnoff is that there is a generic music playing instead of the actual songs for which Netflix does not have the rights. This never happened on Sony TV or Colours!!

9. The actors do not seem as committed as they previously were.

10. The only likeable new characters are Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un and Chumbak Mittal played by Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and Sunil Grover respectively. Krushna has played Donald before though. So even that is not original.

Well, I hope the coming episodes will be better and wish them all the very best.

This is an excellent show. One of a kind in India. Please do not ruin this by the poor writing. The scenes leading up to the death of one of the prominent characters was so cringe-worthy. It did not make any sense - neither in terms of the build nor in terms of the characters personality. I hope these issues are addressed in season 4 and we can have a long lasting series about cricket...
