Should Have Been Better
9 July 2017
A great idea gets lost in this amateurish film. After a pedestrian prelude depicting the shooting deaths of a couple parked on a lovers' lane in 1968 Northern California.

Years later in present day Virginia, where Mick (Shane West) and Zoe Branson (Leslie Bibb) are struggling to make it!

They buy abandoned storage lockers along with their friend. One day they buy a locker and they think they come across contents of the Zodiac killer. Because the case is "Still Open" the reward is still there for the taking.

When they find out who owned the locker there troubles begin and end up playing a deadly game of cat and mouse.

Should have been better.

A String of Blue Beads (1953 TV Movie)

Wow Nice

As a Jewish man I find it impossible to escape from all the Christmas movies. I am glad I can't because some of these films are very good. I like the films that are about having "Faith" and "Bringing Family Together".

This film is an old television show that my Grandson put on for us to watch. He loves the "Wizard Of Oz" and this special had that old witch herself Margaret Hamilton.

This very simple movie is how a string of blue beads change the lives of people that want them or possesses them.

Trust me it is very good!

True Story
9 July 2017
This film has become a cult classic. Generations of gay men quote lines and even straight people know the line "No Wire Hangers".

In this film we learn the story of Joan Crawford told from the eyes of her daughter Christina. Christina and her brother claimed that Joan was a very abusive mother and that is shown here.

What is also told in this story is how "Hollywood" treated their stars after they had a couple of box office failures.

The one thing nobody can argue about in this film is that Faye Dunaway was great in this film. She however will never talk about this film. That is too bad. She has lost out on work because if she would just embrace this film for what it is then maybe she might become a happier person.

Watch this film but be prepared to laugh when you really don't want too!
