Watch it now!

What a frickin amazing roast.

It's a dying art, and credit to Netflix, Tom Brady, the NFL, Kevin Hart, the patriots, and Hollywood for making it happen.

The TV viewer feels like a guest and part of the action. You feel like in insider.

Fantastic show.

More Roasts needed.

Tom Brady, is confident enough to do this.

Credit to Gisele and his kids, for letting him do this. They got hit with a lot of jokes themselves.

Shows insane self confidence.

What a great career, What a great retirement

The Patriots owner said it simply, "he thought he had seen it all, but this is something that tops that"

Watch it now!!

Have fun.

So very ordinary. Lazy script
8 July 2023
How can one invest in a movie, with such a badly written script.

So much of potential, wasted. Could have become a franchise.

Great cast, Tom Holland is a good actor. Mark Whalberg has potential when extracted. Here Mark was dissapointing.

The movie was primarily let down by the script.

You get the feeling, the producers were confused who to target, maybe kids, teenagers, who have played the games.

But based on when the games came out, they should have realised that target group would be older men.

Banderas is a caricature.

It's sad, what the actors have been reduced to.

Hollywood, and we as viewers need to raise our standards.

What a wonderful, timeless movie
19 June 2023
Don't go by the ratings. Watch it with your kids.

This is Jim Carry at his finest.

Action packed, and a laugh-a-thon from the beginning.

Why have some people given it lower ratings, I cannot fathom. Those individuals must watch Tenet, or another Marvel flick.

This is real, true, vintage, slapstick comedy.

The kind you don't get to see anymore.

Every scene, Jim Carry in the Rhinoceros, Jim Carry at the party, Jim Carry parking.

A complete Jim Carrey show.

A move must entertain, and this is an unpretentious watch,

Watch it alone, watch it drunk, watch it with your kids.

Chill out, enjoy.

Great opportunity, squandered!
21 May 2023
Some topics will always be loved. Stories on Elon Musk, on loved brands, and celebrated athletes such as Michael Jordan will always be revered, and watched by many.

Standards for Scriptwriters, and Directors who have been given the opportunity to work with such Amazing content, will always be higher.

A combination of Nike and Michael Jordan will be seen by all.

However, the movie has a weak script. Characters are caricaturish, not much is happening throughoutnthe film. Lacks entertainment. Either Humour, tension, is pathos. The last 45 mins are bad.

The script is like a straight to TV movie.

Matt Damon, Ben Affleck are wasted.

It's a shame.

This topic deserved a better movie.

Scream VI (2023)

Thrill a minute entertainer.
11 March 2023
Scream 6, is a thrill a minute entertainer. Exactly what iy says on the box.

In this Era of Formulaic, bad scripts, and too many superhero or LGTBQ Movies, Scream 6 is a refreshing, summer slasher movie.

Go with no expectations, and enjoy the ride.

I usually squirm at Horror films, but this frenetic paced, fun movie, was extremely entertaining.

Special points for some remarkably tense scenes such as a Subway scene.

Above average acting, the sisters acted well. If I were to nitpick, the girls could have been hotter.

Good old fashioned entertainment. Enjoy it on the big screen, while we still have movie theatres.

Vishally, spellbinding. Wow. Each and every frame is art

Vishally, spellbinding. Wow. Each and every frame is art.

From the 1st scene to the last.

The cold stark, unforgiving wilderness is the primary character.

Its best to appreciate the cinematography, and not analyze too much.

Having seen it on a small screen, I am envious of all who got the opportunity to see it in a theatre.

A few more scenes with his son, would allow the audience to delve deeper into the story.

Gladiator possibly made the same mistake.

It did seem impossible, that after such a mauling by a bear, hardly any food and being run down by a rapid/waterfall, glass/leo kept on surviving.

Hence best, to enjoy, immerse yourself and be transported to the coldest harshest forrest ever seen on screen.

Great Step to Popularize the Game
1 September 2022
Well Shot. However, too long, with no meat in the script.

A short story extended to, too many episodes.

Very repetitive. Each episode is the same, with Protagonist drinking and chess montage shots.

Excessive sprinkling of Netflix wokism further increases the length.

Our collective standards have dropped that we find above average content to be exceptional.

Band of Brothers is an example of how a mini series should be like. Engaging, character development and the story moving forward.

The Queens Gambit is unfortunatelt like a pretty repetitive Montage. Kind of like sitting in a cafe, and watching life go by.

Agenda driven film making. Writers should join politics instead of creating content
23 July 2022
What a bore fest.

They started with an agenda, watched a few other films (Baahubali, RRR), and some yellow tint.

Then decide to add a wafer thin storyline.

The film doesnt even attempt to make koney. It has one, and only 2 goals.

A) To paint so called upper caste people as Bad B) to draw parrallels between tika wearing individuals and criminals

Too bad no one will see thia tripe, and the makers will fail in their agenda.

Shameful creation from India.

Dont they realise that their viewers have grown up.

This is a cartoon! Not a movie.

Juat adding tonnes of characters, each scene predictable. Fake emotions. No story. No pathos.

Propoganda film! Avoid
14 March 2022
Shows a Propagandist perspective.

Where are the atrocities carried about Terrorists. Where is the Genocide?

The Objective of the movie is to create a false narrative.

Thankfully, it is an unwatchable movie.

Every Indian had a moral responsibility to see this movie
14 March 2022
Its a hard watch, mostly because we all feel shameful.

This happened in front of our eyes, and we did nothing. Stunned silence in a packed theatre at the end of the movie.

Legendary Music! Also introduced Amit Trivedi to the world
18 October 2021
Very very interesting. In this Era of formulaic films (Superhero, Supercop, Sequels) Something refreshing.

Direction could have been better. Very interesting story. No layers to poor Ronit Roy's character, who is shown as an absolute criminal. Hard to imagine such a looser criminal father can exist.

The Kid, Rajat Barmecha was good, the guy should Shave, and throw his hat into the ring for more projects.

Great Topic. The rest is appropriate for Youtube
15 October 2021
Target Group (TG) focussed content.

Produced on a shoestring budget, glad that TVF finally made some money.

Aimless, Meandering, amateur script appropriate for youtube, not for tv.

This is content created by a director for his final year project

Where are the tightly directed movies. Tired of just 'content'. Paying netflix too much.

Where are the tighlt.

Time for Avatar 2.0
22 August 2021
If this Cinema, I dont know what is.

James Cameron, take a bow.

What a movie.

Perfect tight script, direction and what Acting. From the villaneous Quaritch, to the phenomenal Neytiri, just Wow.

The movie has everything, Romance, Visual beauty, imagination, Action, to the final victory of Good over Evil.

The film borrows extensively from Hinduism, especially the concept of 'Vasudeva Kutumb', ie: the world is 100% connected, and the world is one. We breathe what others exhale, and then they breathe, what we exhale. The whole world is one. If one can perceive, then the whole cosmos is one.

Fabulous, need more big budget, big theatre films such as Avatar. Enough of garbage like Fast and Furious 8 etc.

The Prestige (2006)
10/10
Outstanding, Beautiful, wondrous ... I'm running out of words to describe this awesome movie!
18 August 2007
Its surprising how a movie about 2 magicians actually managed to reach a producers table, but I am glad it did.

"The prestige" comes like a breath of fresh air, considering the mediocre fare, us moviegoers are being served these days and as usual Christopher Nolan doesn't disappoint. Christopher is quite deftly carving a name for himself among the best directors of this generation and has followed phenomenal movies such as Memento and Batman Begins with another masterpiece. There are not many directors who can boast of having their last 3 movies in the IMDb top 250 list.

The movie takes on an unusual tale of the story of 2 magicians and weaves a poignant drama around it. Full of suspense and mystery. Without revealing too much, I would implore all you viewers to give this movie a dekko, and you will not be disappointed. If the suspense of Memento intrigued you, if the dark and poignant drama of "Batman begins" thrilled you, then The Presitge, will take over and take you to a world of envy, jealousy, suspense, drama and yes .. prestige.

Enjoy!

everything you wanted to know about economics but were afraid to ask.
26 June 2006
One of the best documentaries i have seen in my life.

This cult movie was part of our course in macro-economics at a b-school in hyderabad, and was shown during coffee breaks and a special screening midway through the course.

The music, the interviews, the chronological style of the documentary all make for fascinating viewing, never have I enjoyed a required reading for a course so much in my life.

This movie is highly recommended for all who have often ruminated over questions such as Capitalism vs Communism, what is macro economics and why did the south American and south east Asian currency crises occur.

Don't miss it, simply exceptional !!!
