Erik Drinks Wine and Gets a Haircut (2017)
Overlooked by the Academy
I'm hugely disappointed that I missed the premier of this cinematic tour de force. This film was shamefully overlooked by the Academy despite having all the elements of other epic films. The plot was essentially how a cunning genius was able to-against the odds-achieve his dream of creating his magnum opus autobiographical work with the financial backing of hundreds of admirers. It follows a day in his life as he gets a complete makeover, trading his earthy manly look for one of fruit. Not content with that transformation-he seeks to improve physically. All the while doing what he does best: teaching etiquette while drinking wine and hassling Ted Cruz. Aaaaaaaannnnndddd post.

Quirky fun
I love the characters in this series that mixes fantasy, horror and dram set in a back woods French town. Great and fun characters with an ensemble cast. Definitely worth a watch.

Ends weakly
I was really enjoying this complicated series until the last few episodes. The end is good, but a few of the final episodes really leave you scratching your head. This series is interesting and explores lots of emerging AI topics so is still a great watch.
