I put off seeing this because I was worried that this would really suck because most sequels try too hard and end up being totally disappointing or try to preach at you and teach you a serious lesson.( I just want to watch TV and laugh)

This is an exception. It's just a good Christmas movie. There Is lots of gags .

I love they got ninety percent of the cast to come back and the goofy lady from airplane and what about bob ? To play the mom. Julie haggerty (mom)and Erin Hayes ( who plays Ralphs wife) play off each other.so do flick and schwartz. Like the whole movie is giant tribute to the old man and the author. They keep saying it's the seventies. But it feels more 80's.

There's weird Christmas casseroles bumpuses a beer can star and a farcus. And flick and schwartz are still triple dog daring each other to do dumb stuff. I Will watch again...

I am not a big fan of Lena's writing. It's not for me. But I figured this might be good because I loved the book. I have read the book many times. Lena was scary good in once upon a time in Hollywood.

It started off ok. I liked how they had snarky little dictionary explanations of all the characters.

I liked they copied bridgerton and did the modern music in a medieval way.

I like how they dealt with the diary thing. It wasn't boring. Bella Ramsey looked how I pictured the character. She did a good job portraying a girl whose afraid to grow up and feels alone because her friends don't seem to care as much. Because the grown ups seem miserable.

Then they ruined it. They kept throwing poo at each other and just shrieking and laughing at nothing. I couldn't tell what they were saying.

They made shaggy beard the villain like an older jollier captain jack Sparrow.

Then they showed this really long childbirth scene . Then they had Birdy give this speech about wokeness and feminism in 1290?

Then it just went further down the well of stupidity.

They should have kept the original endingin the book . The ending they gave us made no sense.

Then they did this cool version of a rod Stewart song with the credits.

But the first 3/4 of the movie was good.

.it was super nostalgic for me .made me feel nine again. It didn't drag at all.

. I think the people who hated it were hoping for a darker more realistic movie or thought it was woke for some weird reason.

Whatever, i liked the cgi effects with the book. They gave it a personality.

I liked the music video in the credits. The mini Sanderson sisters when they were pilgrims growing in Salem. When the witches went to Walgreens and ate all the makeup and flew on roombahswas the funniest thing ever . I also liked when the Sanderson's lost the Sanderson lookalike contest . It was too ironic and funny.they could have done more with Gilbert the magician.

I wish the mayor had found his caramel apple. Otherwise cool film.

This show is kind of like being invited to a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and you get there and it's tofuturkey no rolls watery mash potatoes and brussel sprouts and no pie and the host lectures you about eating healthy. So you leave with your pie.

The writers seem to hate the characters and the audience Examples Charlotte hated her exes control freak mum so why is she now acting just like her?

Also how is Miranda a racist now? She was in A long term relationship with a African American Dr.

How could Carrie fire sam? She was always broke !

I think Carrie should get some comfy good-looking shoes and acupuncture her back would feel way better.

It's very slapsticky lots of parodies within parodies of other movies the guy who plays dracula is funny charming and scary and you could see why women would all for him. Kids would like it the overly perky counselor from adams family values is in it the polka dance scene with the big reveal was genius.

Kinda cheesy sarcastic with lots of double entendres but fun with a happy ending i needed this.i am glad this was recommended to from my ladies group.

The hippie the middleaged boy scout and the victorian woman are great characters. I want to know how the jazz singer died but after the third episode they kind of are running out of material and the jokes get tired.

The special affects were so bad they are funny. And my English teacher would have a field day with the dialogue but I don't care.

This was entertaining and funny with enough suspense to keep me interested. All the actors did great especially bela and the wrestler.

Never heard of her until I worked for a really old lady that still buys slop buckets off jim Tammy's ex on his new show . It was positive and uplifting funny and sad .I wished we would have known more about the developer and Gary hippie cowboy producer. Really liked the singing and the message. Be nice it costs nothing.

So was the baby dead or did they lie and were they keeping her alive as a spare to give to another family . Nothing made sense my they show one scene then say that never happened. What was with all the fake violence that didn't happen. It would have been more satisfying if she legally destroyed that evil dr and her husband.they were hurting people and mentally torturing people.

Honestly not the best ending. Was hoping the garden club ladies would have rita help them overthrow alma or something.

Like i want to know what happened with catherine and the butler and never thought i would say this but poor rita she did not deserve that! I was hoping we could see what happened to those left standing in the end and find out how carl grove from season one is connected to all this?

Best thing I have watched in a while .wish they had all episodes out at once. Don't know where this is going but intrigued at what happens next. Love his magic ness.

Like the whole seventies punk vibe. And what happened to cruella mum mystery. And all the mischief she gets into.

Catchy songs hip hop and history. They need to do this with more historical figures more people would like it.

Format is really confusing at times but liked Wanda's living in a sitcom thing including fake commercials and catchy songs for each season was a nice weird fun touch.hope they come back and give them a good ending.

Really fun foul and weird. Jenny's bad singing and Orla walking around eating smores at a fancy party was everything. They got me through quarantine. I watch the one with the pot scones and the exploding bottles of vodka way more times then can I say.

Two friends become the it couple pretending to be in love but will low self esteem and niavete and fear tear them apart.Who is lady whistle down and will the queen and eloise be able to unmask him or her. Stay tuned to find out.

Love this jd'slife is so inspiring and depressing at the same time. the critics that downvoted this must have perfect families. I wish he would write more books. His wife and sister are incredible. Also love the line from memaw about being a good terminator or a bad terminator or Neutral.

Season one was funny dark you wanted to know what happened next. You really care about the characters and everything they are going through self inflicted or not. there is twist after turn and weird conversation s abound.second season was boring way to much focus on Steve.

How dumb charles was forced to marry someone he doesn't even seem to like and how awful diana was stuck in a middle of such a crap show. How hypocritical of the queen to let Andrew do whatever he wants. Gillian plays the evil maggie thatcher so well it's not boring. Can t believe the Fagan thing actually happened

Will smith adds so much fun and warmth to the role the actor who played alladin was awkward my adorable.the musical numbers are really fun esp the prince ali one it's almost like a giant indian Macy s parade. the ending what happened to genie was cute and sweet.

Really fun although not sure how I feel about Mycroft being such a jerk.You will never guess who the bad guy is and the little love story and all the little shenannigins they got into were cute.P.s. Helena b carter needs to do more movies like this where she doesn't play a vampire/ghost or crazy drunk.She steals the show.

It's basically like every dumb adam sandler movie.It is pretty funny in a gross twelve year boy way .You feel so bad for hubie and his friends who are singled out for being too sensitive and nice. You want things to work out for them .Also there is a haunted spectre of a witch hung in 1692 exacting revenge and making mean people disappear and possibly a werewolf on the loose that keeps it interesting.

It was a little long but I had to find out what she was running from what happened to her mom and why she was wearing that godawful wig.I felt sad for her husband too he seems miserable stuck in that toxic foil covered environment being watched all the time.I hope they do a second season and we find out if her dream came true and if she went back or stayed.

The four main characters are so awesome and funny you will wish this movie was longer. The singing dancing parts got stuck in my head.The wives should of formed their own comedy team their bantering with each other and their husbands was hysterical. I wish they could of made that robin hood movie they kept writing sketches for , it sounded hysterical and I could see it all in cartoon form. This movieis a perfect toast to friendship I ended rewatching it several times..
