ONE OF THE GREATEST MARATHI MOVIES EVER MADE!!
19 January 2023
The dark comedy film 'VAALVI' is a hilarious, deliciously twisted and thought-provoking masterpiece. The script is razor-sharp and the performances by the cast are top-notch, particularly the lead actors who perfectly capture the nuances of the complex and morally ambiguous characters. The film expertly balances humor and thrill to create a unique and unforgettable viewing experience. It keeps you on edge of the seat throughout. It's not for the faint of heart, but for those willing to take the ride, 'VAALVI' is a must-see film that will have you questioning your own morality long after the credits roll.

MUST WATCH FOR MODERN GENERATION !!
24 December 2022
This movie thoroughly explores trust aspects of modern relationships which spectacularly represented in the film by director as well as lead actor Pradeep Ranganathan. The visual style, dialogues, pace, script etc are all on point which makes it a overall joyful experience. The target audience of this movie is modern couples who will find the narrated events very relatable with there day-to-day life. The movie should have dubbed in Hindi so it could have reached wider audience. Anyways kudos to the honest attempt of the director to portray modern day relationships problems. Do give it a try, I am you won't be disappointed.

A GEM OF MARATHI FILM INDUSTRY..!!
7 May 2021
The portrayal of emotions shown in this movie is so good that you instantly feel connected to it. Acting by lead actors is fabulous. One thing I very much liked about this film are how the emotions and feelings are prefectly handled and dealt with so much maturity and almost no melodrama. The direction, script, dialogues are on par with excellence. One should not miss this movie. It is available to stream on ZEE5.

Honestly, I don't care about the critics' & other reviews. I watched the film, I enjoyed it. Period. It was very entertaining especially watching Millie Bobby Brown doing full justice to the character & role! Henry Cavill as emotional Sherlock Holmes is spot-on! Do give it a watch! You will not regret it!

DARK & GRITTY SIDE OF THE SYSTEM..!!
23 September 2020
The movie very truthfully portrays the ongoing deterioration of the Indian education system. Halahal (meaning "venom") is set against the backdrop of the 2013 Vyapam Scam: a medical entrance-exam and admission racket that featured junior officials, coaching institutes and top ministers, as well as "accidental deaths" of potential whistle-blowers and loose ends. A personal perspective allows the hidden world to be revealed to the viewer in bits and pieces; morality acquires the language of suspense. One begins to question his own surrounding & perspective thereof while watching the film beacause the film communicates with you on such a depth that it makes you think hard enough & being a medical student myself it really hit me hard. I will not reveal much of the plot, you just have to go & watch it yourself. Everything including the script, screenplay, story & other aspects are spot-on while acting by Sachin Khedekar & Barun Sobti deserves a special mention beacause both of them are excellent & flawless in this film. It is a wonderful eye-opening piece of Indian cinema which should not be missed. Kudos to the creators!!

PHENOMENAL...JUST PHENOMENAL..!!!
15 August 2020
Honestly, from the trailers I was not expecting this series to be good but after watching it I am like, "OMG!! WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!" I watched this series with my family & we usually skip or fast forward the boring bits. But with this one, we did not forward or skip even 10 seconds! My family loved it very much! The creators have made a world-class Indian web series that has achieved perfection in every department be it acting, casting, music, script or literally anything! A big applause to the music composers for very beautifully showcasing Indian classical music which is the hearthrob of this series & also a treat to the ears of audience. Finally, I would suggest everyone to just go & watch this series for the sake of art! Do not miss this at any cost!

D A R K - Best Thing That Ever Happened To Our Screens !!
3 July 2020
We live in a world where quality content is not bound to any limitations like language, region, availability, etc & I am very much grateful to the internet that I was able to watch this show.

This show has also proved that the best content in the world is not always created by 'HOLLYWOOD' for God's sake & that other parts of world are also fully capable of creating exceptional content.

Coming to the series I cannot even find any words to describe this phenomenon, other reviews have done a good job in explaining it! I would like to tell that you just need to go & watch & experience it yourself to fully understand what this truly is!

Keeps deteriorating with each season!
13 May 2020
Season 1 was very good maybe because of Phoebe Waller-Bridge's fantastic writing talent but each of the show's seasons is led by a different female head writer due to which the overall integrity suffers a vicious blow. As you progress with each season, everything seems off and falling apart. Well I would say Season 1 is a must watch but Seasons 2 & 3 fail the expectations.

HONEST REVIEW :- "NOT WORTH THE HYPE..!!"
20 March 2020
Logic is replaced with intuition. Intuition cannot be explained, and so as the murders get solved with a sudden ease, you lose interest. There is a believability to it that makes for engaging viewing. Here, you sort of give up on trying to connect the dots, or even understand more deeply how the murders were concocted. (Intuition in thrillers is often a result of lazy writing.)

Then, there is the convenient use of Indian mythology that has space for both gore and lore. Using mythology to make something sound sexier, edgier almost, is similar if not the same as using Urdu to make damp squib moments sound romantic. (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Kalank) It is quite easy to spot the pointlessness of the exchange. Not going to talk on potholes and mistakes as they are explained aptly in above reviews but one thing for sure, brevity is not one of Asur's priorities.
